Okay, I know I'm late to the flaws talk (I was doing Latin homework, I fuckin hate it) BUT I know a good piece of advice to writing flaws Extend your characters' strengths too far Confident? They're also cocky (Draco Malfoy) They're protective of their friends? They'd destroy the world to help them (Percy Jackson) Friendly? They give too many chances to toxic people (I think we all know someone like that) Empathetic? They don't like to hurt others, even if it means getting hurt themselves Smart? They overthink everything Strong-willed? Stubborn Always happy? Too optimistic when empathy is needed Protective? They shelter their friends and family too much |
