Name: Celine {Cell-EEn} Age: 7 Months Gender: Filly/Female . Breed(s): Mustang Herd: The Tewa Herd Ranking: Filly . Appearance: Celine takes after her mother in a variety of different ways. She has the same elegance in the strides she takes, so she's somewhat purposely trying to look like her mother. As far as her body structure goes, she isn't built for brute strength, but built in a lean and agile way. She stands shorter, at just under 13 hands, and will only grow to be about 15.2 hands. She weighs approximately 450 pounds, while her long legs make her look slightly gangly as she walks. Her coat coloration is a lightly colored palomino with white dapples across her sides. The upper side of her neck, her chest, and her knee joints are a darker shade of that same palomino. Her muzzle is a dark brown that slightly fades towards the nostrils, making her look as if she dipped her snout into chocolate. Her eyes are doe-like, big, and brown with light lashes framing them. Her mane and tail are soft, nice, and light blond. Her voice is quite annoying, with a higher pitch, and a squeaky and whiny tone. Personality: Celine is quite an interesting young filly, but in some ways, not so great. This young mare is usually calm and respectful, however, when she gets impatient, she can turn into the most rude, pushy, and annoying child. She's a very social filly, looking everywhere for conversations and ways to help. Her unrealistic outlook on life makes for a creative and imaginative soul. However chatty she may be, she's reliable and won't tell a soul if shared a secret. Celine is a natural leader and is often the cause of the rambunctious activities the foals get into. M A R A Age: 4 Gender: Mare Breed: Mustang, though there is a good bit of quarter horse in her lines Herd: Tewa Rank: Legionary Desired Rank: Content Credits to Alla-equi on DA for images. Appearance Mara is a tall, lithe creature, standing around 16.3 hands and sporting long legs, a slightly arched neck, and a refined head. Her movements are smooth and seem to be drawn out, almost slow motion at times. Each stride shows off powerful musculature that is well-balanced with her more elegant features. Her ebony coat is short and sleek; it has a healthy sheen to it during the warmer months and becomes a little duller as her winter coat thickens it overall. A small snip and the faintest hint of a star are the only white markings on her body. She is well-proportioned, not too lanky or burly. Mara's build pairs well with her confident, graceful movements, and she sits at a happy medium between brute force and speed or agility. While she cannot claim to blow anyone out of the water in either regard, she is certainly capable of holding her own for any of them. Obviously, a stallion would have to be quite young or in rough shape for her to win a physical battle, but she would give most mares a run for their money-- not that she is big on instigating violence. Her expression is usually a calm, knowing one with a subtle aloofness to it. It is not unfriendly, per se, but it is certainly not inviting, either. She lacks the appearance of maternal warmth that some other mares radiate, instead replacing it with a cooler, more curt one. This is not to say she is lacking in the maternal department -- she just doesn't express her more endearing emotions as readily. Her expression shifts very little unless her emotions are more strongly felt. Her dark eyes are the window to her soul, but that window is usually shuttered. Personality Observant -- Stubborn -- Quick-Witted -- Intelligent -- Lower Energy -- Aloof -- Blunt -- Somewhat Patient -- Stern -- Family-Oriented -- Loyal? -- Takes No Crap While she may appear knowledgeable well beyond her years, Mara is still young and inexperienced, and she owns it. Her wisdom comes from following her elders, obeying commands, and observing outcomes of different situations. Her forte is watching with a calm, collected demeanor. She does not rise up in emotion as easily as other young horses, and she can hold her own in a battle of wits. Mara always dons a smooth expression, any emotion displaying in her eyes. Even then, her emotes are mild. Faint displeasure, for example, or a note of pride. It is extremely difficult to get a raise out of her, as she is quite good at deflecting comments or actions that she finds antagonizing. Despite this more languid base, she is not one to be run over. Her strength is a quiet one but it is there. Mara is the silent bearer of burdens, always ready to help her family through a hard time, and she will fight to the death to protect those she cares about. She is mostly loyal to her herd, though she may not always agree with decisions made, and she usually sticks to the rules. If she does bend or break them, it is mild and doesn't put others in danger. She does have an adventurous side to her as well, though it only really comes out around foals, who hold the dearest place in her heart. They are her favorite members of the herd, and she is always willing to play with them. Mara grew up too fast, as her mother died early on in her life and left her to fend for herself; playing around with the foals gives her a glimpse at what could have been and of what she wants for her offspring. Overall, this mare is wise and mature but lacks the power over others that comes with age. Mara is altruistic and charismatic, but she takes no nonsense and is not afraid to critique others for negative actions.
