Due to some things I can't really distance myself from him right now but I may honestly just ask him how his girlfriend is at some point and just ask about her, I feel like it could go 50/50 but I can't really distance myself from him (not saying I'm forcing myself against my will to talk to him) and honestly if he thinks I'm trying to hit on him then I can just say I like someone or something

Honestly it's been interesting to see, I quite literally could make a list of his weird behavior and actions since we split

technically in real life some animals can have multiple pelt changing defects

my neighbor used to have a cat that was Chimera and Viti which was very cool

but in this game its just a bug that makes it look like two pelt changing defects

I've seen a few wolves recently that have more than one pelt changing defect

Edrys Kolsvalk

⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻
Female || 20 Years Old || Experienced Hunter
M:
Lovel, Davorian { ind. }
⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻

Across from a local bar, a woman stood silently against the building across the street from the said bar, hiding within the shadows, her bright-green eyes were focused on the door ahead of her. Lying in front of her, was home to many drinks and drunken idiots, wasting their precious lives and time on countless drinks. The woman herself never liked that kind of thing... the drinks themselves were so bitter and disgusting. The after-party was worse too... ugh, she remembered her first time when she had her first drink. The morning after was absolute hell. Never again. And the people? They were either complete dick heads or low-life drunks, their lives withering way drink after drink. However, morons' drinking wasn't the primary focus. Not only a few hours ago, one of her dear friends had revealed some unnerving news about of her one of her colleagues. Edrys did indeed question her friend on a few matters. First of all, why was her friend stalking Lovel? And why were her accusations so detrimental? Edrys couldn't truly believe that a hunter just like herself, one that knows what their doing could be siding with them. She didn't really believe what her friend had said, but as much as she refused to believe it, something deep inside her gut ached at the feeling. So, she decided to see for herself. Still wouldn't believe it, this is just some wild goose chase most likely. Yes, he was.. annoying, and sometimes odd, but it's simply not possible. Who in their right mind would want to associate with those vile creatures?

As the moon rose higher and higher into the sky, Edrys looked up at its radiating beauty, sighing tiredly. "What was I thinking," she whispered softly to herself. She stood up from her post and began to walk away, but of course just as she was about to leave she heard voices and movement. Thinking it was just a couple morons, she continued on, until she heard his voice. Lifting her eyes from the ground beneath, she glanced towards his voice, seeing the man walking in the opposite direction. Lovel.

Of course, just as she was to give up. Wonderful timing. Taking a quick peak in all directions to make sure no one would be following either of them, Edrys reached behind her head, and flipped a black hood over her hair, tucking her hair back within the cloth. Brushing herself off for a few moments, she began following the hunter, using the shadows as her camouflage.

Oh, this felt so wrong. Following one of her own through the night, as if she truly doubted his loyalty to the hunters. Could she get in trouble for this? Possibly. If Lovel were to find her snooping around, stalking him in the night, who knows what he'd do? He could attempt to attack her, or he'd do nothing. Oh well, she didn't really care, she just wished to figure out what he was doing, then be on her merry way. Actually, now that she thought about it, the two never talked to each other, or really hung out willingly. The only reason they would know of each other's existence is because of the constant meetings, and group ups. Otherwise, they wouldn't have ever acknowledged each other. Even if they did, Edrys never spoke to anyone, not much anyways. If she did end up talking with someone she would forget all their previous conversations regardless. Not that she didn't want to remember conversations.. she just.. doesn't really care about strangers and their issues, let alone their hobbies, families, or dying friends. If Lovel were to be her friend, and if they spoke in the past about that kind of thing, maybe she'd remember. That's a big maybe.

⸻・⸻・⸻

After a bit of walking... Edrys noticed someone up ahead, but so did Lovel it seemed, and the way he acted and walked up to them, he either knew them or was curious about them. It worried her for a moment thinking about it. As she looked at her surroundings, she realized that this didn't seem the most likely place to just wander up to a stranger. It sent chills down her spine thinking what was said was true. No, no. Simply couldn't happen.

When the two began to speak, she quickly grew closer with a quiet step, gaining closer, curious as to what they were saying. When Lovel spoke, she didn't exactly understand what they were talking about.

Davorian? Meeting?

Edrys had many questions. Who was Davorian? What was this meeting about? Why couldn't this Davorian come and find Lovel their selves? Why was Lovel willingly following this guy? So many questions, and so little answers. It worried Edrys, it really did.. begs the question, what is he really doing?

⸻・⸻・⸻

By the smell, it left, and the way it looked, Edrys knew Lovel was being accompanied by a vampire. An eery feeling crept upon her spine, and a bad feeling stirred in her gut. Lovel really was associating with vampires.. why? Why would he do such a thing? Why? All she could do was question, wonder. It made her absolutely sick, but she couldn't understand why a Hunter, who kills vampires, would casually hang out with one of them. Maybe.. maybe he was just working up a plan? Slowing to a stop, she looked ahead of herself and then back to where she had come through. Maybe she should turn back. Maybe right now. This was a bad idea.. if Lovel was associating with vampires willingly without any plan, there's no doubt that they would leave him be, but Edrys? If they found Edrys tailing him and his little friend, she'd for sure be a blood bag for those wretched bloodsuckers. Or worse. But.. if she followed, she could gain more information on what Lovel was doing, and she could tell Sezvam. They would know what to do, and more intel would favor Edrys' story. Fuuuuck, this hole just keeps getting bigger.

Following them from store to store, she kept her distance, while keeping an eye on everything else surrounding them. Who knew how many vampires were in this place? All she had was a hidden dagger, nothing else. It could kill some of these blood suckers no doubt, but it wouldn't save her. This was so stupid. Her heart told her to turn around this instant and run far away, but her legs kept moving forward.

Sighing quietly to herself, Edrys glanced at her feet, shaking her head. She couldn't believe a hunter would turn against them. She really couldn't. Maybe Edrys couldn't believe anyone would want to side with these vampires, but unfortunately, she knew better. Some people out there were real sick bastards.

While tailing someone, one would need to be close enough at all times to hear what they were saying.. and Edrys was. But as they talked, nothing really caught her attention until Lovel offered the vampire something. It caused Edrys to stop dead in her tracks, her eyes widening in horror as she listened on.

He was.. offering his blood to the thing.. to it. Edrys could only watch as they dipped into a nearby alley, no doubt to feed. She refused to witness such a thing, and she took a few steps back. Her head was throbbing, not only was Lovel talking with them, he was feeding them. Willingly. Leaning against a building, her back pressed against the cold brick surface, she slowly fell to her knees, and pressed her palms against her forehead.

"Fucking aye'."

⸻・⸻・⸻

When they came upon a castle, Edrys knew instantly that they were in vampire territory now. No going back. Any humans here were the victims of these monsters, and they would be no help to her. Some of them chose to be there, others were there against their will no doubt. It was saddening, but she couldn't do anything to help them, especially now. Maybe if she came upon one or two who wanted to go back home, maybe she'd assist. But she couldn't lose focus on her primary goal.

Ahead, Edrys noticed the vampire part ways with Lovel, and she saw her chance to follow Lovel with no concerns. Well, with minimal concerns as she still was in a vampire-infested area. As she began to quicken her pace not to lose him, moving towards the entrance, something barreled into her side, knocking her down into the dirt with a loud, UMPH!

For a moment, she struggled to look up at her attacker, but after the dust had cleared, it was the vampire that was escorting Lovel, and he looked absolutely pissed. She shoved him off of her, and kicked at him, pushing him to the ground as her boot made contact with that ugly face of his. Quickly, she attempted to get to her feet, but only to have the vampire knock her down again, standing on top of her with vicious intent in his eyes. She noticed his eyes began to grow brighter by the second, and that was when Edrys remembered what the vampire had replied to one of Lovel's questions. Hypnosis Class. The ability to control people. Without a moment's hesitation, Edrys reached beneath her cloak, ripping out the silver blade, and propelled it forward, plunging the blade right through its chest. The vampire fell limp and fell to the ground beside her, but she knew he wasn't dead. She knew better. Yanking the blade from the living corpse, she pulled herself to her knees, grabbed it by its head of hair, and wrapped her blade around its throat as she wrapped her other hand around its chest. Disabling his movement.

