Garvin used to be able to drive, kind of. In theory. He knows what everything does, he just doesn't know the rules. Like, he knows how to hotwire and he knows how to drive. He doesn't know the laws or what signs mean or basically anything going on outside of the car.

Technically, he still knows how to. Given how shitty his vision is by the time they'd have a car though, probably no one wants him behind the wheel.

So... Yeah. He still knows his way around cars though, quite well. He's better at fixing manuals, but he can figure out any type really. Perks of having worked for a couple mechanics here and there. And perks of people not wanting to have to call someone to get stuff fixed.

The polycule may end up with a totally new car if they allowed Nico to work on their car, and I'm not entirely sure whether that would be a good or bad thing XD

Garvin would totally teach Akira if they want to learn. But, only, like. Small repair stuff. Garvin isn't quite ready to lose something that he could potentially use to bargain just yet. Can't kick him out if they still need him for major repairs, haha

Same goes for other stuff Garvin knows how to do that the others don't. Electrician shit, sewing, just literally anything helpful that he knows how to do that they don't- He won't stop them from learning how to do it, of course. And if they really want him to teach them then he will. He just... It's a whole other can of worms.

Revan doesn't know cars much at all. He doesn't really want to know cars. He doesn't really like cars.

Akira will be fine with literally whatever. They honestly don't care too much, they'll mostly just think it's good idea for at least one other person to know how to basic stuff in case of an emergency or some shit, lol

I will say, both Nico and Ingall know how to sew already, though neither do it much. Probably even less when they pick up on the fact that it seems to be something Garvin enjoys. Though, to be fair, Ingall's not very good at it anyway, he mostly just knows the basics because Maya liked to sew-

Nico's good, it's just not his first choice of fun activities, so Garvin probably wouldn't even know he knows how to sew for quite a while XD

Garvin's quite good at sewing and he fucking loves to sew. He's never really sewn with actual sewing supplies though. It's all improvised shit with him.

He doesn't sew nearly as much as he would want to either. Mostly because he only does it when he needs to, when he has time, and when he has supplies. All three have to be met for him to sew. And then the issues that show up after the Andi Arc make it harder to sew too, so he stops doing it as often because of all that too.

The first time he sees anyone sew, it's going to be an odd experience. It's something that's incredibly tied to the pirates, specifically Flood, and it's something he's so passionate and strict about when he gets to sew himself that he'll probably just end up watching them sew while also trying to seem like he isn't watching them sew.

Garvin knows sewing and stitching though, mhm. He's got all of it down, no worries.

Honestly, the second Nico figures out how much Garvin enjoys sewing, they'll probably coordinate with Revan to buy more sewing supplies and then ask Garvin if he'd be willing to make something, you know, so he has reason to do what he loves because they'd honestly probably understand the situation pretty quickly, lol

Also, I'd say Garvin is still better than Nico because of how little Nico does it, so that'd probably be their excuse for not doing it himself, lmao
