I've been battling for a while now, and still have no idea what the numbers on vitals/battle moves actually mean. I know it has to relate to amount of damage done, but I can't find a pattern for it. For instance, my alpha female has +5 blizzard vitals, and she can do 33 damage in a blizzard even though she only has 277 BE and usually only does 25 damage. And most my wolves do either 23 or 25 damage even though they have a wide range of differing BE. At which battle moves/ BE amounts does your wolf's damage increase? How much +(insert number) do you need to increase your battle damage by one point?