"Where is Lovel going? And what is he doing here?" Edrys questioned with a heavy breath, but she was given no answer. She expected the vampire to give up his location but wasn't entirely surprised. The hunter sighed dramatically and began to dig the blade into its skin until he began to panic.

"Wait, wait! Davorian! Davorian!"

"Where."

"The-The catacombs??"

That seemed more like a question answered with a question, but it was enough, there was no time for games. She was gaining distance between herself and Lovel, and that is never a good thing. With a quick, and efficient slice, she sliced the vampire's throat and shoved its lifeless body to the side, jumping to her feet.

Quickly cleaning her blade, wiping it off in the grass, she tucked it back into its sheath and began to make a bee-line towards the entrance only to stop in her tracks. Her cloak was draped in the vampire's scent and blood. That would draw the eyes of others... she couldn't afford to do that here, not while everyone else was a starving vampire. Sighing, she tossed it to the grown, and looked at it, "That sucks. I really liked that cloak."

Edrys made her way towards the castle's entrance where Lovel was last seen entering.

⸻・⸻・⸻

Edrys crept through the halls in utter silence, drastically trying to find Lovel. Where would the catacombs be? Where? She stood questioning where they would be until she heard Love's voice. Guess she wasn't too far off.

Finding herself in a hallway, Edrys saw Lovel entering a room with a vampire in tow, the door closing behind them. Ah, fuck.

"Shit," she muttered under her breath, and she glanced around. Thankfully, she hadn't been found by anyone.. which was somewhat surprising but she didn't pay it much mind, but now she had found herself in a difficult situation. In a vampire-ridden castle, with no idea where she was, she was standing in a hall like a moron. Now, all she needed was to listen on to Lovel. But how?-

Ah! A room right beside Lovel's, perfect.

Opening the door cautiously, she creaked it open, waiting for any movement or noise within the room to indicate whether or not a vampire was hiding within. To her luck, no one was in there, so she had dipped into the room, closing the door behind her as quietly and easily as she could without causing a disturbance.

Walking over to the wall that the two rooms shared, she pulled a chair to the wall, and sat in it, taking in a few breaths as she prepared herself for what she was to hear.

Davorin Merle-Jorin Renwick
Soul Class Vampire | High Lord | 348 | Mentions : Lovel

The male opened his eyes he groaned a bit in a rather pained manner. And he grimaced a bit, he'd never do a vision on a near empty stomach again. His senses were still jumbled and out of whack, and he felt his brain was jumbled up. He held a hand to his head and tried massaging it a bit to relive the pressure and tension, but so far it wasn't working. As his eyes still felt like needles were being pricked into them, and he had to have a groan of annoyance. He then heard a voice, and turned to face the sound as best he could, his eyes squinting at the blurred vision. And he tentatively reached the out, and grabbed the face - gently in a cupping manner. And he felt the hair of the person, and he sighed a breath of relief after recognizing the person before him. If his eyes could brighten up even more they did, and he threw his arms around the neck of the man before him. And he gave a grimace of a smile through his pain before saying, "Lovel!" , his voice genuinely excited to see the male.

"I didn't think you'd come. You came! This is such a mess." He said rather calmly, and a bit embarrassed, "I was supposed to be taking your to dinner and a boat ride to apologize for being so . . . distant from you." He said the last part a but shamefully and began messing with his brown locks nervously, " it's just been hectic on my side of the table, " and he gave an exhausted sigh, " there's just so much chaos, and then this damned meeting. Gods, I can't even imagined what the Royal Consort is feeling right now. There's just so much going on and then the nightmares, omens, t-the visions of the future of my people. And now I have to announce a rather ominous and displeasing message on the auspicious day of someone's new reign." He was stressing out, as this was very stressful and he couldn't really talk to members of his class about it - as they were rather elusive. And he sort of blinked at Lovel when asked if he needed blood, and he shook his head before saying, "No, no. I'm fine it's fine." He said his words slurring a bit, " besides it smells like you already have been fed on, and it wouldn't be wise to feed off you in my state, don't want to hurt you."
And he stood up slowly, trying to find his way around the room. His surroundings still blurry and wobbly around him. And he slowly found what he was looking for, a dresser - and he opened it and felt it, and that's when he found it : a blood pack. And with a swiftness he used his fangs, and drunk half the packet dry due to his thirst . And but the time he registered the horrid taste, he hat to cover his mouth from retching, and held the dresser for support. " What in the actual seven rings of hell," he said in agitation and disgust, " what incompetent servant left spoiled blood in the dresser? They're supposed to be changed at least every eight hours so they're fresh and consumable, that's just putrid. Ugh," he shuddering in disgust, "and humans call us monsters for drinking blood. It's the damned lower levels that have no control giving us bad name, us regular vampires can survive off of just animal blood - but it takes more of it to fill us and sustain our power as opposed to human blood which is richer and in some cases tastier. "

He have a sharp intake of breath as he proceeded to down the rest of the blood. And he gives a small bleh, in reaction to it. He could feel his headache begin to dull a bit but that throbbing pain was still there, faintly knocking. And he could begin to see better a bit more. And he sighed, " What human even came up with the myth that we feed off dead corpses ; that is an absolute lie. Only a vampire absolutely desperate or practically feral would suck blood from a corpse, human or animal for that manner. It it's about the only think besides silver that gets us sick. I can't even manage how dead blood tastes."

He was gaining his enhanced senses back slowly, but it would take a full palette of blood and some rest before he could even think of fully recovering his senses. And so he walked back over to Darvion, and he noticed the things in his hands - and tilted his head at them. It seemed he got some pastries, a ribbon and crystals, it was very cool. And he wondered what the male had them for. But he gave a short yawn, and rested his head on Lovel's shoulder.

"I'll most likely get some blood from the wine cellar to curb my appetite, but I really want to take a nap before the meeting, but it should be happening soon and I can't be late for that." He grumbled rather annoyed by the the thought, but his mood changed after he had a thought, " And plus, Maueve is holding a killer after-party we can go to, it's supposed to have dancers, music, alcohol, and even some food and alcohol from my restaurant and my personal vineyard. But who knows maybe we can sneak out." He says excitedly and he gave Lovel an impish look with a flirty smile, " would Sir Lovel like to get lost on an enchanting boat ride and catered dinner with me, and maybe a bit more as an apology or are you still mad at me." He said leaning over a bit as he puffed up his cheeks and his eyes were widened for an effect to charm his paramour, he definitely wasn't above pouting to get his lover to forgive him and make up for it. And he definitely wanted to make it up to Lovel, he wasn't a fan of being left alone himself, and he knew that wasn't fair to him.

Umbria/Rosalie | 200/118 | F/F | Blood/Shadow | Vampire/Vampire

Mentions: Kiran (dir.) and Isolabella (ind.)

Umbria was kneeling beside the princess, also her daughter, which would be awkward to explain once she exposes herself. Ugh. She's thinking about the introduction now: "Hey, daughter. I was alive this whole time. Isn't unlife funny?" After saying those words, cue two stabbings from both Rosalie and Isolabella. Damn, those two are alike in so many ways it's scary. She could see the glares from the two and Bella's harsh words when she'll force her to the couch. Mind you, Umbria wouldn't mind the couch if it was comfortable. Sadly, it felt like concrete under the cheap fabric. Her unlive back is already cramping, "Bella. Please don't whoop my ass once I announce myself."

Rosalie turns her head slowly to face the stranger, "Bella? How do you know of my mothe-" She coughed up blood, and Umbria clamped her mouth shut. "Shut the Hell up, Umbria!" Telling herself to shut up mentally before glancing over to Kiran to see what he was doing.

