A lioness of beauty. Indlela's appearance is striking to many, with her slender, lean-muscled body and her small frame. Each pawstep she takes is graceful and silent, portraying her quiet, knowledgeable personality well. She weighs at 312 pounds, and reaches the height of 3 feet and 2 inches tall, an average size for a female. What truly makes her so thin and graceful is simply good genetics. Indlela's eyes are striking and magnificent, having a more brown color until the sunlight reflects off them, turning them into a beautiful amber color like that of a polished gemstone. When moonlight reflects off them, they turn into silvery pools that look like the gateway straight into her spirit, where her inner emotions and tears hide. Her eyes burn with confidence, and pride during hunts, especially as she slowly suffocates her victim with her powerful jaws and large teeth. Her bite force is approximately 750 psi, and her enlarged, canine teeth with a yellow hue assist her by penetrating tightly into her foe's flesh, allowing her to slowly kill them by asphyxiation. Her ears form a half-circle shape, being straight at the top and curved at the bottom. The inside of her ears is filled with fur to protect them. Her false eyes on the back of her ears never vanished with age. She has remarkably good hearing abilities, able to hear the smallest sounds like a gerbil scampering across the ground. Her nose is large and pink, fading into a black color when it starts reaching around her nostrils. Indlela's fur has a firm, prickly texture to it. Unlike the house cat's fur you normally feel, her fur is simply built to resist the heat of Africa's sun, and to blend in with her surroundings. More easily described, the texture and feel of her fur is similar to dead grass. Her coat's colors are absolutely gorgeous, with a orange tan color similar to the morning sun's rays, and creamy khaki and beige fur for her underbelly and her paws, and around her nose. The tip of her tail is a dark taupe color. Personality: "You think you can hurt my pride and my family and get away with it? Fool." Indlela turns the loyalty gauge to the maximum. Her pride is her family, even if not biologically related. Once she considers someone her family, they have her utmost protection at all times. She'll run ten laps around the earth if she had to for her family and friends. Her pride is her top priority, and only concern, and anything that could possibly be a danger to them, she will dispose of herself without a second thought. And if she doesn't succeed, she'll at least go down in a blaze of glory. Indlela's capability of keeping secrets without slipping up once is kind of intimidating in a way. She could be told the most horrible, atrocious secret ever, and be able to prance around as if she never knew a thing. And she's been told as many secrets as she's kept, and if you must know, is too many to count. This lioness has much mystery to her, and also holds other's confidential information... I felt like I used the word "secret" too much in this paragraph, so I went the technical sounding route... Anyways, Indlela holds information about herself and others in a safe locker in her mind, never to be spoken about again. Silence is the key. The key to the door that when opened, presents what you never would have discovered if you spoke. The path to the ground you've always wanted to stand upon. The guide to triumph. The North Star to mystery. Always. Stay. Silent. That's Indlela's mindset. She only speaks in the safe haven of her family, anywhere other than that, it's like talking to a brick wall of stubbornness and defiance. Her silence assists in conversations, hunts, fights, practically anything, simply due to the mysterious aura it applies. And that's what Indlela searches for, the aura of mystery. Indlela is selflessly brave. Her one true priority in her life is ensuring the safety of her pride. Cubs, are a goal. Her family, is her priority. She will do anything for them. She'll fight ten rogue males to prevent them from getting harmed. She'll hunt zebras until she's fatally exhausted if they're starving. She not afraid in the face of danger, or impending death, if she went through it for them. Her claws and teeth were built solely for defending and caring for her family, and if they were ever hurt under her watch, she'll feel guilt for the remainder of her life. Indlela is stubborn. The only time she ever speaks away from her family is when defending herself. Then, she lashes out like a crocodile from the lake. She bares her fangs and insults everyone (with pure nonsensical insults) who makes her upset, kind of like a small adult temper tantrum. She does have some anger issues sometimes, but when she's content, she's her normal, mute self. Indlela summed up in one sentence: "Pretty girl who is mute until someone triggers her." He is a brute when it comes to size, he stands tall at four feet tall. He weighs in at 214 kilos (around 475lbs) so he is definitely nothing to scoff at when it comes to size. He bears a muscular frame with broad shoulders and large, powerful paws. When he walks there is an aura of power and regalness that surrounds him. His limbs help him propel himself with such grace and power. His body of a golden-brown complexion, with it, looking lighter in certain lighting. You can see scars and wounds on his body, so one can infer that he is well acquainted with fights. When this male fights he fights with all he has and even if he's bloodied, battered and bruised he'll still find a way to stand. He has a large and luscious mane. The mane of a lion is their crowning glory. His mane is long and thick, with a mostly raven complexion. They say males with dark manes are