You head to the hills to search next and soon come upon a stream. It isn't very deep, but it is wide and flowing pretty fast

You move to lightly tap the coyote's nose, but it nearly bites your fingers off and then ducks back inside the den with growls and snaps to warn you off.

You search around and soon enough, you find a wolf lapping at the water. It makes a warning growl and watches you cautiously from the other side of the stream.

b~ Approach the wolf slowly
c~ Offer a meat chunk

You move the trap to a different spot and reset it. Hopefully here will have a better chance.

You move on to a flat area with sparse tufts of grass and bushes clinging to the rocky soil. You can't seem to find anything, though.

You hold a meat chunk out to the wolf, but the wolf turns around and slinks away.
