(Drama is ALWAYS welcome!!) Khalin dropped what he had in his hands and turned running toward the sound of her voice. "Val!" He called gazing around. A gruff woof drew his attention to Kaz who pelted down an aisle, Khal following quickly. Finally he heard the groans and chomping teeth of a hungry walker and raced towards it. The walker had Val pinned at an angle to where he couldn't swing and not risk hitting her. Gripping his bat tightly he barreled into the walkers body, him and the undead flying into a shelf. He grunted but quickly flipped over onto his back as the walker became at him. He but the bat it it's mouth to keep it from biting him then called out to her. "Alright princess. Your turn to wear the shiny armor" he said sarcastically, but fear had sparked in his eyes as Kaz jumped around waiting, his teeth bared. |

Fear flooded her eyes until suddenly a huge force hit the walker off of her. It was Khalin. She scrambled to her feet as she saw Khalin was in the same position as her. But she didn't know if she should use her machete or pistol. Valentina decided neither. She whipped out her fathers dagger, which was the safest method anyway so she didn't injure Khalin, and jogged over to the walker. Valentina grabbed the walker by its head and stuck the dagger in horizontally. She heard it squelch then the walker fell, lifeless. Val turned to Khalin and helped him up, sweat pouring down her face. "Well, sorry my almost-death ruined your little scavenger hunt." Val said sarcastically, but also practically out of breath. All that fighting with the walker while waiting for Khalin took it out of her. "Also...where were you!" She said and lightly pushed him. "I probably would be dead if you took a second longer." Val turned away and crossed her arms. |

Khalin has small blood splatters on his cheek from the undead, once he pushed off the body and stood he sighed. Listening to ehr talk he realized how upset he would've been if she had died. Without responding he pulled her into a hug. And put his chin on her head. "I'm sorry" he mumbled "I promise I'll be there next time" he pulled away and looked at ehr with a serious nod then turned and grabbed his bat looking over at her. "Well I was going to win but your little diversion made me lose" he chuckled. "Did you find anything?" He asked gently glancing around, aware that the noises of their struggles could attract more walkers |

Valentina hugged Khalin back softly. He better mean what he said. She grinned at his little joke. Even though it was practically about her almost dying. She widened her eyes when he had asked if she found anything. "Shit..." She muttered, scrambling around. Val couldn't find it. "Before I almost died, I had found a shiny object that I was messing with. But I think it got lost when the walker attacked me." She sighed. "I couldn't exactly tell what it was. Doesn't matter now though. You won asshole." Val said with a smirk as she jokingly pushed him. She unsheathed her machete, just to be more prepared if some walkers sneak up on them. |