attractive and are said to be catnip to the ladies. Why? His darker and fuller mane indicates that he's a healthy lion with plenty of testosterone, and serves as a warning to rivals; he won't go down without a fight. Even the browns and blondes on his hair are shades of dark brown, akin to that coffee brown. And the blonde strands are like that of wheat, so a wheaten blonde intertwined with the richness of the darker hues of brown. This male prides himself in his mane and does his best to make sure it is well-kept. He absolutely hates it when leaves and twigs get tangled up in his locks. He may be considered vain for wanting to look his best, but he just want his ladies to have something to feast their eyes upon. After all it would be rude for them to have to look at an ugly male all the time. This male has striking olive hued optics. They always seem to be flickering with amusement or holding some mischief in them. His eyes are highly expressive and are windows into his soul. When he's angry his eyes are stormy and cold, and his glare is one that can send chills down a lions spine. You can tell that this male is angry from the chilling aura that will radiate off of him and from the occasional twitch of his tail. When he's happy or in a good mood, one can see the light and twinkle in his eyes or if they soften when deal in with cubs or ones he loves. He is a rather charismatic and charming individual, being gifted with a silver tongue - his words gliding off his tongue like honey, sometimes tickling the ears of others around him. He has a rather persuasive effect when it comes to his words being able to subtly coax or persuade someone to do something that's to his advantage - not to mention he's rather skilled when it comes to giving speeches ; able to comfort and uplift others and give some semblance of hope, while simultaneously being able to rip someone to shreds for being incompetent, not doing something correctly or calling someone out on their bullshit. He's rather direct and to the point when the time calls for it, and he can be rather cruel and callous in his words if he finds himself disliking you or you've done something wrong. This male is also rather confident and sure of himself ; and also sure of his words , he's one to make a promise and do his best to keep said promise. One can say he's a rather skilled manipulator, able to tug and play with the hearts of others - knowing just how to use his words to get what he wants and how to tug just the right strings to push the buttons of someone else. Always operating from the shadows, and watching the show with malicious interest making power plays when needed - one wouldn't suspect him, after all he keeps his involvement in such things under wraps. Because how can he be a mastermind if someone knows who he is? He's one who enjoys drama, and is rather invested in the latest gossip and drama - hell, sometimes he might even stir up drama just for the fun of it or because he's bored. After all, it's a good source of entertainment and to see who would be good to use as a sort of pawn. This male is rather unassuming, one wouldn't believe he has such a side to him. Most would say that he's quiet, and keeps to himself mostly - always lingering in the background and not participating in events actively. Yet, they know when he does, this male does well - there is no question about his skill or hardworking nature, he can and will step up when needed, he just doesn't do it voluntarily. This male is highly observant - always watching and listening, it can be said that he knows everything about everyone, just from his observations and what he hears from others. He can be social, and when he is - many would agree that he's rather polite and respectful, always attentively listening to them and having some scarily good insight to some things. He notices and sees things that most don't, from the smallest gestures to the unspoken and lingering words between others, or even the slightest change in body language or behavior - he's adept at reading body language and behavior, and not to mention he can quite confidently deduce when someone is lying to him. It's hard to get things past him, it's just creepy about how he just seems to know things, sometimes even before others do. It can be said that when he's working, he's scarily focused - he is highly efficient and makes sure things gets done and will stop and nothing to make sure his results are nothing less of perfection. He requires total concentration, and when interrupted the person can expect to get an earful from him. It's not be noted that he's no slouch when it comes to hard work, and he will do his absolute best to achieve anything thrown at him, especially if it's a challenge and even if he doesn't win said challenge he will take the defeat with grace and learn from it. He's not a morning person, so most avoid him during that time as he is rather grouchy at that time and sometimes he's just plain grouchy for no particular reason. It can be said that are blindly positive get on his nerves and make him sick - and he does his best to avoid them. Many would say this male is highly intelligent, and some would even argue he's a genius. He is a quick thinker and fast learner, being able to accurately find a way out of a bind in a manner of seconds to minutes - depending on how fast a solution is needed. He is also able to learn and pick on things rather quickly, always looking to expand his knowledge and understanding of things and gain more experience in certain things - he's not above learning or asking for help if he doesn't know something or needs help, he may be a bit prideful but not to that extent. He is a rather calculated and strategic thinker, able