Deciding to take a closer look at the nest , you get closer that it looks like it's relatively new and seems.. warm ? It must still be in use and the hybrid must be close by. You see paw prints leading away from the nest.

As Crome handed you your bait at the entrance to the underwater caves, she gave a bit of advice.
" be careful down there , the caves are mostly underwater but they have air pockets you should be able to breathe in, others just have pockets of water in them "

Nodding your head in appreciation you set off into the caves, as you make your way down deeper into the caves, you come across a split in the tunnel. One path takes you deeper into the underwater parts of the caves the other stays level with a river running through it

A: go into the depths of the underwater caves ?

B: take the side path that has the river?

you take a breath and dive into the pool of water to go deeper. As you make your way through the tunnel you see something dart past you and up though an opening , you also see something moving around further away from you.

A: check out the opening?

B: see what the something is ?

Staying close by , you keep an eye out for anything. A few minutes pass , and the fog starts to get worse. Then you hear rustling from the bushes close to the nest. The hybrid steps out from the bush, it growls at you but it looks like it's curious about you

B: approach it carefully ?

C: wait and see if it comes to you ?

Taking a breath from one of the air pockets , you dive down to see what was ahead of you. As you get closer you begin to make out a few shadows, but as you move closer one of the shadows moves away and disappears into a tunnel to the right. You also see a few claw marks on the tunnel walls in front of you going forward.

Do you ?

A: follow the shadow to the right ?

B: follow the claw marks?

C: go back?
