You stay perfectly still as the wolf inches closer. The wolf continues to come closer until it is close enough to touch. There it stops and sniffs you while wagging its tail slowly.

You reach your hand out to the wolf and it slowly fills the gap between it and your hand. It doesn't quite come close enough to touch, but it does sniff your hand and then sneeze.

You reach your hand out to pet the wolf and it takes a step back. At first, it seems like it is going to bite your hand, but the wolf only mouths it lightly and then licks your hand. It doesn't seem to want pets very much, but it is rather playful.

You lean forward a little more to pet the wolf. The wolf flinches at first, then gradually allows you to touch and eventually pet it. It still seems wary of you, but not as much as before.

Sorry things have been going slow, just got back from vacation.

You play with the wolf until you both tire out. Though tired, the wolf refuses to lay or sit. It doesn't seem very wary of you, but it isn't relaxed either.

You continue stroking the wolf while attempting to slip a collar quietly around its neck without it noticing. The wolf twists its head around and pokes at your hand with its nose, trying to understand what you are doing. It doesn't try to get away or attack, though. In fact, once the collar and rope are on, it just freezes. It eventually seems to catch on and followed when you gently tug at the rope. Congratulations! You adopted a female wolf with a glow base coat! What would you like to name her?