to see things quickly and farther ahead than most - while they're playing checkers he's playing chess. Able to see possible moves of his opponents , and finding ways to use their own strengths and weaknesses against them . When someone thinks he's down and they've got him cornered, he'll come out of left field with some damage dealing move - it can be said it's foolish to get into a battle of wits with him because he most likely will win unless he finds his match and their is a genuine challenge. And he adores a good challenge, it gives him life - so bring on the challenge, and you better be a good challenge because he hates when they're boring and he will be annoyed if you aren't that much of a challenge to him. When comes to his speech, he can be polite and courteous - and all of the above. Being able to charm others with his eloquent and flowery speech, and impress them with his extensive knowledge as well. However, you will discover there is a more sarcastic and witty side to him. Full of snarky remarks and rather snippy comebacks, so just because he's kind doesn't mean he's not above getting into a verbal confrontation with someone and as you'll later find out a physical confrontation either . Now when it comes to anger, there is something eerie about this male - he doesn't get mad easily, as surprisingly he can be rather patient with others, however he does have limits to how much disrespect he'll take from someone. Now, most wouldn't know this, but this male is quite vindictive - he can and will hold a grudge for years if needed to and he's patient about exacting his revenge for it, but don't worry he's not one to hold grudges for petty or trivial matters. He has this almost chilling anger, one that just screams that you've fucked up, and their is this certain malicious look that he gets in his eye as well - his words won't become just threats, no, when you've invoked his ire - they become promises. And he doesn't yell when angry, which makes him even more unsettling - he will say the most heinous threat in the most casual and sweetest tone of voice, not at all giving the person a chance to process what he's said. He's rather cutthroat and bloodthirsty, one will never suspect it until they see him in a fight or on a hunt - their is a certain look he gets in his eyes when he's thrilled to shed blood and when you just know he's coming in for the kill, most would think he's wrong in the head because he can go from this bloodthirsty mode to being the calm and charismatic person that they know. But either way, when you challenge him to a fight and he's angry? You better expect to beg for your life and come out of it with a lot of scars, because he doesn't show mercy for those who challenge him. He will toy with your life, after all it will be in his hands because how dare you challenge him? And you expect him to lose? No, he'll show you the true meaning of terror, with a smile on his face as he rips your throat open. Most don't know, but he's not exactly loyal - he's only loyal when it serves him. After all, being blindly loyal doesn't get you anything good, especially when the person could change their morals and values on a whim to something you don't agree with. The moment something better comes along, he can be persuaded to change allegiances - however it's to note, that if he does find someone he truly respects then he would do anything for them, including kill if they so asked. So when he's loyal to someone or a cause, you better believe he will die for it - but it's rare to find someone to be so loyal to, maybe one day he'll find that person or cause for fight vigorously for, as of now he's still searching for it. When it comes to romance, this male is quite suave - able to entrance the ladies due to his charisma and gentlemen like behavior. He's always respectful of females and would never harm one, and he would be offended if you think he would do so, his father didn't raise a despicable male - he may have some questionable morals and values but even he wouldn't stoop that low, he's not that much of a monster . . . . sheesh. He is quite the flirt, being able to smoothly compliment females and charm them with both his words and actions ; flowers, romantic walks, cleaning their den, or even hunting for them. He will do his best to genuinely impress a girl he likes ; sure he flirts, but only his love gets the special treatment. When he finds his partner, you can expect that he will wholly be devoted to her - he will treat her as if she hung the damn moon and stars, she is his queen and he will treat her as such. She will never have to worry about him having straying eyes, because they will only be for her. While it may not seem like it, but if his mate ever cheated on him or was unloyal his heart would break . He's also a rather jealous and possessive creature, not appreciating if a male looks at his mate with less than honorable intentions and he is not above getting into a fight about it - and even if they're just courting, she's still his girl and he won't give her up without a fight. So in short he would be a loving and rather doting mate, she could ask for him to burn the world and he would find a way to do it since she asked. Now when it comes to his family, it can be said that he's a family man - he will be involved in his children's life, not missing a moment of it. He is protective of his family, and will do anything for them including fuck someone up for messing with them. He will teach his sons to be gentlemen and treat ladies right and be disappointed if they don't and teach his daughters that they are queens and they shouldn't think any less of themselves and don't settle for just any guy. When his children start