Regarding this that I never answered as I was fighting with my old computer.

Nightshade, Ember and Summer are foxes I always had without names. As for Chestnut? I'll see how he goes but I'm doubtful I'll keep him. Ember and Summer were in my last RP while this is Nightshade's first one.

It certainly works! It's fun finding something and then throwing ideas down for it because then you can flesh it out more later. I do something similar when making tabletop characters.
