It is clear from the first time that you meet this man that he isn’t from the typical family.. Perhaps it's the way he always looks serious walking down the street as if he owns it,, or the fact that he never leans on anything but it is clear that he doesn’t belong. The first thing that many people notice when they see Adam is his deep blue eyes that are often found in his homeland of Austria. He’d strike you as a business man in his neat attire that never has a button out of place, or even a car salesman from the way he flashes a warm smile at you when speaking as if he is trying to sell you something. His cologne is uniquely his, and it lingers like the ghost of him, letting those behind him in a chase know that he was already there. It is one of those that if you smell it when you aren’t around him you will begin looking through the crowd for him.
His hair can’t decide if it is a dark blonde or a light brown, and it depends on the lighting. In the summer it gets lighters, developing natural blonde streaks in it. It is well kept, and naturally wavy that he uses to his advantage as he does it every morning. Grooming waves into it isn’t hard since that is already what it does on its own. He takes pride in his public appearance and this includes that his hair is very rarely messy. Even if he is running late, it’ll be done. His fringe will never fall over his eyes unless it’s behind closed doors. He’ll rub you as the person that stops to admire himself in the mirror before a shower, and he does, no shame about it.
He is at the age where he has fully matured into his face. He is no longer boyish, and is instead could be described as handsome. No longer the fleeting childish grin but a playful, lopsided smirk that has replaced it. His jaw is squared, and his eyes hold a smoldering anger behind them that never seems to go away, no matter how much he smiles. His black eyelashes are long, and oftentimes getting into his eyes causing pain so he can be found often trying to ensure that they don’t get into his already sensitive blue eyes. His smile is cold and distant, even if he is joking with you. Light brown freckles cloud his face, but they aren’t too noticeable aside from those on his nose.
Adam is always out of the house well dressed. He walks around reeking of riches, dressing like the old money that his bank account holds. In the rare instance that he isn’t in a suit, he is in dark clothes, oftentimes a dark hoodie and slacks. He has a small left lobe ear piercing that always has a small round Black Opal earring on it. On his right wrist is a tattooed chain that wraps around it, but at the underside of his wrist it is broken, representing the chain on the flag of his homeland. On his right shoulder blade is a detailed white edelweiss flower.

Personality
Adam isn’t the easiest person to be around with his cold demeanor and permanent scowl on his face. He is uptight, and strict. This man takes orders very seriously, and he rarely steps a foot out of line. In this sense, he is easy to have as an employee. He gets the job done in a timely fashion with very little to no hiccups to his plan. He has a serious work ethic but tries his best to work with everyone. He isn’t going to drag someone down but he expects someone to pick up with their own work.
He doesn’t like to have his space invaded, and he expects his boundaries to be respected. Communication is important to Adam, as the way he sees it, every relationship either work or personal needs to be able to talk, he isn’t a mind reader. He is pragmatic and every work and move that he makes is well calculated. Life to Adam is like playing chess, you need to have the best strategy to win. There is no time for losers who lag. He is a person that you can rely on in any situation.
Because he is well thought out, he tends to be a step or two ahead of those that he is working against. He has a great attention to detail that you would often find in a different field of work. He remembers the little things about a person that they’d slipped into a conversation. He remembers everyone else's birthdays, and knows what kind of flowers they’d like for it. He never gives flowers (Or any other kind of gift) to the person face to face, but instead will leave it at their front door without a letter, after all, his sloppy handwriting can be spotted a mile away.
While he is reserved in a conversation when it comes to himself he is friendly and talkative, always trying to bring those around him up, supporting them and always offering to help. He is loyal to no end and would jump off a cliff for a close friend. There is also a deep appreciation in Adams' heart for classic art. The Renaissance period is his favorite and on his days off he can be found sitting for hours at a museum looking at art.
One thing that is very rarely seen is the fact that he is a hopeless romantic. You don’t look at the man and guess that he is. In a romantic relationship, he is quick to communicate, and tends to shower his loved one with affection behind closed doors. However, the minute it’s in any spotlight he won’t show those same emotions unless he is certain that this is the one.
Voice & Accent
Many people’s first thought is that he is German because of the close resemblance that Austria and Germany have, after all, they were once a part of Germany. As he speaks he has a soft Ch sound and he tends to swallow his final consonants. Although his voice is deep, it is smooth and could be described as melodic. He still tends to get confused and write or speak with umlaut even when he’s no longer in Austria. When he gets angry, his voice tends to break. It’s not to be mistaken for a voice crack however.
Strengths (personality wise)
Courageous
Adam has courage that is rarely found in humans. Perhaps it's the fact that he doesn’t really feel fear, or maybe it’s that nothing is scarier than his mother on a bad day. He’d be the first one to rush to a fire to put it out, and he isn’t intimidated by much of anything. Some creepy clown is standing in a dark alley? He’ll go right up to the clown to examine it. He can’t decide if it's stupidity or courage.
Attention to Detail
Adam has an incredible eye for detail, either in art or in the life that moves around him. He can be walking on a busy street and stop because he noticed a small speck of blood. If someone as much as blinks too fast in his wake he will notice it. This has something to do with the fact that he reads into body language since that is such a hard thing to fake unless you’ve practiced for years. He can read a room, and many of the people standing in the room near him. The face is the mirror to one's soul after all.

