Thing is, for WolfPlay sake I just might have to rework them. Originally, the character gradually starts to get upset about hearing and reading people mistreating wild animals, or really animals in general. But they also actively start to seek out these horrid stories online, this soon becoming something they've slipped into their routine, them being a night owl they particularly choose to spend their nights like this. Until they get fed up and snaps. This happens after someone underground leaks their location, their location which houses expensive snake venom, anti-venom and various snakes.
They leave one night for a event leaving a dear friend of theirs to house-sit, a group thieves decide to sneak in to take what's not only basically their life's work but possibly their scaly companions. But the OC ends up backtracking, getting a call from their friend that people are in the house.
When the OC arrives back, the thieves are still there and they tell their friend whose hiding to call the authorities. What happens is one of the thieves got bit by a snake that got out of it's cage after they accidentally dropped it, they don't know if its venomous or not but they assume as such, the sounds of panic in the back of the OCs house leads them to the group. A fight breaks out, some vials holding venom and anti-venom get broken after the OC gets thrown into an entire rack full of them. The now combined substance all over the OC.
Police come, blah... blah... and blah happens. OC survives, I'm thinkin' they develop resistant to natural venom, due to getting the mixture of venom and anti-venom somehow getting inside their body, perhaps the broken glass of the vials stabs them and the obvious happens. More blah happens, this is already long enough as it is but bada bing bada boom, Black Mamba is soon born. With high tech claws that has vials of snake venom inside, being able to poison their foes. Black Mamba sets out to track people known to have purposely mistreated a animal, basically Hellbent on fighting violence with more violence. They're seen as a villain to the majority, but they see themselves doing the work that should be done. Thinking that they're doing no wrong, bringing justice to innocents just like a superhero supposedly would do.
I legit watched a bunch of videos about jerks last night, some of said jerks had done jerky things to animals then I thought of a big fat, "What if?" and here we are now. I feel like it needs more thought put into it, though. :P