"If this kills me, don't bury me deep I fucking hate small spaces, and if I have to claw my way free, it better be fucking worth my while."

Umbria was confused and somewhat interested in what Kiran was doing, and she couldn't help but grin when he winked at her. Yeah, she was on board whatever he was doing. "Hmm, I wonder what he's going to do." She says to herself, noticing Rosalie shuffling and her breathing starting to slow. "Alright, what's yo-" Her eyes widen in surprise when he cuts himself to shed blood and blinks a couple of times. Rosalie leaps towards the injured wrist, taking in his blood like a blood-starved beast. Umbria was too stunned to react instantly, but she snapped out of it and placed her hands on Rosalie's shoulders. She waits a decent amount of time before forcefully pulling the princess away from the human and wiping her lips clean from the blood using her thumb. Some of her wounds were healing, yet they didn't close fully. "Thanks, Kiran." She sighs in relief, only for it washes away in a split second. "Holy fuck, Kiran!" She sets the princess into a lying position on the floor and rushes to Kiran's side.

"My bad there, Kiran. I almost forgot that you're bleeding out." Chuckling nervously as the stress got to the Justicar. She places a loving hand on the man's cheek-something a mother would do with their ill child. "If I were to bury you, I'll make sure to give you a bathhouse with a nice radio to tune out our phobia." She brings her wrist to her mouth and tears it open with a forceful tug of her teeth. She was glad she didn't feel pain anymore, or you'll hear her hollering throughout this castle. Umbria brought her bleeding wrist close to the man's lips, pulling Kiran tight against her. "You'll be my child now, and I'll love you forever. Well," she clicked the roof of her mouth before continuing, "if you were to reawaken as a vampire, of course. Also, you know, not die forever." She opens his mouth, allowing her blood to drip into his mouth.

"To add, don't judge me if my blood isn't your taste. Who am I kidding? Humans don't even drink blood unless they're either wannabe vampires or crazed cannibals." Yes, she was rambling. It was the only way to soothe her energetic mind. Once done feeding the dying man, she heals her wounds and stands up. She dusts her hands together, examining the two severely injured folks beside her. Trying to figure out how to handle this. "Isolabella was always the one to form the plans for shit like this." She picks Kiran up and throws him on her shoulder, huffing at the additional weight on said shoulder. "Heavy bastard, eh?" Umbria walks over to the princess, grabs her by the cloak, and drags her down the hall to find an empty room.

"First step, find someone to remove the silver and tend to Rosalie's wounds. The second step, make sure she doesn't die. The third step, make sure Kiran doesn't die too, and he successfully converts into a vampire." She wasn't worried about what the other vampires thought and how they would react. She was afraid of Isolabella's fury and actions in this situation. Umbria (including Jayco) experienced it firsthand-something she doesn't want to go through ever again. Ah yes, she remembers that one time Jayco walked in while she and Bella were busy with other things.

Cue Isolabella shouting all sorts of slurs and threatening to kill Jayco while she (as in Vivienne) bursts out laughing with the addition of Bella smothering her with a pillow. Good times she had while she was Vivienne when your close encounter with death was due to your angry wife. A sign of a good, joyous marriage. Not to mention a lovely child who wanted to kill anything that moves. Man, she had some good (and concerning) times as Vivienne, and now she's curious to see if such events would occur. You know, events that don't lead to someone's death. How could an undead life involve so many people dying? Umbria's suspicions towards her mother grew, and a slight frown appeared on her face. "Maybe she has something to do with our recent bad luck."

Finding an empty room, she tossed Kiran and Rosalie onto the bed. Flexing her stiffened shoulder with a soft groan leaving her lips. "I'll go look for someone to help you, and after that, dig Kiran a grave." Muttering those instructions to herself, rubbing her hardened neck and eyes violet eyes lazily drifts to the side. Still, Umbria didn't feel comfortable leaving these two completely alone.

Jayco | ? | M | Harem | Shifter

Mentions: Garvin and Riskel (dir.)

The man's feral instincts radiate at the returned affection this stranger was giving. Riskel, much to his dismay, was pleased by such actions between the two men. Jayco's claws scratch the surface of man's skin once more, his blood was rushing, and his instincts were slamming into his mind hard. His emerald eyes had an intense glow like this affair was setting him on edge but in a decent (passionate) way. He was holding so much of himself back to not accidentally kill the man with the actions that he's used to doing with Suya. He finds this mere human a challenge for his beastly side, for he will be the first human he didn't attempt to kill on purpose.

"Ravage him, mortal. Devour him!"

Jayco rolls his eyes, "Calm yourself, Riskel. You're getting way too into it." He pulled him closer against his body, loving the warmth the living man was giving him, and he gave his neck another teasing nip. He could hear the man's heart beating fast, and much to Jayco's dismay, he felt welcomed. "Besides, I thought you hate actions such as this. You know, actions that don't involve massacring something."

"Oh, please. I may be your internal beast, but it doesn't mean I can't involve myself in moments like this. Tell me this," Riskel pauses for a dramatic effect, "who shall conquer who?"

"Do shut up, now. You're making this awk-" "hot? Steamy? Arousing?" Jayco interrupts him with an internal cough, "Disturbing. Now shut up and handle the backseat of our shared mind, will you?"

Riskel was finally quiet, and Jayco's unknowingly tensed body relaxed. "Excuse me, but I had to handle some issues within my head." There was no sense of falsity in his voice, and for whatever odd reason, he couldn't find himself lying to this stranger. His nose widens as he sharply inhales the stranger's scent when he gives the tip of his nose a love nip, then a kiss between the eyes. Jayco paused briefly in his actions. "You may seem like a dirty rat, but something about you is captivating." He was muttering to himself, yet these mutterings aren't one of a madman. Jayco places both hands on the other's cheeks, bringing his face closer to his own. Fiercely, the two locked eyes, noticing the longing deep in the stranger's eyes.

His thumbs twirl aimlessly on his grime-covered cheekbones.“My name doesn’t matter. It’s not important.” That's when a hardened frown crossed his eyebrows, sucking his lips to thin them in disappointment. "What'd you mean it doesn't matter?" He was growing angry, this time his claws dug deep into his flesh and caused him to bleed. "What'd you mean your name's not important? Are you planning to get me to admire you, then you suddenly vanish to torment me?" By the second, his anger rose, and he changed position to where he was pinning him to the couch. Instantly, his hands went to the other's throat, roughly squeezing it, but not tight enough to kill him.

He brings his face closer to the man's, "If you dare leave without saying anything. I'll kill you with the hands attached to my limbs," Jayco snapped, and his mind riddled with fear. His lips instantly crash onto the blood-gifter's, and his blood was boiling. Removing his hands from his neck, Jayco pulls away only by a few centimeters. "Don't, just, don't." Shaking his head, muttering a bunch of words to himself. He wasn't talking to Garvin-he was talking to himself to not cry in front of this outsider. "I thought I have issues. You're worse than me." Riskel snorted in amusement, but Jayco was feeling too vulnerable to speak. His fingers traced his neck, and his eyes were dim. He bends down to kiss his neck as if silently apologizing for the actions he caused him. "How can you not give me a name? Am I not interesting enough for you?" He inhales sharply, smelling blood. Humming again to soothe his nerves, Jayco lifts the shirt of the outsider to check out the injuries. Bending himself down and kissed the wounds he caused, enjoying the taste of his blood. "Hmm, I need to remember that you're human. Not a vampire." He watches his wounds heal before climbing off of him. This whole situation became uncomfortable, "I got carried away. It's best if we separate for now."

Jayco rubs his forehead, muttering to himself, "Just attend the damn party. I need a moment of isolation." He walks over to the bear. He grabs a clump of fur and drags it to the couch. The vampire avoids looking at the blood-gifter, focused on the bear he has in his grip. He removes a knife from his boot and starts carving the hide off the bear. Ignoring Riskel's taunting words in his head while focused on his task.