looking for mates, he will be supportive but also cautious especially when it comes to his daughters, they are his princesses - not just shy hoodlum can court them, you better damn well be worthy of her, and if you break her heart you're signing your own death wish. You can also believe that he will spoil and adore any grandchildren he is given, and he's definitely the embarrassing type to ask his children when they're going to give him grandchildren, but in an affectionate way. Standing at almost four feet to the shoulder, she sports a muscular but agile body type; while she is not built all-agility or all-strength, she has a nice skillset in both. Her endurance is high and, while her speed is not the most remarkable, she is in prime condition to run long distances. Her muscles are well-defined and wiry, certainly enhancing the more intimidating appearance she has. Aina has graceful, feminine features over all. Large, pale dusty blue eyes are framed by thick eyelashes, dark skin, and sleek white fur. Her nose is a mottled mixture of pink and black with the former color congregating around the center groove. Her tongue is a pink blep. Long, shining teeth are visible with the mischievous grin she occasionally sports. Aima's coat is white, but she has darker cream and gray shading around her face, ears, shoulders, and rump. Her fur is short, soft, and sleek, keeping her warm but also effectively shedding heat. She has a fair number of scars, though none are overly noticeable, that she has gained through mainly hunting endeavors; a few were gained from lions and lionesses as well. Aina's voice is low and almost sultry, though it carries a hardened tone of a more dominant animal. She speaks eloquently and carries herself in a more regal manner befitting a lioness of a higher station; however, there is nothing pompous about her walk or mannerisms. She is not an arrogant creature, nor does she try to impose her ways on others. Aina leads in a more natural way, focusing first on herself and her own actions. Personality If loyalty and protectiveness were personified, they would be Aina. She is a quiet, reserved lioness -- until her family and her pride is threatened. Aina's strength is both physical and mental, and she will unleash all of the underworld on the unfortunate soul who dared attempt harm her family in any way. She can have quite the harsh mouth when she feels like it, and sharp claws don't hurt either. Aina's forte is mental destruction. This female can locate a weakness and stab at buttons like no other. She whips up lies more easily than anything, and she's good at weaving stories. Of course, in her current circumstances, this gift has been used mainly for the entertainment of her younger pridemates, but there has been a time or two when she has waged psychological war on another lion or lioness. That time is coming once more. She is quite mature. While Aina is aloof and certainly not the most outgoing creature, she can hide it when she needs to and will grin and bear it. She is adventurous, but her idiotic actions died within her first year or so of life. Now, she is much more rational in her decisions and plans before doing. She measures threats and formulates actions accordingly; there is nothing sudden or sporadic about this lioness. She enjoys hunting, though playing with cubs is her favorite pastime. She keeps an eye on expectant or new mothers to make sure everything goes smoothly, as she has seen the drastic effects that can occur when there is a hiccup in the birthing process. In such situations -- in any stressful time, actually -- Aina maintains a level head and her composure, allowing her to think rationally and find a quick, effective solution to the problem. She is not below asking for help, though that is usually a last resort. She is an intelligent, guarded creature, keeping nearly all of her emotions and unneccessary thoughts to herself. She can hide the aforementioned treasures quite well and can easily throw up false ones when needed. Aina hates showing weakness herself and is always striving to be "the greatest" in all that she does. It's not really a competition between her and the other lionesses; in her mind, the only opponent she needs to gain the upper hand on is herself. If someone is better suited for a job, then let them take it. Aina is not easily offended -- at least, not by personal attacks. Then, there is the flip side to her. When threatened, or when her family is threatened, this light lioness takes on a very dark personality. She is not afraid to shed blood, and she can be downright terrifying with both her words and actions when placed in a hard spot. Aina is physically capable and, while she may not be able to take down a challenging lion, she will give them the beating of their life. She can become very revenge-driven and almost bloodthirsty. Name: Adaliya “Liya” Meaning: Nobility Age: 5 years (Still thinking) Gender: Female Rank: Pride Female Desired Rank: [What rank do they want in the future when they're established?] Huntress / Pride Female Appearance: She is 3.5 feet tall and she weighs 330 pounds. Her body is lean and very much built to with stain heavy battle and long hunt. Her core strength is in her short legs from her stamina withholding a same speed for a long periods of time. Her build is not meant for speed and agility like most lioness as she is more lean. But she is stock in her shoulders and legs that are muscle built from her periods of hunting. Her tail is long with a small tip of fur at the end that never really grew from constantly of being chewed on a cub from her curious nature. Her face is smaller and more rounded. Her cheeks are well there that cause her face to be rounded.
