You investigate the strange vine. After further studying it, you realize it is a long tail. Something you find out after following it up enough with your eyes to see the face staring down at you. It looks like a tropical dragon species!

You climb down to investigate the buffalo herd in the distance. The bison raise their heads and snort at you. Then they go back to eating once they decide you aren't much of a threat.

You sneak closer to the ducks, trying to find one close enough for you to catch. When you are ready, you jump forward and manage to get a hold of one, but it soon escapes, leaving you holding only feathers.

You quickly get out a melon and meat chunks and hold them up for the dragon. Surprizingly, it reaches its slender snout down and grabs the melon. Although, it struggles almost to the point of embarrassment as it tries to get to the fruit. Finally, the melon drops to the ground and cracks open. Without a second thought, the dragon half hops, half glides down and digs in.

You place a bait cube down on a sunny rock where you will remember it. Hopefully nothing steals it.

You stuff the feathers in your bag and continue along the lake shore. Most of the wildlife seem to be enjoying the frigid waters rght now. You even spot a family of foxes hunting ducks. They vanish into the rocky bushes when they see you.