☾ Tatsuya Iseul-Fraener Montcrioux ☾
Hypnosis Vampire | Archduke | 698 | Male | Mentions : Brosc, Angelique

Many didn't know this about Tatsuya but he was absolutely a little shit. As proved by his defiance and teasing of Brosc , he absolutely loved pushing his buttons and just not doing what he said. It was a sort of thrill to him - especially when he could elicit a little shudder or an embarrassed look, it was so cute to see the one who was usually flirting - practically melt when he was flirted back with. He just loved the feeling of being with Brosc, he was safe, he was comforting, and he always knew what to do to get himself out of his head and distract him. After all, the man was very distracting, but he was also charming and very attentive to his needs even when he wasn't . He appreciated him very much, even if he didn't say it much. He could feel the males hands on his thighs as he held him for support, and he hummed softly as he got more distracted by the kisses and shared words between them. He couldn't help but give a satisfied almost purr-like hum at the sound of the sigh from Brosc from him being bit. And then he saw it, a small glare, and he could feel his eyes glimmer a little - he enjoyed being cheeky: and angry Brosc was hot, so he was definitely doing his job.

And then he got a little huff from the male. And he tilted his head at the sound, but then it was silent for a moment as the two stared at each other. Then Brosc did that chuckle of his, that would send anyone for the hills - but to Tatsuya it was rather magnetic, and it send rather pleasurable chills down his spine. It made his face perk up even more with impish intent and was completely focused on what the man was saying as if he was the one hypnotized. A smalll scandalous giggle coming from him, " Aww, you think I'm cute." He cooed, or more like purred, " and no, I just like pissing you off. You're hot when you're mad, so how could I not pass up the opportunity. Buttt, you also look cute when you're flustered for a change." He said with a flirtatious grin.

At the mention of him biting him he gave a soft hum, as if in a daze about doing it, " Hm? Me, why I'd never~ but as you said earlier, you're a snack, but I'd like to say you're a meal — either way you're tasty. So I took a bite." And he gave a small chuckle of amusement, " aww, I'm not? That's too bad, you're no fun." He says with a bit of sass and amusement. However, what he wasn't expecting was his hair being pulled to get more access to his neck: why that cheeky bastard, he had to think. But a soft hum of pleasure come from his throat at the action, and their was a mischievous and sort of lustful look in his eyes . He had to give a sort of huff at the grip on his hair being released and smoothed back - his hair was unruly, even if it was smoothed back it would stick back up anyways. He had to tilt his head curiously at Brosc mentioning his Blood Magic, and it was very interesting to him. Before he knew it he was pressed into the wall more and he gave a startled gasp at the unexpected action, but what was more shocking was the formation of a blood collar around his neck, a rather simple red collar with a single metal hoop.

It was under the lace that was around his neck, but still rather accessible. And he had to take a moment to look at it in confusion, because that was a rather new thing between them. And his attention was turned back to Brosc when he was tugged forwards, his eyes still rather shocked and a bit lustful. If he could've blushed at what the male was saying, he would've been very red by now. But instead his eyes conveyed his own lust and desire, they turned a light red color unconsciously and he couldn't keep his eyes off the male. Nor could he even find the words to speak or defy him, he was too busy thinking about the scenerio that Brosc had proposed. And it rather intrigued and he definitely wasn't opposed to doing it. So that was something. And he was going to say something a bit sassy back to him, but before he could even think of a remark he felt himself being bitten by Brosc.

"Fuck." He felt himself say at the unexpected harsh bite, it mixed between a hiss and breathlessness , and it definitely caused him to dig his nails into the shoulder of Brosc in surprise. And he could feel himself being tugged closer. There was a certain feeling he got when Brosc got like this that sent his dopamine levels through the roof. As he was pulled closed he could fell himself him as the male helped himself to the blood on his neck, " Mmh. I'm going to be late aren't I?" And he exhaled a soft hiss at a bite.

Though he may have been enjoying this rather private moment between them, he knew there were other vampires within the castle so there was the rare chance that they could be walked in on. And he didn't want that embarrassment , and it was fortunate for him that he heard the footsteps of someone entering the library. Thank you for supernatural hearing. And he was internally panicking because this definitely would be a source of gossip and rather juicy at that. After all, he wasn't one to take many lovers. The only ones known of, if others even knew were Jayco and Brosc. And he didn't need anyone poking in his affairs.

"Brosc, someone coming." He whispered a warning. But it seems Brosc didn't hear him, because he could feel the male still focused on his neck.

"Brosc..." he hissed

" Stop it. "

" You're gonna get us caught, dumbass."

He was whispering the the male, hopefully to get him to stop. But it didn't, and so he had to trying his damn best to hope the person that was in the library wasn't a nosy fucker. And what he wasn't expecting was another rough kiss. He was so distracted he didn't hear the person walk up. And his eyes widened in shock they proceeded to berate the two, and he could feel his embarrassment grow when only he was recognized and he buried his hands in face in his hands, if one were to see his eyes they'd be a light shade of a orange-gold color to show his embarrassment, a rare sight to see and not many knew what it meant for him.

" Yes, Duchess Belmont . . . I am surprised at myself, " he said rather unamused, and if anything, a bit annoyed. But his tone changed when she started teasing him and he gave a soft sigh, " one thing for sure is I wasn't expecting this tonight as well. All I know was I was stressing out about the meeting and all the possibilities for the way it could go wrong and then . . . I'm here . . . Making out with him." And then a look of realization came to his face, " you cheeky little gremlin," he said as he looked at Brosc , " you did this because I was overthinking? Is that what you meant by a distraction? You absolute . . . " he paused for moment, realizing that was sort of sweet of him. Well, he wasn't stressing out anymore. " Okay fair enough, your plan did work - but at least take me somewhere more romantic if you're gonna steal me from a crowd, hmph."

" Oh, is that what the gossip columns are saying? That I have many lovers." He gave a soft amused giggle - a rare thing for him, " I only have two people I'd kiss or share the sheets with. So if they're saying I'm a whore in a way, well they could at least get their facts straight or not even pry into my business at all. I should buy out their column just for being annoying, tabloids are the worst. Can't a man have a love life without the nosy tabloids ." And as he was saying this he was removing himself from Brosc and straightening out his attire with what little dignity he had left. And looking at Angelique he said, "My paramour? Oh, that's Brosc Sloan, a Blood-Class Vampire and member of the Harem, formerly a High Lord. One I quite favor." He replied honestly, he wasn't ashamed to say he favored a vampire of a different class or that he was quite content to share the night with him. He knew he didn't have to worry about Angelique trying to steal him, after all she wasn't all that interested in men.

"Now if you'll excuse me. I have to . . . ahem . . . fix my wardrobe, as he thought it be reasonable to put holes in my shirt." He said accusingly and giving Brosc a menacing glare. And he then looked at Angelique with seriousness, " I hope you can keep this affair between us?" and in a way he knew he didn't need to ask but he wanted to make sure it was said. And then he said in a compassionate tone, "Also, I meant to send a letter, but the postage system has been very crappy as of late, my condolences for your loss . . . I can't possibly understand the full extent of what you're going through but I know it's hard and I feel bad for not saying it sooner. You're always welcome to come to my manor to have tea and chat or browse my library if you need to. I'll say this one thing, don't isolate yourself- it won't do you any good. " and there was a sort of solemn and expression of sadness in his facial features, as if saying he knew and understood , " I had to figure out that the hard way." And his mood changed back to normal, as quick as it had dropped, " Well, I must be going now. "

And with that he made his exit from her and through the maze of the library to the hallway which smelled ominously of blood - and he didn't have the patience to deal with the source. He sighed dramatically, and then stealthily made his way to his room. And he shut the door behind him, knowing Brosc would be following with a sort of snicker or smug look on his face and he didn't want to see it. He was a bit annoyed that they got caught, annoyed that he didn't get more time with Brosc or get more kisses, and absolutely peeved that he didn't get more than that. To say he was going to be in a rather grumpy and foul mood because he was effectively cockblocked was an understatement.

