Because you have no updated headshots/busts, I can't give you a price range for that, but I would definitely agree with Reddy about 1000+ for complex character art and complex backgrounds. Keep it up!
Thanks for your input! Leg anatomy seems to be a recurring problem so I'll make sure to improve on it. I will plan to make examples of headshots in the future as well. |

My advice would be to use good guide lines, it's extremly helpful to get the proportions right. You can get a photo of a wolf and draw in the guidelines, this way you will see which line is the longest and which is the shortest. It also helps you to see where the legs bend. Then try to use it in your drawing. If you feel like some proportions are off, simply flip the image in the opposite direction. You will see what's wrong right away. Another good thing is to take breaks, just look at it with fresh eyes. And most importantly, just keep drawing ;)

I think your style is very nice, I've always struggled drawing realistically because I developed a cartoony style early on. Don't change your art style! It's beautiful the way it is, no matter what. ^^ And don't be afraid to ask for a lot of currency for your art. Every piece is difficult and unique on its own, and it's worth way more than what anyone thinks or says.
