That's similar to what I have to say. Some people never advance to magic, but it's really a matter of you, I guess. I may be new to it all, but that much seems clear to me.

Yeah I would say the best way to start is to start collecting and researching. Books, youtube videos, websites. You can easily hurt yourself if you try to jump straight into spellwork and such, so it is best to start small. Meditation and tarot card reading are also good beginner tools to work with. Even just trying to work on raising and lowering energy or manifestation of small things can go a big way. And trust your intution - if you are being called to investigate a certain thing (like for me, looking into divination was huuuge) than go for it. If you truly have nowhere to start the best thing to do is start a book of shadows, or a place where you feel comfortable writing down all the stuff you are learning and are going to learn.