Mentions : Brosc

" What in the everlasting Tartarus and absolute fuck did you do my neck! " Tatsuya shrieked from the bathroom as he took in his form. There were a couple teeth marks on his neck and near his shoulder. And then multiple large love bites scattered about his neck along with smaller ones. " Do you know how long it takes these things to go away, Two weeks, TWO WEEKS - DAMNIT. Why the fuck does it look like some ravenous creature attacked me, the hell were you thinking?! You're goddamn lucky that's it's cold and I can manage to hide these, ugh." He was pacing aroud the restroom like a madman at the moment, trying to figure out his next move when he notice just exactly how bad his shirt was messed up.

" And you owe me a new blouse you uncivilized creature. Fuck you for ruining my favorite shirt. Do you have any idea how expensive it was? The thread count alone! I am so close to throwing you off a building right now, how would you like it if I tore up your favorit article of clothing. The one thing I ask is if you want to bed me is, don't rip my clothes like a savage unless you want to die twice by my hands." And he gave a dramatic exhale, as he took off the shirt, pants, and shoes he was wearing for a warm and fluffy light pink robe. His neck was slightly exposed and curls pressed against his neck and you could see the rather suggestive love bites trailing around his neck and collarbone. And the v-neck of the robe also exposed his bare chest a bit.

His ranting was done but he was still a bit huffy and he purposefully ignored Brosc who was probably laying on his bed by now, his back was turned away form Brosc and hands on his hips as he stared into the closet for the extra outfit he had brought in case of an emergency (thinking he might ruin his shirt when eating, not by making out). It was a form fitting black dress, with a rather pretty look, the dress had a pretty ruffled look at the top before just completely being long and beautiful. The bottom having rather thick and lovely black fabric. Not to mention it had a rather, nice slit on the left that came up to his thigh. He took the dress and went into the restroom, and putting the dress on he had to sigh. Some of his neck was rather exposed and you could still see the markings. He hadn't brought any makeup so he really couldn't cover it, and he didn't want to ask any of the ladies to borrow it otherwise it would cause suspicion.

He sighed aggravated. He then noticed the red choker on his neck and took it off as it didn't match his outfit. And he sighed, looks like he would have to use his hair to distract from the marks on his neck or at least wear a cloak for a bit. After all it was a bit chilly in the underground meeting room, so that worked out in his favor. He was keeping the same heels and jewelry, so it was fine, as the necklace distracted from his neck a bit as well. He hummed softly as he went back to the closet and grabbed a very nice cloak and wrapped it around him. Unknown to him, a few of the higher marks were still visible, and also he forgot to fix his slightly smudged lipstick and his hair was always poofy but it was poofier than normal. He then decided it was time to stop delaying the meeting.

Taking a breath he focused on the use of his power. See, he had trained and perfected the use of his power to be able to use his complulsion even from afar and on a rather large amount of people. Of course it took more energy, but it lessens the usage of having to use it on each single person or gathering them up. He could see the many different colored cords and thicknesses of them. And he began to softy pluck at each one with a gentleness yet firmness as if worming his way into their brains. His eyes always glowed a bright violet hue when his powers were in use, unless he chose to hide his sheen for stealthy reasons.

" The meeting will commence in five minutes. Head to the underground meeting room, all are expected to be there in attendance. Blood-Gifters that are here are also expected to attend, as their will be a discussion on their welfare and future. No squabbles or petty arguments between classes will be tolerated. This is orders from your Grand Duke, you would do well do obey them. "

It was a simple message. Yet spoken in a smooth, soft-spoken tone of voice - yet, there was that underlying confidence in it. The words were honied in the reception as if coaxing and luring - daring them to defy, be disobedient or defy his will. The persuasiveness was there but skillfully hide . He truly knew how to hide his power when needed. But just by the voice they would hear whispering in the backs of their brain, they could tell it was him , unless they just didn't know him personally. It was also an homage to his power, considering that he was technically a young vampire but he could even wriggle his way into even the most stubborn of minds.

And with that message sent, he was on his way down to the meeting room. And soon he arrived. There were six thrones. One in the middle being a grand and lovely throne, obviously for the Royal Consort to be seated in and beside it was a similar throne but smaller, one for the current Queen. And then on the left side of the Royal Consorts throne were two red and golden elegant throne-like chairs for her most trusted Archduke and Archduchess. And he took a seat in one of those chairs. And on the side of the Queen were another set of red throne-like chairs for the other two Archduke and Archduchess.

As Justicars were expected to protect the higher ups, they would be posted around the room for security. And the table was seated by hierarchy, with those higher up having the seats at the head of the table and those lower having a seat at the end. The order went like this: High Ladies, High Lords , High-Harem , Harem , Blood-Gifters, Childes [ By Order Of The Rank OF Vampire That Turned Them ] , Low Ladies, & Low Lords. The kitchen had already plated the grand table and were prepared to bring out the food, blood-wine, and regular wine for the guests when they arrived. Now all it was a matter of waiting for them to do so, and all the vampires knew that he expected to be greeted with his title because it was proper etiquette. And they would rue the day they didn't use it properly.

Let The Meeting Begin.

Eugene | 124+ | M | King | Golden Sun Class

Mentions: NPC Vampires and Open

Screams. Hearing them beg for mercy. Blood splattering against the ground.

That's all the noise entering the man's ears and with a sigh of annoyance leaving his bloodstained lips. His nose shook as he inhaled the fresh blood, his lips coiling into a wicked grin. His gloved fingers gently caress the neck of another, tickling their skin to relax their tense body. Stifled cries ruin his little moment, which causes the man to huff in feigned hurt. The tall man kneels in front of the other vampire, his green eye focused on the dirty, wet face of the man. Watching the tears roll down his grimy cheeks was an enjoyable sight, bringing an odd sensation filling his body. It made him shudder with pleasure. Seeing someone so weak and pitiful made him fill with unmatched glee. "Such a disgusting piece of filth." The tone of his voice exposes the fact that he's going through a sense of euphoria. Meanwhile, his undead blood is racing through his departed veins.

Watching the other vampire tremble in terror swarmed him with a sense of victory-a strong feeling of pride. He leans forward, bringing his lips close to the other, letting out a cold gust of wind from his lips. "Seeing you tremble makes me utmost," he pauses to twirl a thumb over the other cheeks, tilting his head down to maintain eye contact, "elated. However," his fingers roll down to his neck, "you're a Blue-Blood Kin." A strong sense of disappointment riddled his eye, his fingers wrapping around the throat of the other vampire, who quickly started to beg for mercy. He was quiet while he listened. A steady hum lingered in his throat. He was having too much fun toying with the vampire. The one-eyed man was enjoying the fact he was holding the other's freedom by the string, locking the vampire up like a songbird. A bird, he's starting to grow tired.

"I'll do anything! Please, don't kill me! I'll do anything you ask of me!" He begged the taller man. The other was quiet as he considered his options. The grip on his neck tightens, with his nails scratching the flesh of the other. The blood of the chained vampire starts to leak slowly, causing the one-eyed fellow to have a mischievous smile decorating his face. His tongue slides out of his mouth, gracing his tongue along the recent injuries. He felt the blood coat his tongue, but it was bitter-it's unpleasant to his tastebuds. He had never consumed a disgusting thing in his life until now. "Are Blue-Bloods this disgusting? I never consumed such a tasteless thing before." His tongue swishes around the interior of his mouth, trying to find another ounce of flavor within it.

