He stood up fast, coughing. "What?! We-we're having-pups?! That's amazing! Oh Night!" His head snapped around as he heard a loud crack. "What was that?" His ears flattened.

Nightingale - F - Wolf - M: Sparrowhawk, Ace

I snap my head up at the noise in the brush. "Sparrowhawk, what was that?" I say, institinctly covering Sparrowhawk's side that faces the noise. My nose picks up a familiar scent, Ace. Ace? "What?!" I yell at the bush. "What do you want?"

Oops I say to myself and back again but step on another twig what is with these twigs I think and lay down look at Sparrow through a bush." He's angry." I say to myself

His silver eyes shone angrily as he realized who it was. Ace. That pesky eavesdropping mutt! He growled, a low, deep, threatening sound. He sank into an attack crouch, facing the bush. "You have ten seconds to explain yourself, or I'm going to shred you." He said, in his calm, deadly tone. He was so mad that he wasn't even yelling. He was just ready to attack.

I leap to my feet and forget what I just told Sparrowhawk. I walk forward, nose breathing in the stench of Sparrow's brother. My stomach grumbles and I push it down. Why was Ace invading on this conversation. "Ace, come out. Sorry if I scared you." I say to the wiggling foliage. I wag my tail to show I mean no harm.

"I'm not gonna tell anyone but they will find out soon enough Night." I say and go on the floor submissively." Sparrow hey hey cool down I won't tell anyone but they will find out." I stay laying down

He stayed silent, except that low growl. Then, he spoke. "Why. What made you think that you could follow me and my mate to a private conversation?" He waited, taking a breath to calm down, but he was so, so mad. Why did Ace have to keep doing this? He growled.

"I wasn't following you I was gonna go get food for the group but I found you two out here and I was gonna talk to you guys to see if you wanted to help but then you looked surprised and I got nervous. Sorry for intruding but I need to know this stuff being your brother and all these pups are gonna be my family to." I say and jump on a tree branch far away from the raging Sparrowhawk

I am sure Ace meant no harm, but following us? This is starting to get on my nerves. But I intertwin my tail with Sparrow's and calm down. Ace is right. A pudgy belly would not be hard to spot. Ace has already grown on me though, so I stay silent to hear what he and Sparrowhawk have to say.

He pressed his shoulder against Night's, snarling at Ace. "You have intruded on every SINGLE conversation I try to have with my mate. And, although these pups will be your family, that doesn't mean that me and Night have to tell you as soon as we find out." He followed him, his muscular body lithe and tense as he glared up the tree.
