Jasiri shifted on his paws, glancing back at Ivy. The brown lioness scrutinized the intruder, obviously wondering if it is a good idea to accept another lion into their pride.

"And on the day of the feast", Jasiri thought, "How unlucky can we be?"

Ivy

Ivy, after a moment of thought, roared, a signal for any nearby leaders to come over.

She slowly approached the stranger, and Jasiri backed away. She stopped when she was 2 metres away from him.

"What is your reason to join us?", she growled, suspicion growing. He could be bad news, especially with the fact that he was lurking around their lands, spying on them, as he boldly announced. What if he was working for some coalition? Or even for a pride? Although a lioness would've joined them instead if that was a case.

Ivy flicked her tail subtly, a sign to the group behind her to disperse, to not allow the nomad to run into their territory if that was his plan.

Siku

Siku perked his ears, as a distant roar sounded.

"That is one of our lionesses", he gasped, and turned to Ajihad, "But there is also a strange smell. Maybe it comes from where the lionesses are?"

great I don't know where we are going and let's just hope we aren't near a lion pride territory

So what you are say we are basically lost

Zypher smirked a bit at the female who approached after the male did. "Being a nomad, it's lonely" he said before he circled her, eying the female carefully. He could tell she was older than him, but that wasn't an issue. When he was back where he started he looked back at the other lionesses he saw before he looked at the male again. "I'm assuming you of all lions know being a nomad can be lonely."

Ivy growled warningly, as Zypher started to move. She was sure that her group made the formation at this point, so wasn't that troubled that he would manage to escape.

Her heart jolted at his last phrase. Memories flooded into her head: being constantly hungry, chased out of taken territories, sleeping dreamless nights, scared of being suddenly ambushed. Her fear over her son's future...

"I don't know what you mean by that", she lied stiffly. She disliked this lion even more. He just tried to use empathy as his weapon.

Jasiri glanced at others, understanding Ivy's tail signal. He moved to the far right, ready to block the nomad's path to their land.

Nyasi

Nyasi perked his ears up. Was that... his mother roaring? Everything is fine, it's just a normal nomad encountering maybe. Maybe. He pawed at the ground, his tail flicking nervously.

(Zypher said that last part to Jasiri, since he's a male. Sorry that wasn't clear)

(OH, oops. Jasiri ain't a nomad, he grew in the pride, Siku is the ex-nomad, welp, shall we edit or leave it?)

(Zypher wouldn't have known that. He would have assumed a male was a nomad at some point, if he isnt a ruler of a pride)

(k gg, I shall save situation by embarrasing Ivy. TAKE THAT IVY. Oh and as I am rereading, I suddenly understand I may may not be dyslexic)

"Uh, I think he was talking to me", Jasiri coughed, then coldly looked at the nomad, "So no, I don't relate to your sad life. I grew up with a family, and understood the importance of a pride".

Ivy

Ivy bristled from embarrassment, then felt annoyed at Jasiri's response to the stranger. She was also born into a pride. She always found Jasiri weird: he always had a weird hostility to nomads. He was even cold to her back when she was a nomad. She couldn't help but glance with annoyance at him, hoping he wasn't serious.

At the same time she was wondering how Opal and Reyla were holding up. She felt sorry they had to stumble upon an annoying intruder on their hunt. "Damn, where are the leaders when you need them?", she thought.

Oooooooooooh my goodness! I have not been on Wolfplay in ages! And still noone responded to the roleplay, so I assume it is the end 😂. I've always wished to write my proper thanks and farewell for this roleplay!

This was honestly my first ever roleplay I attended when I started Wolfplay. I didn't know I was so lucky to get into such roleplay of high quality, and for it to start and continue for so long.

My many congratulations to Sir Frogginton for such successful roleplay!

And saratank! It was great to meet you! Although, we did have a rocky start, with me being idiotic in my own way. But I am glad we have ammended our situation and quickly become one of the three active users of this roleplay (alongside Sir Frogginton).

I've tried to find other roleplays like these, but so far no success! This was a memorable experience!! Thanks to you all ❤️❤️❤️.