He was ominously quiet. The entirety of his face dropped, then sighed in disgust, giving a shake of his head. "You're no good. You're disgusting. Horrible to my tastebuds." Insulting the weakened vampire to destroy his already lowered morale. "Why would I allow a vulgar Blue-Blood to serve under me? Allow such weak, incompetent blood to serve my ever-growing kingdom?" When the second vampire did not answer, his hand clenched once. A sickening snap pierced his ears. Silence greeted him, the feeling of death spreading within the dungeon's cell. The one still alive (partially) lets out a satisfied exhale, enjoying the utter silence within the room. His hand still gripping the broken neck, "Such a weak thing. Pathetic, yet cute." This time, his lips spread into a joyous smile. He did one swift motion with his hand, tossing the inanimated body carelessly into the corner of the room.

"Lord Eugene," a voice called out to him from the other side of the metal doors, "your precious bird wishes to speak with you." Hearing the news, Eugene saunters over to the door. He opens it with one swift kick, a loud thud echoing throughout the moldy dungeons. His eye went to the dungeon guard, who interrupted his moment of silence. He points an accusing finger at the helmeted vampire. "Disturb my peace again. I'll remove your fucking tongue." He storms off in the direction of the throne room, the vampires dashing to the sides to avoid his wrath. Shoving open the doors of the abandoned manor while muttering random words to soothe his anger. He could feel the fear radiate from the others, with Eugene grinning like a madman while absorbing their fears.

Finley Neil Blake | 526 | M | Gray-Demisexual Ambi | Low Lord(Hypnosis) | Mentions; Harper(Dir), Quill(NPC/Ind), Ava(Ind+Dir), Vivienne(Ind), Tatsuya(Ind), Other Vampires(Ind).

Meeting Outfit; https://postimg.cc/gallery/9j73117

--

When Harper took his hand and Finley helped them up, he assumed that would’ve been the end of their interaction. Anyone he associated himself with would have thanked him with a nod and left the room to go and continue their day. Then again, given that he had ended up having to personally remove them from his life… Maybe it wasn’t that common of a reaction.

--

Either way, it was safe to say that Finley at least hadn’t been expecting a hug from the blood gifter. At least they were careful enough to not get any more blood on their jacket. Their face buried in his shoulder as they mumbled out thanks to him.

--

Finley rolled his eyes and allowed them to pull away as they chuckled nervously. “I… uhh… thank you. I know you are probably just looking for blood and whatnot but… Jeez, this is really unprofessional of me… I don’t even know how he—

--

And the poor mortal seemed to remember something because their laughter grew a bit. Finley raised an eyebrow, almost disinterestedly, glancing at the door for a quick moment before looking back at Harper as they hit their forehead with their hand. Finley was making sure not to stare at their eyes, despite the piercing color that so very easily stood out from the gray. He didn’t want to alarm the mortal, not when they were obviously pretty out of it already.

--

I’m— I’m sorry you had to deal with that. Stupid fuckin’ me wasn’t thinking. Go figures, right? I don’t have much money, but I promise I will pay you back if I ruined your experience!

--

And now they were insulting themself? The human was surely prone to self-loathing then, there was no doubt about that. The smack, the words- Perhaps some kind of survivor’s guilt based off of the situation with Quill? Or maybe it wa something that ran deeper than that and Quill had taken advantage of it? Frankly, that seemed more likely. They kept mentioning payment, money… They don’t have much money… Ah. That made sense now. Finley should probably reply before they think he is ignoring them and wants nothing to do with them.

--

Before he can speak though, he can smell another vampire coming near the door and within seconds, they’re coming in. Based on smell and appearance alone, Finley was fairly certain she was a shifter class. What was she doing all the way away from her group? This certainly wasn’t the shifters’ designated meeting spot. And sure, yes, it wasn’t his either but Finley found that he often couldn’t deal with the stupidity that others had before the actual meeting so he went off by himself to go and tidy up a bit. Like he’d been doing before this whole situation.

--

He took in the vampire’s appearance, quickly finding her to be from the Harem rank. Someone who outranked him, just as Harper technically did. Perfect. Just the type of idiot he was hoping to avoid. And by the way her pupils were dilated, well, she must be near feral! Wasn’t this just turning out to be a fine course of events? Ah. Sarcasm. What a wonderful thing.

--

I really hope you don't plan on spending any valuable time with that human.” The pupils weren’t dilated anymore, now they were slitted like a snake. This certainly wasn’t good.

--

This was proven true when she grabbed Harper from behind and held them in back at the collarbone, arm slung around them. Her gaze locked onto him, and he could fully read what she was about to say within her grayed gaze.

--

I think it would be in your best interest if you'd leave us be. I like to feed undisturbed.

--

And hadn’t he just stopped this with Quill? Dear moons, the blood gifter was bound to have a heart attack and die of that before anyone left this room, if not die of blood loss.

--

Well, with a promise of payment Finley simply couldn’t let that happen. Plus, those blue eyes the only color he was capable of seeing were too… Well… They were too valuable to him. In a more, sentimental way, and it had been far too long since he’d done anything for a sentimental reason. So, he might as well as see.

--

He would rather hate to have to use his ability again though, so say something first, then see how thick the thread is, and then reinforce what he said with his ability. It would require less power, though he frankly had plenty to spare. He didn’t go around wasting it. Unlike she must’ve, given the look in her eyes that says that she had recently fed and yet was already so close to going feral yet again.

--

I would, Lady Cadieux, but you see… That human is my blood gifter, and I rather don’t like to share with people that can’t keep themselves in control even when they’ve already fed. Go find someone who doesn’t mind, hm? There’s enough blood in here already, and I’d rather like to see if I can at least try and clean it up before the meeting. Which, by the way, perhaps you should go to? You’re quite the ways away from the other shifter class vampires.” His voice was indifferent throughout it all, apathetic and cold. Just like the gray that tarnishes his sight.

--

He allowed his pupils to go white again, and he quickly caught sight of her thread. It was about average, if not the tiniest bit thicker. For a high tier hypnosis class such as himself though? Such a thread could be taken ahold of with ease. So he slipped it on, his pupils going from white to a glowing silver, and he tugged ever so slightly to make sure it was a secure connection. Nothing the harem member would notice, of course, such an act could be dangerous. After making sure the hold was secure but hidden, nothing more than allowing him to subtly and indiscreetly push her towards listening.

--

Could I perhaps suggest going back to your fellow shifter class? Or to one of the archdukes or duchesses? Or perhaps to one of the others in the harem? Surely any of them would be willing to lend you some blood, Lady Cadieux. That would solve everyone’s problem then, wouldn’t it now?

--

Finley kept eye contact with the vampire, Lady Ava Cadieux, and waited for her to speak. To agree and listen. His side of the simple thread was certainly stable enough to warrant such a response to be reasonable. Times like this, being a high tier hypnosis class was definitely helpful.

Garvin | 21 | M | Brinsexual Ambi | Blood Gifter(Suya) | Mentions; Jayco(Dir), Suya(Ind), Devery(Ind), Other Vamps(Very Ind).

Meeting Outfit; https://postimg.cc/gallery/Fcn9LBj

--

The frown on Jayco’s face was enough to make him regret his words. Too late to take them back now. Besides, the truth was harsh sometimes. It was usually harsh.

--

What'd you mean it doesn't matter?

--

And great… The very topic Garvin didn’t want to think about. Ever. Damn, he should’ve used this time to go and hang out with Levy again. It’d been a while since he last saw or heard from him. The dude probably thought he was dead. Ha. As if. Not yet.

--

Apparently, he must’ve really upset Jayco, because the claws pierced skin. He didn’t flinch, he didn’t react. Ignoring the new circumstance of a vampire, it wasn’t the first time.

--

What'd you mean your name's not important? Are you planning to get me to admire you, then you suddenly vanish to torment me?

--

And then Jayco was pinning him to the couch, hand around his neck, not nearly tight enough to kill. Garvin wanted to explain, wanted this to be because of a different situation. Nothing he could say would be good enough, this wasn’t what he was used to. Though, to be fair, he wasn’t used to someone caring about his name.

