Sky kept throwing short glances at Alex as he spoke, answering his question. "Hm, I honestly forgot about dinner. I don't have any ideas, do you? You're the guest after all." Sky said, looking at Alex and throwing him a quick wink. A smirk stayed painted on Sky's face as he stared at the road again. Breathing in, he let it out slowly, waiting for Alex's answer. Many thoughts ran through his mind about the many things they could do tonight. Sky threw Alex a few lustful glances before keeping his eyes on the road for the rest of the trip.

Alex hadn't missed the glances that Sky kept throwing his way. He smiled faintly to himself upon catching a few of them. Hearing his response he gave a slight nod and chuckled softly. "Leaving the decision up to me? Brave." He said with a wink, his tone playful. "I'm kind of down for something simple." He answered after a moment of thought. "We could do a baked mac and cheese, or spaghetti?" He suggested, his eyes remained on Skylar a moment longer before he turned to look out the window as they continued driving. His thoughts, as he waited for a response, continued to bring up more dinner ideas though he chose not to suggest them, at least not unless neither of the options he'd originally said interested Skylar.

Sky listened to Alex's dinner suggestions, almost physically gagging at the mention of spaghetti. "Eugh no, not spaghetti, baked mac and cheese though." Sky said with a raised eyebrow and a smirk as he glanced at Alex. "That sounds really fucking good right now." Sky said, pulling into the grocery store parking lot. He found a parking space close to the doors and got out once it was parked. Getting out of the car, he moved his hair behind his ears before starting for the doors. He walked slowly around the truck, making sure Alex was next to him before he started walking at a normal pace. He gave Alex another flirty look before they got in the store.

Alex looked back towards Skylar when he heard his answer and raised a brow. He bit back a chuckle and shook his head. "What's wrong with spaghetti?" He questioned his tone one of interested amusement. Honestly, he was fine with the baked mac and cheese, because like Skylar had said it sounded really fucking good. Once the truck was parked, Alex unbuckled himself and opened the door. He threw a quick glance toward Skylar before he slipped out and after closing the door behind himself he moved to meet Skylar at the front of the truck and then walked beside him toward the entrance doors of the grocery store. He caught the look Skylar gave him and while he felt a rush of panic at the sight he was quick to shove it aside. He didn't dare return it with one of his own but he didn't want to ignore it and so in response, offered up a small smile in return.

Shaking his head slightly, he pushed aside the small smile offered. Sky knew not to do anything intimate with him, even in the slightest. The urge was high, but he bit it back like his life depended on it. "Nothing's wrong with spaghetti, it just sounds gross right now." Sky answered, even though his answer was a bit delayed. Sky made his way through the aisles, immediately going to the snack aisle to find his BBQ chips. Once he found them, he looked at Alex and waited for him to grab his. Moving onto the drinks, Sky went to the back fridges and scanned the pops for his Pepsi. He grabbed a big bottle instead of a small can, just so that he'd have more. Then he looked at Alex, waiting for him to grab his sprite. "Okay mac and cheese thing." Sky said softly, raising his eyebrows a bit before walking past Alex.

Alex let his gaze sweep through the store, or at least what he could make of it from the front entrance before he looked up at Skylar. Hearing his answer, albeit delayed, he gave a slight nod. "Good to know. For a second there I thought you hated the stuff." He said with amusement so clearly audible in his tone. Alex was still for only a second before he moved to follow Skylar to the chip aisle, and once there he stepped away from him to begin looking over what was available. After a moment of consideration, he ended up grabbing a small bag of Lays sea salt and vinegar chips. It wasn't one of his normal picks but it sounded better than anything else he'd been looking at. Now with the chips in hand he again trailed after Skylar to the fridges and when they reached them didn't waste any time in moving to grab one of the sixteen oz bottles of Sprite. He looked at it and then lifted his gaze to Sky upon hearing him. "Mhm." He said before he moved to turn and fall into step beside Skylar once more. "So, we should probably get a cart?" He suggested after a moment. "Unless you wanted to try and carry everything..." He added.

Skylar looked back at Alex, his eyes widening. "Oh yeah that's right, I forgot about my gummies." Sky said, jokingly sounding like he wouldn't live without them. "Nah I got this." Sky said, joking, trying to act cool. Raising his eyebrows quickly as he looked at Alex. "Hm, lets get the mac and cheese first though since wea re already on the way." Sky said, continuing to walk through the aisle. His eyes scanned all the food items before grabbing what they wanted. "This one?" Sky questioned, holding it up so Alex could see. "It'll have to do." Sky answered for Alex before getting a move on quickly. He walked down the aisle. and to where the candy was, which, funny enough, was back at the chip aisle. He grabbed what he wanted, which was a pack of assorted gummies and then looked at Alex. "You can get anything else, if you want." Sky said, speaking softly.

Alex smirked and stifled a chuckle upon hearing Skylar bring up the gummies he wanted. "We can't have that." He said amused before he gave a slight nod. "Okay, if you're sure." He said in response to Skylar saying that he had it. With a soft sigh escaping him he moved to walk alongside him as they made their way towards the mac and cheese aisle. Reaching it he looked over the different types of pasta on the shelving before looking at the box that Skylar held up. He hardly had time to formulate an answer before it had been made up for him. "Okay." He said after a moment's pause. Letting his gaze flick towards the shelving one final time he moved to once more follow Skylar toward where the candy was. The idea that it was in the same aisle as the chips was almost funny enough to laugh, though he didn't. Instead, he watched as Skylar grabbed the pack of gummies that he wanted. At the offer, Alex looked towards the shelving and the assortment of different candies before settling on a pack of Twizzlers. "Okay. I'm good. Anything else we need to get?" he asked, turning to look back at Skylar.

Sky sideeyed Alex and stood still for a moment. A disgusted face painted Sky's face, obviously as a joke, for the most part. "Twizzlers..." Sky said, jokingly judging Alex's choice. The disgusted face formed into a smile as he chuckled, "I mean, you do you man." Sky said. He walked past Alex, gripping everything tightly so he wouldn't drop anything. Once he made it to the cash register, he was relieved to drop everything on the belt thing. Glancing back at Alex, he began to pull his card out and got ready to pay. "Would you like a bag?" Asked the cashier. Sky didn't throw a look her way, instead he simply said "Yes, please" as he stared down at the debit machine. Once everything was paid for and bagged, he grabbed the bag and threw a glance at Alex before he started to walk out of the store.

Alex caught the look that Skylar gave him and raised a brow. He took note of the playful face of disgust that crossed his expression and narrowed his eyes playfully in response. "Wow. Okay. Didn't realize I brought a candy snob with me today." He said, his voice light and very clearly playful despite the air of playful offense he was showing. Biting back a laugh Alex moved to cradle the pack of Twizzlers as if they were some incredibly precious thing to him. "They deserve better than your judgment." He added before he started walking, moving towards the front of the store so that they could check out. As he did so, a smile was tugging at his lips though he was doing his best to fight it. When they reached one of the checkout counters he set his things down and threw a glance towards Skylar. He honestly would have been perfectly fine with paying for everything but was stopped before he could even offer when he saw Skylar retrieving his card and paying for the items once they were scanned and bagged. "Thanks." He said as he turned his gaze to the cashier. He gave her a thankful smile and moved to follow after Skylar.
