Hey there, I wanted to make an open roleplay where anyone could come in and play as anything. Setting is in the midwest, a mix of forests, corn and bean fields, livestock farms, rivers, lakes, hills, and plains. I don't care what character you play as or how many. You can have relationships with your own characters or other peoples if they agree. Just not mine. My character will always be Rose, info on my den page and blog. I don't care how often you can rp as long as you are having fun. Trigger warnings should proably be mentioned becouse Rose hasn't had the best life and alluds to that off and on. Let your characters be free!

A tawny and russet owl alighted on a branch, hooting to herself, a flame colored cat was streaking across the across forest floor, heading towards her tree. She watched, amused, It was not like she could catch her. But is was humorous to watch. Edited at September 27, 2021 03:32 PM by The Glød Pels

Rose padded alongside a trickling creek, head down as she halfheartedly sniffed along at the water, pausing every now and then as she watched a water vole scamper into it's burrow or a frog poke it's head from the water. She had been captured in part of "Rehabilitaion" project for moving some of Canada's grey wolves into the Midwest United States. The men and women doing it, however, wern't worth their weight in seal flipper becouse they didn't realized they had captured and tranqed a rare Sea Wolf, not a Grey Wolf. So now here she was, dazed and confused, padding along a bubbly little creek in a brightly lit forest instead of plunging through the waves and rolling in pine needles. And-worst of all- she was thousands of miles away from her mate. She whimpered as she thought of the Snowshoe rabbit that the Moon Goddess had paired her up with. She protected him feom wolves, owls, and other predators, and without her around the den she had made for the two of them, she was afraid he would be eaten. If Grizzly was still alive... she whimpered again, her tail tucking tight against her legs as she thought of her missing best friend.

The flame colored cat reached the tree, and began to scale it, the owl merely continued to watch, as she got closer, and closer to her goal. The owl decided to let her win...this time. The molly clambered up into the branch beside her, and batted at the owl's head, causing it to puff up. "Stop. Annoying." The owl responded, batting her away with a wing. The cat sat on her haunches, and smiled, giving a slow blink, a feline geture of understanding, trust, and affection. She then smacked it again. Edited at September 27, 2021 10:06 PM by The Glød Pels

Rose continued on her way, spotting a butterfly resting in the mud by the bank. Going into a crouch, she stalked it and then rushed forward, snapping at the butterfly as it fluttered up and around her. Giving a shrill yip, she chased it, jumping in the air as she swatted and bit at is as it flew off into a small flowery meadow, grasshoppers, crickets and birds flying up and out of the way as the small wolf crashed through it. She lost interest as the butterfly spiraled up into the sky and far out of reah, and began sniffing around, sneezing as her snout came in contact with a pollen filled flower. Her sultry black coat was speckled with pollen and burrs from her romp into the meadow, and she plonked her butt down and began grooming the burrs from her fur, the whine of the summer insects filling her ears with their familier buzz.

It gave a shrill hoot, and battered her with it's wings. She just sat there, with a smug look on her face. The owl had enough, it crouched, and dove, spreading it's wings, and spiraled upwards, banking, and heading for the meadow, where fine hunting could be found. It's wings skimmed the air silently, the little tufts of feather allowing for a soundless descent, as she dipped, and dove towards the grassy meadow.

Rose snuffled through her fur, teeth gripping and pulling out burr after burr, stopping to sneeze once in a while. She slid down to her belly as she craned her neck to reach the cockleburrs stuck to her back. She yanked those out with little whines as tuffts of fur came out with them. Deciding that she'd had enough, she got to her paws and shook vigerously, sending a small cloud of pollen into the air. She panted once she stopped, annoyed that her pelt was still itchy, meaning there were tiny sticker burrs to be pulled. Sighing heavily, she flopped back down and began grooming once more, snapping at crickets who decided to land on her as she combed through her pelt with her teeth.

It spotted the wolf, and spiraled down to meet, landing a safe 10 meters or so away. It hopped forward a few steps, cocking it's head, and waiting, tail fidgeting, shaking out it's wings with a bit of a flapping sound, fanning the wolf a little from the distance.

Rose snapped her head up mid-lick, the tip of her tounge sticking from her mouth as she stared at the owl for several moments, then got to her paws and stood, shaking out her fur again and wagging her tail. She stretched her neck as she sniffed towards the owl, opening her mouth to pant as she tilted her head a little to the side, curious why the owl was here.
