Vincent smiled softly as he said "those are my favorite too. I love chocolate chip cookies." He realized that he had a lot in common with Sky. Vincent knew that she would always be his best friend no matter what and he made a vow to himself that he would always be there for Sky whenever she needed him. Vincent was happy as he began to help Sky with the ingredients for the cookies. Mark smiled as he heard her and he said "it is what I want but I am not sure if you want it or not. I don't want to push you into something you don't want." |

"Chocolate chip cookies are the best! I'm so glad we're able to make them together! Thank you for being here for me, Vincent," Sky said happily as she went over to him and they began to make the cookies together. Sky was extremely happy to be working with Vincent in the kitchen baking cookies and loved having him around. She knew that he would always be there to protect their family. "If that's what you want then I'm okay with it. I'll be happy to have another child with you, but I want to at least 6 or 7 years before I get pregnant again. I want Sky and Bruce to be able to grow up and be more independent. I also want to have plenty of time with you first too," Andrea explained to Mark as she put her head on his shoulder as she moved her arms to underneath his arms as she hugged him. |

Vincent smiled softly as he said "you don't have to thank me. I love being around you. You are my best friend and I love hanging around you." Vincent smiled softly as he was feeling happy. Vincent was helping with the cookies and he made sure that Sky felt important and he look at. Mark said "I understand that which is I was thinking about maybe 7 years would be better for when we do want another baby. I am just glad that we are together and I just hope that everything will be great in 7 years." He look at her. Mark hugged her. |

*7 years later* Sky was in 6 grade now and Bruce was in 2nd grade. Sky and Bruce had become quite close, but at the same time they were also distant since they were siblings. As Bruce got older, Andrea and Mark learned that he was losing his hearing, and now by the time he was in second grade, he had fully lost all of his hearing and was fully deaf. So, Andrea had the whole family and Vincent learn ASL specifically for Bruce so they could communicate with him, as Bruce knew ASL from his parents too. Andrea was in the kitchen cooking dinner for Bruce's birthday as she was making his special dinner with Mark. She looked at Mark as Sky was downstairs playing around with Bruce. |

Mark was glad to be helping with the dinner and he ask "do you think Vincent is going to be able to make it?" They had invited Vincent over for the party and he had bought a gift that Bruce had always wanted. Mark was just hoping that everything would be okay as he wanted them to feel happiness and know that they have someone out side of the family who would protect them. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Mark was confused on who it was. Mark ask "do you think it's Vincent?" Mark was unsure but he was helping Andrea with the food. |

Andrea was smiling as she was working with Mark in the kitchen to make Bruce his "special" dinner for his birthday. Bruce wanted chicken wings and rice and brussel sprouts for his birthday, so that's what they were making. Andrea heard Mark and said that she felt that he was going to make it. When she heard the knock on the door, Andrea went over to the door and opened it. "Hello, Vincent," Andrea said as she let him in and Bruce came running over as he loved Vincent too. *Vincent!* Bruce signed happily to Vincent as he hugged him. |

Vincent said "hey Mrs. Ruffalo." He went inside the house and he saw Bruce. Vincent signed *Hey Bruce.* He hugged Bruce back as he was happy to see him again. Vincent did not see Sky and he thought that she was probably hating him but he decided not to let that ruin Bruce's birthday. Vincent signed *I got you a gift Bruce.* He was hoping that Bruce would like the gift as he knew that Bruce would always point at it whenever they were out together. Vincent was looking at Bruce as he was feeling happy to be invited to the party. Vincent was smiling happy. |

Sky came out after Bruce did as Bruce was paying more attention to Vincent and stopped playing with her. Sky wasn't mad though or upset about it. She saw Vincent and smiled as she said hi to him. *You got me a gift? Really? Thank you!* Bruce signed back as he was happy to recieve a gift from Vincent. He didn't know all sign language since his parents wouldn't teach him the super hard words or bad words yet, but Bruce was okay with that since he was still young. He looked at his parents, but Andrea signed to Bruce that he would have to wait till after dinner to open his presents, since that was always how they did things on people's birthdays. Bruce nodded and sat down at the table with Sky as Andrea closed the door behind Vincent and went back to finishing up dinner with Mark as dinner was close to being done. |