--

If you dare leave without saying anything, I'll kill you with the hands attached to my limbs.

--

And though the words were violent, Jayco was instantly kissing him. Just as quickly though, the vampire was pulling away, muttering to himself.

--

Garvin was tempted to pull the vampire back, to clear his head of whatever it was that was causing him to be upset… It wasn’t his place though. And at this point? He was fairly certain it never would be. Jayco did kiss his neck again though, so at least there was that..? It didn’t mean anything.

-

How can you not give me a name? Am I not interesting enough for you?

--

And Garvin opened his mouth to speak, because no. That definitely wasn’t it. Other way around, dense shit. But none of that was exactly good to say, and frankly? Way too vulnerable for him. Plus, Jayco was licking the blood from his torso and that was definitely something Garvin hadn’t thought he’d experience. Ever. 10/10, he would totally recommend it.

--

Unfortunately, Jayco climbed off and away from him. Garvin sat up slowly, eyeing the vampire who was about as unstable as his financial state. Which was very. It almost caused him to snicker, despite the situation. Almost. He had more self-control than that. Besides, the look on Jayco’s face was a familiar one. The one that he was trying to avoid. Any moment now Jayco would be telling him to leave, to never come back, and Garvin would listen. Of fucking course he would, he wasn’t in the mood to die right now. Believe it or not.

--

I got carried away. It's best if we separate for now.

--

…For now? His eyebrows furrowed and he watched the vampire. For now? Not permanently? How was he even supposed to process that? His eyes stared, unsure of just how to continue. This wasn’t normal, nothing was really normal with him though. Or with Jayco. Jayco was coco- Ah, Coco! Total nickname material! Garvin snickered at the idea, momentarily forgetting about the situation through years of practice at deflecting.

--

Coco was walking towards the bear, speaking. “Just attend the damn party. I need a moment of isolation.” And then Coco was walking back over, sitting down on the couch and dragging the bear with him, carving the hide.

--

Garvin grabbed the bottle from earlier. Situation reinstated in his mind, where he definitely didn’t want it. He took a sip from it, and glanced at the vampire still carving. He might as well try to fix it now if he was being serious about the ‘for now’. What were the questions again?

--

Ah, yeah, his name. Why it isn’t important. Coco not being interesting or something. He gave a small, mirthless snort and took another sip. How was he even supposed to explain? Should he explain? Was it better to just leave and hope for the best? As if that would do anything. If he wanted anything, Garvin had to either steal it, lie for it, or work for it. And unfortunately, lying and stealing weren’t an option here.

--

He huffed, and got comfortable on the couch. If Coco wanted him out then he’d have to throw him, that was the one thing Garvin was sure about. He glanced around the room, took a sip, and picked up his signature grin.

--

Ya know when someone’s got a secret an’ ya do everythin’ ya can ta get it from ‘em? Only ta find out ya didn’t really wanna know? Or that it’s not as cool a secret as ya thought?” He glanced at Coco before his gaze landed on the bottle and stayed there. It was easier that way. But hey, if he was going to look at it then he might as well as take another sip.

--

So before continuing, he did. Monty definitely wouldn’t be happy with him if he found out about any of this. Garvin would probably laugh when that happens. “My name’s like that. Wanted ta save ya the trouble of figurin’ out ya didn’t actually wanna know or care ‘bout it. Seriously though, Coco, I ain’t goin’ back in there for as long as fuckin’ possible. Place is a whole ass maze, I swear.

--

Silence stretched after he finished. He shrugged, taking another sip, and then gave a breathy laugh. “If ya still wanna know though, my name’s Garvin, an’ it’s been a dream meetin’ ya.

--

He paused, thinking about it. While Coco wouldn’t be dying anytime soon, wasn’t going to be forgotten when he did… Honorary members still existed- Like Levy, and he actually had a last name. So he grinned, amusement trickling into his voice. “Lookin’ forward ta seein’ more of ya, if ya actually meant the ‘for now’ jizz, Blank Slate.

--

The amusement was gone from his grin at the last words, a mirthless one in its place. He could’ve sworn the blank, corroding tombstone patched onto the back of his jacket was burning a hole through him. Despite him knowing for a fact that it wasn’t on fire. He was quiet for a moment, before glancing at Coco and speaking again, his humor back in a quick second. It was the only thing he really had. “Hey, d’ya ever realize that the reason there’s more than one way ta apologize is ‘cause of funerals? Say ya sorry ta someone at one and ya fine, but that ya apologize? Hope ya can run, ‘cause no one’s happy. Least of all the guy ya killed.

Harper Carnell | 21 | Genderfluid (she/him) | Pansexual Ambi | Blood-Gifter

M: Finley + Ava (dir)

Harper did not even notice the woman until she was practically right behind him. She wore much more expensive clothing than both the woman who fed off of him previously and his savior. Red hair was elegantly flowing with her step yet her pale blue eyes, that were similar to not only his own but to the man-in-white’s calm eyes, held no mercy and only malice that had slits for pupils. Harper could not help but shiver and tense under her eyes.

As soon as Harper glanced at the other man in search of an excuse, Harper found herself giving a short gasp for air as she was tugged back into the woman and found it a bit harder to breathe as her pale, icy hands wrapped around Harper’s throat. Squirming in her grasp to try to at least make herself a bit more comfortable, Harper just tried to be as submissive to the woman as possible in hopes that she would allow her hero, one of the few people she actually trusted in the moment, to stay.