Weaknesses
Fear of Failure
For a man in his line of work, Adam finds it hard to deal with those times that he has failed to do what he was told to do. It keeps him up at night in a cold sweat thinking of what he should have done differently. This fear also bleeds into his personal relationships, causing him to be emotionally distant out of fear of letting his partner down. He doesn’t like to feel weak, or to need reassurance, so without the support that he won’t allow into his life, this is a large struggle for the man.
People pleaser
Adam has the lovely habit of always putting others first. Someone needs help moving? Oh he'll be there even if he just got home and needs to unpack. If someone asks him to do something he drops everything personal to do it.
Too loyal
Loyalty is a good trait to have, but it can go too far. Once you have won the Austrian over, you will have his trust for life. It doesn’t matter how much you stomp on him, or how much you hurt him, he’ll stand by you. It’s a dangerous game to be this loyal to someone since his very clear boundaries become blurred for this person. It’ll leave him feeling hurt but he won’t implement the boundaries out of his deep loyalty for said person.

Backstory
Adam comes from a prestigious family who has had quite the success in a wide variety of sports. His father was recruited out of high-school for the MLB where he had a successful career in America. His grandfather was a successful golf player and so on. He was born and raised to be athletic and hardy, but there was constantly someone breathing down his neck to do better, to just be the best.
He grew up in a marble manor in the summers in the peaks of Austria and in the winters in his family's private ski resort running up and down the slopes all day. At both homes he had his own skate rink to practice at. He hadn't been aware that not everyone had the luxury until he was 15. After that realization he started moving away from his family, going to the public rinks more often just to skate around others. From there he was scouted and started his career in hockey.
His lifestyle
Adam has made quite the splash in the hockey world not just from his bloodline but his talent. He is great at his job and he knows it. You can praise him and he'll just smile at you because he knows it's true. While he knows he is talented and he appears to be cocky about it he has the habit of being his own worst enemy and standing in his own way. He got 7 goals? He fumbled the puck and passed it to the other team. He'll focus on what he did poorly and that leads him to spiral into feeling like he is a shit player. “I don't know how to play.” Is something you'd hear him say often when he makes a mistake.
He has a pent house in the town of Vienna right along the river. This is where he is found if he is visiting his home country during the season. Adam has another house in his name in Hallstat that glistens on the lake edge where he spends his off season. His third housing is a modern apartment in Milan where he stays when they are training. He has different cars in all three locations but his wardrobe is basically the same.
He loves to wander the cobblestone streets of all three places he lives, visiting Cafes and staying out late in the vibrant cities just existing happily within the other people on the streets. He strolls the museums casually often and tends to be carefree on his off days. The nights that he knows he'll have the next day free you can find him at a club, partying it up to so that he recover the next day and get back to work as soon as possible.
