Cherry Dove | 5yrs | Baryonyx |
....
The salt water slowly rising into her face, sand surrounding her body and brisk wind opening her eyes with the smell of the forests and meadows.
Small crabs were picking her shedding scales off, showing a more vibrant aray of her colours underneath. She lazily dragged her head across the sand to look at how far these small little lives have gotten and she was rather impressed. Standing slowly, some crabs falling back to the ground from being stuck on her. In her claws lay the reminisce of a very dead and mostly eaten catfish she had caught. Dropping the carcuss down for the crabs as a thankyou for their service to her while she got sun bake sleepily.
Not everyday was like this, food, sleep and a very nice body scrub.
Sometimes it was a lot harder, especially now that most of her species had dissapeared. Shed known a few Baryonyxs that roamed other swamps, lakes and oceans close and far away. But they never had what it took to sway Dove. She had more inclination to swat the rowdy males then have children. It was hard, not having babies, something to keep her bloodline going. But she was too proud for a mate.
She slumped into the ocean, eyes narrowing as she searched for her den opening. Her den was underwater that led to an underwater cave that was an airpocket of sorts. Shed dissapeared behind the rocks, during the day was time to sleep. Once it got dark it was her turn to be the hunter of these lands.

Buckshot | 6yrs | Albertaceratops
...
The day time was peaceful, mostly. Further north Buckshot had a bit of a situation. A meduim sized carnivore was stalking him by the overhung branches of a willow tree. Buckshot was grazing the small, sweet grass and flowers that grew all over. He did know of this carnivores spot of choice but he was not intirely sure of.. what it was. He shook his crest and horns to get rid of the flys that swarmed around him in the heat. The carnivore crept closer behind the bull. It was a Allosaurus. A new sub adult to the area, unskilled but eager for his first meal. This Allosaurus was a little to eager, lunging forward and taking a very hard and leathel hind kick to the head, neck and arms. Buckshot turned to see his attacker and the Allo had slid across the ground and was struggling to get back up. Once it got back to its feel it took off as fast as his feet could carry him. Buckshot turned the opposite way, shaking his head again and walking to a different location.
