You release another mouse from the cage. Like the first, it doesn't get very far before something jumps out of the shadows and quickly eats it up. The wolf licks its jaws and looks up at you with a tilt of its head.

You search around the hills, but stop when you see a wolf drinking from a small pool nestled in a dip between two gentler hills. It hasn't noticed you yet.
