Alright, well I've given up on getting pics up this week, and more will be coming Sunday. They're about a month and a half along right now, so not a point of any major changes.

The word for a goat's kid is "kid," so it's pretty simple XD (not even kidding, that's actually the word) For Catalina, this will be her 4th time being bred, this will be Destiny's 6th, and Stella's 5th. They were bred around the age of 8 months, so the number of times bred is how old they are. :) (8-10 months is around when a doe can be safely bred)

Of course, it decided to rain, so I couldn't get any pics. But I promise I will make myself go out and get some tomorrow, especially because I'm going to need a mental break after my final :')

Hurry, Aww, I'm sorry to hear that 😢 It's horrible when you put in the effort just for it to flop. I'm terrified for my human geography final, which is tomorrow. >.< ~~~ ~~~ Anyway, apparently... I lied. Heh. I took pictures today, though! I promise I did, it's just a matter of putting them on a host site then posting. OH, here's something EXCITING: We got news of a mountain lion sighting nearby, along the route that I take to walk Maggie (my heeler) once in a while. It's pretty close, and the man who saw it went to the houses of those who owned goats and warned us. I am grateful for that, because now I can be on higher alert. At least they don't have their kids, which would be a seriously easy target for a cat, but I'm still worried about my does. Anyway, I'll work on getting the pictures up (hopefully) tomorrow, and I will also pray my goats don't get eaten by a cougar. (The neighbors have smaller goats, so maybe the cat will go for them instead if it comes to our house. Okay, that's kinda evil, but still.)

I dunno I kind of sometimes burn myself by going through book and notebook and forgeting about papers-I mean they are all one and the same more or less, there is something extra somewhere sometimes and if I don't read it all then of course I can't get A <.< I get B and that's not horrible, but still could've been higher if I used my brain when it counted :'3 well, from mistakes we learn...I'll just ignore fact I have been in schooling system for over a decade :'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''') but those are different school so yeah, more or less okay, thou it's not nice to repeat mistakes especially simple ones made in hurry. I just have feeling the "higher" I go in education rules are getting harsher and expecations higher :/ and I'd like to go as far as I can, thou that feel of being surpassed is not nice and I just realized that year or so ago; that I have some limits other don't struggle with. Some peeps realize that sooner, not sure if that means their limits are lower..? I dunno I don't want to offend anyone thou schooling system test more then knowledge and does not determine smart from stupid-like how is me knowing some Latin better then person who can build house? House is better :3 Now I understand those who say they study a lot and do not as good on test-I though that if you know something you get A and that's it, turns out it's not as easy, my high school math test just smacked me with that fact :''') most stuff has ups and down but my math kinda has too many downs :') thou my school has advanced math, but still, most of my class is doing way better and with learning less and doing less tasks-I need to go throug some multiple times to get them, solve them and remember them otheriwise I forget the hell I should do with it. ----------------------------- Good luck with your tests :D I don't have finals yet thou they sound scary since I don't know how to train long term memory well yet :/ so having semester and whole book in one test instead of spliting it in 3-4 test sounds like a lot of work that I am not sure pays off..? ----------------------------- Cougar? Well, that's kinda concerning. Our country has wolves and sheeps XD fairy tale setting yeah, but people mostly care for themselves and not nature and why nature needs wolves despite people wanting to end them all ;-; thou our country doesn't care about people and most people are left to fend for themselves so its understandable where their fear comes from-they just want to survive too.

Well, I finally got the pictures. Sorry it took so long, y'all. I walked into the pen with apple slices, so I was kinda attacked, but it's all good, and I escaped with my life. They're all looking nice and chubby because they're eating more and growing in fluffier coats due to the cold weather. Also, just a fun fact about the apple slices, I had to cut the apples into apple slices because goats only have bottom teeth in the front of their mouths, and they need food, especially hard foods, to be mouth sized to avoid choking. Here they are. ~~~~ ~~~~ . . . . . . . . . . . Side note: If you look towards the left top corner, you will see a hole just inside the fence. This is because goats tend to dig into the ground a bit before laying down in a spot. I'm not sure why they do this, but they do. This hole in particular is so deep because it's a favorite spot of Stella's.

Sad news :( Stella came into heat today, which means she wasn't pregnant, and I most likely missed her last heat. I took her to get bred, though, and she and the buck took care of business real quick, so that makes me happy. :) Hopefully it'll take this time ^^

They are stelathy little robbers when it comes to food XD I finally memorised them, connected names with looks. They are all neat animals ^^ For hole digging it's like bed making for animals-I think all mammals do that (at least land ones). Kangaroos clear the ground and dig a bit before laying down, dogs do that too sometimes, people do it with their blankets. And you can make a hole too, put your hand in it and you'll notice soil is cooler then surface ground. Thou curled up positions help preserve body heat that's why cats like baskets. So animals can use hole in the ground in warmer, but also cooler parts of a year :3
