I love the idea of a god giving them such gifts because mayhem = entertainment. Hmm, it would be interesting if another God/Goddess created a prophecy only for the prick deity to create a fake prophecy and switches them. The mayhem deity could've entered the court, manipulated Marie into hiding it away, and declared those with gifts that they were heathens. Could he be the new head of the church? It would be an interesting side plot and it would be easier for him to control the masses with his new status. Perhaps the original prophecy has been sealed away in another location, and the Wolves can go on a mission to find it. However, the chaos diety persuaded the queen to send out capable knights to go after them and kill them. |

Yesss, exactly what I had in mind for mayhem hehe <3 That could actually work~ In the past, he had a falling out with a female goddess (she remained bitter about his attempt to kill her to his dismay), and has since attempted to tarnish everything that she does, or spoil anything that could ever benefit her. She was revered as a benevolent entity to mortals, but she was really quite the opposite in reality. I could probably tweak her, but I'm assuming the prick deity would be doing everything in his divine power to spite her if she infact did create a prophecy. I do like the idea of him having created his own false prophecy, manipulated Marie into safe-keeping it somewhere, and wormed his way into a higher status among the court and people in general. I can envision him as the new head of the church, and the more outrageous actions of religion lately would probably be the result of him simply looking for entertainment - I've got cult leader vibes from him lol. Now the fun part is figuring out the details of the prophecies, and which deity is responsible for the Others. Also, working on Marie's post next <3 |

Ah, his dynamic with Faust would be sooo amusing, especially when Faust's attempts to warn Marie against him go in vain. I could see him eventually threatening to expose Faust's real identity at a time that would place Faust between a real rock and a hard place too 👀 Perfecttt, such a good pet <3 |
