You leave the monkey alone and go search among the hanging vines. As you search, you begin to question why random generator doesn't seem to want to give you anything. Take now, for instance. You are searching the thick vines and finding nothing. Except for that moving vine. That might be something.

You investigate the moving vine and find that it is really a vine, but after following it along, you find the cause of the movement is a wolf trying to tug at it. The moment it sees you, the wolf drops the vine.

You wander around a lusher side of the mountain with grass, trees, and small scraggly bushes clinging desperately to the rocky soil after setting your traps. The plant life thins significantly further up, but maybe something will be hiding around here.