She may as well be an average dud of a lioness. She is nothing very striking of lioness. She has the light sand and tan mixture of lion. Her fur being thin to withstain the heat of the Savannahs. She has her spots and stripe down her legs and underbelly as from a cub that has never grown out from adult hood. Her ears are the same color other than the ages and behind her ears are a faded black and dark brown mixture. Her only striking appearance her golden brown eyes with beady black pupils that could cast you down..Her nose is salmon tone with black dapples on it..
She has no crazy scars on her body, but a few scratch marks down her sides and across her muzzle from being a rogue female part of her time. Her voice is rich and smooth when she speaks.
Her posture is confident and her walk is full of confidence.. Her head is held high and she does not let her own crown slip from her head. She does not slouch and she never struts. She smoothly just moves like a wave lapping against a shore.
Personality: Adaliya is a knack for her own curiosity getting the best of her. Her tendency to explore the territory and having to experiment what’s new. Her curiosity and adventurous nature is tiring for others to keep up. She has the notion “if there’s a will, then there’s a way” she will keep searching until she finds what is bugging her. This can lead to a new scent, a secret, or a fact of what is being hidden from her. Liya does not like secrets being kept from her. She deems it as a lie or just cowardly to hide from the truth. With that, Adaliya has often been known to speak the truth and nothing but the truth. It may be blunt or not wanting to be heard from other’s, though she does not care. Her motive to spread the truth is to always be part of her own code. She knows the truth is messy or damaging to others. But it does not mean it needs to be hidden and buried away for others.
Adaliya is very noble and trusted to do things. She always keeps her word when she promises and will uphold it. She does not waver from anything from what she promised to do or keep. Even if her life is on the line. Though she has a way/ strategy if someone slanders her or does something to her. She never breaks the promise that they made her swore. Adaliya finds a loophole or a way around it to take her vengeance. If she promised someone that they would not let anyone kill them. Then they do something that hurts her image or her in general. She will not let anyone kill them still. But she will kill them herself, because they did not make her promise not to kill them herself. Her noble and trusted nature is to a point until she has been hurt in some type of way. Adaliya does not take herself being hurt as something lightly. Her pettiness and vengeance will strike and do anything to get them back even if it’s something small. With that Adaliya holds grudges tightly as if they were a piece of candy. She always remembers what they have done to her. If it’s slandering her or well fighting her. She does not care that her grudgeful self has impacted friendships or divided her from the pride. All she would like is an apology.
Those that did not have done her dirty. She has unwavering loyalty to them til they have done something to her or she stops dying. She believes friendships are a path to having someone at her side. She will go to war for a friend and she will never stop trying to cheer them up. Though she does not know if they would do the same for her. Though it could easily be just that she does not want others involved in her fights. She fights dirty with words and does not play around when it comes to that. She rather stirred clear from damaging friendships that come to males or her own battles.
Adaliya has undying confidence in herself. She knows who she is and she is the queen of herself. Her head will always stand tall and she will keep her body confident. She does not care for a title or want that status. She thinks being the lead huntress or the queen that the respect has to be there. She rather be respected for who she is and was earned on her part. Plus, she knows those titles come with problems. She has no intention of being the cause of the problems or well a peacekeeper of problems. It’s not her and would rather just hunt and be in her world. She rather be respected for honor and nobility instead of being favored over simple minded- male creatures. She also does not want jealousy over being the top lioness and well be thought that she looks down at the lionesses. Adaliya thinks it’s a political headache and will not entertain it. If anything it’s a nuisance to her and she would rather claw out her own eyes than be the reigning lioness.
Her rage is almost lethal and uncontrollable. An unpredictable flame in the dry savannah not knowing where it spread, but almost everywhere. She is never icy with her words, but she is full of fire. She is not necessarily quick-tempered, but she can be very hotheaded and irritated. SHe tries to warn others before she gets too uncontrollable. Her fits of rage are not to be messed with and let her cool off on her own. All she can see is hot white rage that blankets her logic and right mind. Blood-thirsty and out to destroy even if it’s someone close or someone just watching. Her mind is gone, but something that just went to sleep. Though it may be troubling for her to control, if she knows herself and if it gets to that extent. She tries to detach and stray away to not hurt anyone. She will often try to leave the situation that is bothering her. But her vengeance will come back in full strength.
