Mine usually have two parts to their names. They're usually collocations, and I like it a lot (:

Most of mine are named after random words I hear in a song I'm listening to. Some are named after their markings, and sometimes just completely randomly.

Ooh, I'm excited about this! I'm new so I haven't had a chance to name any of my pups yet but my current plan is to have the first syllable of the father's name, then the first syllable of the mother's name, a hyphen, and the pup's given name ^^ So with my alpha male, Nox, and my alpha female, Runa, their pups will be named something to the effect of Nox Ru-______, and my other pregnant female, Lucia, will have pups named Cai Lu-______, and eventually, when Omnis grows up, she'll have pups named ____ Om-______ and so on.

It's slightly inspired by the Korean/Chinese generational naming system (emphasis on slightly; the real system is different in almost every way), which I think is the coolest thing ever, so I'm really excited for these pups to get here :D Other than that, the names I choose are pretty much just latin-sounding ones, haha. We'll see if I stick with it once I'm a little better acclimated to the game!

I usually make up my own names or use names from books I'm writing. ^^

I usually name wolves after Stranger Things characters.

I don't exactly have a theme, but sometimes I like to name my wolves after a word in an old language such as Nanook means Polar Bear in Inuit I think, and another wolf, Arya, means noble in sanskirt.

Everyone's ideas seem cool! Meanwhile, I don't really have a theme. I just try to think of names right off the bat. For example, since I play the violin, I named one of my wolves Rosin because he reminded me of it somehow. xD

I like that name, Winterbirch! I don't know, maybe I just like the violin too much myself, but it just sounds really good for some reason ^^

I just use mythological names and the offspring of the wolves will have the same name as the offspring of the mythological being ^^
