Also- Not sure what colors Nico would use for Garvin's because my man, while pinks and neutrals are his favorite, wouldn't actually tell anyone given how he is and all. So far all I know is probably the gold beads with black lettering lmao Or the white beads with gold lettering... Either one. Plus, also, favorite colors would've seemed to change with him a bit too anyways before the system is actually like, known about and all, so there's that too to think about. Between the two, they should be as helpful as anyone could be in this situation, at least. Kira will definitely end up hiding sharp objects and things, for good reason, and will also offer to rotate usage of their bed with Garvin from night to night so no one has to sleep on the floor consistently. And then argue with Garvin about it if he refuses because they're not about to let their bestie sleep on the floor for very long again, he's already done that enough.

Garvin opens the door to Nico and takes about two seconds to go from STRESS to very little stress. Is it because of dissociation? Yeah. He switches out and/or splits off very easily. So. Yeah.

Garvin is of course arguing that. And his biggest point is that he's used to sleeping on the floor, no problem, Nico can just take his bed and Akira can keep theirs. He's a-okay with the floor.

Just had this small idea for something before the Andi Arc, and before anyone in the polyship is dating.

Someone that's eventually in the polyship, I’m guessing Akira, they seem most likely to me, plus it would help with their standoffish behavior towards Devery that seems bound to happen, anyways—

Akira finds Garvin at Devery’s bar one night. And my guy is so obviously not okay. Why? Who knows, there could be lots of reasons. It doesn’t actually matter too much right now. What does is that, well, I don’t know what Akira, or whoever it is, is doing at the moment but at some point Devery sets down a glass that is obviously drugged. It’s not from him, of course, he’s just making sure it gets to Garvin. Who takes one look at it and then goes to drink it.

Now, again, I can’t actually say for sure how Akira’s reacting thus far and onwards but pretty sure they’re going to try and stop that. I mean, letting Garvin drink the obviously drugged drink doesn’t seem like something Akira would do. So, you know, Akira tries to stop him, maybe grabs his arm or says his name or however it is they try to stop him. And Garvin just- Garvin looks at them, for a split second, with this look. Like he knows. Like he’s aware and just doesn’t care. So Akira looks at Devery, because maybe Devery hadn’t noticed it was drugged somehow or something, because Devery’s Garvin’s best friend and obviously that must mean something as simple as keeping him from drinking an obviously drugged drink. But Devery just looks away and Garvin downs the drink. Because while Devery will become a barrier for Garvin eventually, that’s only once Garvin’s actually dating someone. Until then, Devery isn’t about to challenge the way Garvin does things. He can’t risk it.

And then there’s really only two options for Akira. Try to get him out of the bar or let him self destruct. At which point, if they try to get him out of the bar, it’s not actually all that easy. Because Garvin’s struggling the entire time, and he’s a pretty well known regular. So someone might be walking up to them, maybe even whoever the drink was from, not like they’ll know who that is though, either way- Someone might be walking up and asking if Akira’s bothering Garvin, you know, as a good regular that recognizes him would do. It’s not often that Garvin’s struggling against someone pulling him out of the bar, after all. Really, it’s only happened like- Once? Maybe? So, yeah, not often. Either way, Garvin’s response is, of course, telling whoever it is that walked up that Akira is bothering him, yes. So, you know, he’s self destructing quite a bit. And who knows where it goes from there, haha-

Anyways, I just think it’d be a fun scene that would let whoever it is that found him there have a glimpse into his extremely self destructive behavior/tendencies.

I'll take the floor, you and Pavo can have the beds. It's fine. I really don't mind. I've been sleeping on floors for what's basically my whole life, I can handle a few more weeks or however long it takes to figure all this out.

Turns out the person that's trying to keep Garvin from leaving isn't the guy that drugged the drink and is actually just someone that's honestly concerned because Garvin basically never fights someone leading him outside. Or maybe it is the person who drugged the drink. Literally who knows. I don't. All I know is Garvin is like, completely against Akira making him leave the bar.

Devery just knows what lines not to cross with Garvin, lest his friend decides to stop using his bar for that kind of stuff and only sticks to the ones that don't care what happens to him. The confusion and anger totally make sense though and would so help to set up how the two are towards each other before we get to the Andi Arc and July Arc and everything/anything else.

Garvin's literally so self destructive- Akira's going to be dragging him out and he's just gonna be likes- "Aw, man, I's was gon' get fuck'd... up."
