You place the fish in the cage, wiping your hands off on a leaf. Then you wait, listening. You hear the waves on the shore and some distant bird calls, and the rustling of the forest behind you. But nothing comes to snag your fish. You wait until a wave steals it out the the cage, sigh, and continue on.
