Appearance
Makyas looks are certainly peculiar. Neither looking like fox nor dog, he could be compared to a scrappy verion of a jackal, or a ratty coyote. He isnt the pretties, but he is far from ugly. He would be described as simply 'cute' by most. His height comes in at 19 inches at the shoulder, and he weighs 21.4 lbs. He has a sort of skinny scrappy look to him, with his fur not really fitting him quite right and h--- HE HAS A TAIL NOW GUYS

He has a long slim muzzle ending in somehow straight teeth in a slight overbite. His face is extra whiskery, resembling, say, a cat. His eyes are a stunning shade of violet-gray, and are almond shaped and deep set. His ears flop naturally all over the place, though they are most commonly found perked and listeng. His gray blue fur seems to lighten aroung the points, like the tip of the muzzle and the ears, though it is not very noticable and most non observant animals can't spot the difference.

Makyas legs are long and skinny, looking somewhat frail but are surprisingly sturdy and muscular. His fur type varries, ith it being curled and thick on his neck and tail, as well as his underside and very slightly on his legs. Again, the points here grow into a very slightly lighter shade, on the paws tail tip and fome other patches. His tail is skimpy and looks a tad bi mangy, though its not. Over all, he has a weird, sort of endearing look about him.

Personality
Makya has a calm and serene feel about him. His whole vide is just ever so peaceful and relaxed. It usually helps the other around him, though it can get on somes nerve when he acts all cool and non chalant. He just seems to be on a whole different plane of existence, always drifting off into Lala land unless he is actively on duty and working, or trcking something down. He doesn't talk to others much and reffers to everyone around him as shortenings of their own names. He prefers to keep his letter count to a minimum.

Despite being so chill, he can commit acts of bravery, as wel as show intense bursts of emotion, though it isnt very often that this happens. He doesn't usually get bothered by others but on a particularly rough day he might lash out. It would only last a second and the most hed ever do is, say, snarl at someone or laugh. He can also be extremely brave hen faced with danger. he isn't partucualarly brave, but when someone he truly cares about really needs a hero, he is quick to step in and attempt his best to help.

Strengths
Hearing- His hearing ability, that only really works when his ears are perked, is not too great but is good by all means. He is simply just able to her pretty well. Theres no telling which side of the family tree it came from.

Sight- he has keen eyesight as well. Wheather he is looking for a lost child on the horizon or scrounging around in leaves for a pretty feather, he can almsot always spot it.

Smell- He most heightened sense by far is his sense of smell. It is so good that it can sometimes be a bit overwhelming.
Speed- His long, strong legs make traversing areas quickly and easy task for the small critter.
Weakness
Endurance- He can run fast, sure, but he can't run far. He gets tired when traversing at quick speeds extremly fast.

Brute force- He lacks strength in his bite and such. He wouldn.t do well in a head to head fight.

Lack of claws- he isn't sure how or why, but he has no claws. None. Nadda.
Likes
Shiny rocks- Shiny. Rocks.
Feathers- Feathers are soft and light, and have a serenity to them that Makya appreciates very much.
Trees- They provide shade from the sun on teh harshest days, and leaves to play in during fall. They asct as snow cover in teh winter and are a brilliant place to find flowers in the spring.
Dislikes
Rain- It gets him wet. he doesn't wanna be wet. Its only welcome to him suring droughts.
Unpredictable animals- He hates those unpredictable poeple. Its hard to tell what theyre going to do next, or how theyll respond to certain things.
Not having a second chance- He hates the way its a one and done in his colony, but in a sense he respects it. It makes him feel succesful.

Max the dog- Makya see's Max as one of the only people he can turn to if he truly needs help- whilst not being completely bast friends, Maya appreciates Max and adores when he is gifted trinkets from the dog.
