But the concept with Izanami, is that he's based off of Japanese goddess Izanami. However, I'm adding a little Midas twist, to where, everything he touches ultimately dies instead of turning into gold Like Midas touch. He's still a massive WIP, but that's what I've come up for him as a draft. I'm still trying to figure out his fimiliar the centipede tho. It'll most likely have to do with his wrong doings, how I'll integrate that? That i don't know yet (: @TIAPN

I like that! I remember vaguely hearing the myth of Izanami and Izanagi somewhere... It had something to do with a rotting corpse, I think? So maybe your character's centipede feeds off of the dead that Izanami provides and bonded with him with the knowledge that it'd be well fed, or maybe it gains a leg for every person Izanami kills or whatever.

Pretty much. Izanami resulted on an island after giving birth to a fire diety, and Izanagi, often interpreted as her husband went to go look for her and upon lighting a fire in the dark cave, he saw her decomposing/corpse like appearance and fled. He practically sealed her in there and broke their union, so that's how that tale goes lmao- and yo I thought about the 2nd one but just struggle to decide (,:

For some reason, I remember the place I heard the tale from saying that Izanami told him to wait for her and that she'd be right back and Izanagi lit the fire afterward, but I might just be blending memories together?...
