I used to breed crystallines a lot, and even tried my hand at exclusives as well.

Yes, but both parents have to have exclusive pelts I believe, or at least 1 of the parents do. It's very similar to crystalline, and very difficult/expensive

@Sun
I can't remember for sure but I think it's possible when both parents have the same exclusive pelt. It's just extremely rare.
I could easily be wrong though and thinking about something else

Can someone naturally breed and get an exclusive pelt wolf without dye?

Kodak woke up early, as he hadn't got much sleep that night. None of the others were up, unless you count Solon, the Alpha before his father who was forced to step down after a bear attack left him blind and crippled. A rock by the Kukamuk river (at least that's what the Eastern Mountain Pack called it, named after the pack's founder) called Solon's rock, a popular hangout spot for the juveniles, the Kukamuk River was a boundary at sorts, running mainly through Eastern Mountain but touching the other pack and then serving as a border. It connects down at Lake Cedar, a large lake forming the boundary between Eastern Mountain and the Pack of the Beyond, whom they only come in contact with twice a year. He decided to head that way, even despite the heavy mist that always forms there. Hopefully he would be able to find her and her only. If he ran into another wolf he would be screwed. He left camp without saying a thing, Solon not even taking notice as he ate his breakfast. Yet his glassy gray eyes seemed to linger on Kodak as he left, which gave him the creeps.
As he made his way towards the river, he came across a few rabbits, but didn't give chase. They seemed to watch him in awe, and seemed to know he wasn't after them. If only they acted like this when he wanted to hunt. As he approached the Kukamuk River, his golden eyes scouted ahead, looking for any signs of enemy wolves, and even a chance to see Lidiya. Luckily nothing, and he began to wade his way through the water. It was deeper in the middle than on the sides. And soon he couldnt touch, then proceeded to swim, once he could touch at the other side, he quickly made his way out, shaking off the cold water as he did so. It had felt refreshing and gave him a newfound confidence at what he was doing. Once he made it into the underbrush of unfamiliar territory, he lowered himself and began to trot, hopefully towards where Lidiya would be.

Lidiya was not expecting to see Kodak again that day. Oh no she definitely wasn't.

Which was why, as she wandered around a thick bush to scent that he had been this way - and quite recently too - she was... more than a little suprized.

The confused tangle of emotions that related to Kodak aside, she followed his scent. Not because of whatever she thought and felt next to Kodak. But she was also curious - what was he doing around here? - and while the mist obscured her vision... it didn't really impede her scent that much, did it?

Kodak's scent, at least, led into her home territory. In a different place than last time. Focussing now, she kept following the scent, travelling faster than a trot to see if she could catch up with him.

What was he doing in their territory? He could easily be killed or cornered. Crossing the border like that - even she didn't do that.

Yet, apparently here was traces of Kodak doing exactly that. So she simply followed the scent. Hoping, at least, she'd find Kodak before any of her packmates did.

That would be problematic if he found someone. With absolutely no idea what he was doing in their territory, what kind of reckless stunt was he pulling?

She needed to find him, as quickly as possible - else it would be... problematic, if someone else did first.

(Short, ick. :P)

As Kodak crept his way through the underbrush, his stomach slowly scraped the ground as he made his way towards camp. The sun was rising quickly now, and he could only go a little further into their territory before he had to turn back. He knew what scent he was looking for. A lemony/rainy scent, the one he had first picked up yesterday. She had to be around here somewhere. She seemed to always be close to their border.
He continued for a few more minutes, until the sun cleared the top of the horizon. His mission would be leaving when the sun was barely over the horizon. He had to turn. Part of him wanted to go on, find her and warn her, but then he'd be found and have to face Njord. This time wasn't worth it, Kodak barely ever gave up, but this would be one of those times. He stuck his head up to see if he saw her. Nothing. No other wolves in sight either. With that, he rose to his full height, and began at a trot before turning into a canter as he all but not rushed back to his border. But then he saw her. A glimpse of white and gray speckles, following his scent. The smell of lemon and rain, her head lowered following in his footsteps. Was she alone? He couldn't tell, but this was more important. As he trotted over to her, a look of concern embedded on his face, he called out, "Lidiya!" He didn't scream, but said it loud enough for her to hear. "Don't attack. I need to have a word with you now. This is urgent."
