~Leaf~ "I'll have the salmon." Leaf felt her face flush and quickly looked down. Had he noticed her staring at him? "Do you want me to come with you to order? O...Only if you want me to that is." Leaf offered but didnt mean it, she hoped he would say no so she had a minute or two to calm down. Leaf felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She picked it up and looked at the caller. "Ooup, sorry, I have to take this. It's my mom calling." Why would her mom be calling at this time of day? Leaf walked to the front and pushed open the door. "Hey mom! Did you need something?"

~Leonid~ Leo smiled and nodded. "I'll go do it... no need for you to come if you want." It was at that tiem that he phone rang and she ran off. Leo didn't even question that her mom was calling. Wierdly enough, despite they had only met a week or so ago, and she had very nearly tried to kill him, they were on an unofficial date together, somehow. And he trusted her. Which was unusual. Getting up, he walked over to the counter and placed the order. "Uhhh... two scoops, one fish, one salmon, and two plates." The guy at the counter nodded then enered it into the till. Leo swiped his card without even blinking - at least, he had to pay for Leaf's meal with the five bucks she had given him. Looking out the window while the machine printed his receipt, he looked at Leaf through the window, the way she held heself, and- ... those thoughts were not helpful at the moment. No they were not and he should definitely ignore them. What were they talking about? Leo took the receipt and turned back to their booth, idly wondeing what Leaf was saying on the phone. It was alright though. He could wait, he had plenty of time.

~Leaf~ "Yeah. Alright. Bye Mom." Leaf hung up the phone and walked back inside. She saw Leo walking back towards their booth. "Hey, sorry. My mom just needed help getting her camera to work." She sat down across from him whie she appoligized. "It's all good." His response came out a little raspy, as if he had a frog in his throat. But at least he didn't seem mad. That was good, the last thing she wanted was to make him mad or upset. "So... are you doing anything later? We could go back to our spot." Leaf felt her face flush just thinking about how much fun they had. Best of all, it was their spot. Their special spot.

~Leonid~ Setting the receipt down on the table between them, he nodded. "Yeah, why not." He didn't really have much to do - aside from what he should have been doing, namely: studying. But hanging around with Leaf was a much better thing to do than studying, he reasoned. It was at that moment plates and the scoops he had ordered arrived, and Leo was saved from having to talk about something else by the greasy, oily, deep-fried, salty potato goodness in front of him. Well, maybe that description wasn't entirely glowing. But it was accurate, and absolutely delicious - not least because he was with Leaf.

~Leaf~ Leaf stared at the fries. They were so thick. And so greasy. She took the pinker one, hopefully hers. "What did you order?" She was trying to not look at the recipt. Why had he left it there? It just felt awkward and a little weird. "I just got the fish." Wait. Did Leo not know salmon was a fish? That was weird."I know you got fish goof, we're at a FISH and chips shop. What kind of fish did you get?" Leaf scooped some fish onto her chip. Mmmm it was hers. And it was just perfect!