Maybe it was not right to believe him as a savior though? Was it wrong to idolize someone she had just met? Harper could feel a strong else of deja-vu as a memory resurfaced in Harper’s brain.

~~~~~
“Look, I don’t have a lot of blood to give you right now,” Harper mumbled gently pushing the person’s chest away despite her hands being so weak from both the lack of blood and influx of alcohol that there was barely any force behind it. “Just go away already….”
“Hey now, do you really want to pass up having a fun time with me?~” they chuckled as a response, inching closer as if to either kiss Harper or spell the alcohol on her breath as they placed a hand on her waist and scooted their chair closer to hers. “Plus, you’re looking so tasty right now.” The vampire was salivating, drool practically seeping from the corner of their lips as their nails dug into her waist.
“Please, I really can’t—”
“Come on, it’ll be just a wittle nibble!~” The vampire grazed their canine teeth along Harper’s neck. “You won’t feel a—”
“Hey fleabag,” a man growled as he slammed his hand onto the bar table behind the vampire causing both the vampire and Harper to flinch, “they said to get lost.” The vampire tensed and his golden eyes became wide as the man lowered himself to his pointed triangle, dog-like ears before whispering in a husky and threatening voice. “Now scram before the pound needs to put down another runaway mutt.”
The vampire emitted a low grow deep within his throat as his ears were pinned back as far as they could go. The man just stood there, towering over him and glared. Finally giving a huff in defeat, the vampire slid off of the stool, chugged the rest of Harper’s drink, and slammed the stool to the ground before they scampered off with their tail tucked between their legs. The man shook his head and Harper just stared in amazement at him with wide, sparkling eyes. After sitting the stool back up, there was an awkward silence between the two as the man sat down next to Harper.
“I uhh—”
“Shifters, am I right?”
The man’s sudden comment threw off Harper so much that Harper could not help but burst into laughter.
“Did I say something wrong?” the man asked with a chuckle as Harper muffled his laughter with his hand but could not help but snort and laugh harder. “Hey, don’t laugh! I am trying to break the ice here!!”
“No, no you’re good! You just— I didn’t expect you to say that!” Harper giggled, still unable to contain himself. Harper looked away for a moment, glancing at the five empty glasses of beer as the man tilted his head and gave Harper a slightly worried expression, as Harper played with white strands of his hair before looking back at the man with an awkward smile. “That and I am probably just a liiiittle tipsy so everything is funny.”
“Yiiikes… that’s a lot of beer for someone so tiny.”
“Ouch.”
“No offense.”
“Well full offense taken,” Harper huffed with a playful grin as she scooted a bit closer to the man.
“Tell you what,” the man said, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a wallet, his red eyes tracing Harper up and down as heat rose to her face from the attention, “I will pay for all your previous beers if you can ever find it in your heart to forgive me for calling you tiny.”
“Mhmmm… I think I still need more convincing…~”
“I’ll buy another beer for you, too?”
“You’ve got a deal then, pretty boy~” Harper cooed, his mind already buzzed and his thoughts becoming busy with thoughts on this stranger. The man signaled to the bartender and asked for more beer in a hushed voice. Harper could not help but drink in the features of the tall man— his savior. Though the man only told the canine vampire off and paid for his drinks, Harper was already looking at the man through rose colored glasses and not his realistic blue colored goggles and saw him as a hero. Naturally, Harper felt entirely indebted to him already. “Hey… uh… thanks. Thanks a lot. I owe you a lot for that… Look, I don’t have a lot of money, but I can—”
“No need to thank me,” he replied as he slid a beer to Harper who gladly took it. The man rested his chin on his palm and his elbow on the bar as he watched Harper. Maybe Harper was just looking through those rose glasses but Harper was sure he was watching Harper with a loving smile. “If you are willing to talk though, I would like to know why you’re drinking so many beers.”
Harper grumbled at the statement the man made as he began sipping the beer.
“Bad day?”
Harper started gulping down the beer.
“Asshole vampire?”
Harper started to chug the beer.
“Ex?”
Harper tilted her head back to get every last drop before slamming her glass on the bar table and gasped softly for air before wiping the corner of her mouth with the heel of her hand.
Ex.”
There was an awkward silence.
“Well, your ex is missing out.”
“I’m sorry?” Harper mumbled, his heart beating faster in his chest from the little compliment. After removing those floral colored specters and looking back at the moment from the present, Harper now knew that when Quill had smiled in that moment, it was more scheming and sadistic, not genuine and gentle like the hero Harper was picturing.
“You're really funny—” Harper smiled like a dork as he twirled his hair— “so adorable—” Harper tried to hide himself in his hair as the man pulled Harper’s stool closer to his own— “and— my Goddess— you are stunning.” The man moved Harper’s hair out of his face as he stared into Harper blue eyes with his own blood colored ones, cupping Harper’s face in his hands. Harper was speechless as he just melted at his touch. “What’s your name, Gorgeous?~”
“Harper…,” Harper practically sighed her name as she was barely able to speak let alone say anything else.
“Harper? I like that name,” the man whispered as he drew closer to Harper, still holding Harper’s face in his hands as she melted into him like butter on roasting black cement. “My name’s Quill. What do you say we make your ex jealous and you come stay at my place for a little?~”
“Hell yeah…~” Harper replied in a trace that she would not have been able to break away from for over a year now.
~~~~~

“Lady and very gentle man, there is plenty of me to go around…!” Harper strained, hoping to ease the tension that she could feel rising in the room as she finally returned from the brief memory lane that was Harper’s first meeting of Quill before she began to date him. Memory aside, nothing was more important than making sure these two would not fight over Harper because that could only end in a mess like with one of Harper’s scars between his ribs. “No, need to get territorial or start drama over a human like me! Please…?”

Suddenly, the man spoke. With a calm tone and an assertive voice as he went so far as to claim that Harper was his blood-gifter, Harper could not help but relax a bit even as the woman’s hands were wrapped tightly around his throat. Harper could not help but smile brightly as he made sure to hang onto each word the man spewed like he was a pastor spreading the word of the Goddess and moons above. Harper did not know anything about this Lady Cadieux woman, but from what Harper could gather, the man-in-white did not like her much at all, treating her almost like how Harper treats his little siblings with cold anger barely restrained in his words, not the bubbling anger that boils up and burns those in the nearby vicinity but the cold, unsettling kind that sends others into shivers.

As the man’s pupils went white, Harper came to the realization that not only was this man using his powers to protect Harper once but twice. Harper watched in awe as his eyes sparkled with amazement. Harper’s smile pushed their eyes up so that it seemed her eyes were smiling too as she mouthed “thank you” as silently as possible.

Ava was almost tempted to sink her fangs within the flesh of this gifter, one could see the tip of her fangs peering through her smirk, inching closer and closer to the frail skin of the victim within her grasp. She was waiting impatiently for the vampire to reply, or leave, either was appreciated. However, what she didn't appreciate was all this silence, she was getting rather bored of it, and had other things to focus on rather than waiting for someone to come to their senses and speak.

Softly, the Harem lifted her hand, and gently brushed the gifter's hair back behind their ear, and proceeded to stroke his hair out of the way, exposing his neck. She couldn't help but stare at it, her eyes locked onto the soft skin.. she could hear his beating heart, it was such a soothing sound. It would have sounded even better once she sunk her fangs into their flesh, even thinking about their rushing heart beat was beginning to rile her up.

Protruding fangs creeped out of Ava's malicious smile, and just as she was about to sink her teeth into her victim, the vampire in front of her spoke, and she couldn't help but listen with an irritated expression. Rolling her eyes, her fangs retreated back within her smile. "Control? I am in compl-" she began to speak, but stopped herself when he finished.

"Which, by the way, perhaps you should go to? You’re quite the ways away from the other shifter class vampires.

The grip on the human tightened, her fingers beginning to dig into their muscle. Chuckling hoarsly, Ava took another step back, forcing the unfortunate soul in her arms to take a step back with her. Maybe she would just feed on this wretched thing in front of his face, she wondered how he'd react. Would get get angry and lash out? Or would he stare and watch the show...

As the vampire's pupils quickly shifted into a lethal shade of white, a deep growl eminated from within her lungs, and her grip on the human tightened even more so. She knew she couldn't completely resist a Hypnosis' power. As much as she wished, she didn't have the power to deflect that kind of strength... yet.

"We'll surely meet again," she whispered into the Gifter's ear, before shoving him to the side unwillingly. Ava sent a nasty glance towards the human's way before she took a few steps towards the towering Hypnosis. Staring up at him, she chuckled softly. She knew pretty quickly that he was no rank above her, someone above her would have certainly kicked her ass, or would have really ripped into her.

Ava smirked, and patted the vampire on his shoulder, and began to walk away, but she slowly stopped before she was nearly halfway to the door. "Oh~."

Glancing behind her shoulder to look at the vampire, if her smile didn't already scream "sadistic" it did now. Her eyes seemed to grow brighter as if they were excited, "You can't save them all," she spoke while looking directly at the human. Once slitted pupils, she blinked once, and it would have seemed if she had no pupils at all for just a second.. but after yet another blink, they had gone to their original, normal state.

Scoffing with a smile, Ava took her leave. She lifted a hand, waving it back and forth before disappearing behind the door, disappearing into the dark hallway.

Tossing a frail, limp body to the floor, Ava gasped, breathing heavily. "Truly disgusting," she hissed. Did she perhaps just wolf down some human's blood, ignoring the fact it was absolutely disgusting? Yes. Of course she did. She wasn't some fool to let herself become so feral she couldn't even control herself, she was an asshole and she most certainly was one on purpose. But she would never stoop that low.

She grabbed a rag off of the table, and began casually wiping the blood off of her face and neck. Her electric blue eyes no longer had a crazed look within them, they looked more relaxed, calm, and controlled rather than before. She couldn't say the same thing about the corpse below, their eyes were frozen in absolute fear, and a few dead tears trickled down their cold cheeks. The absolute pain they must've been in. An entire bite-sized chunk of flesh had been ripped out from the side of the poor thing's neck, exposing bone and tendons. Ava could say it was a quick, and painless death, but she'd be lying. She had made sure their death was long and excrutiating, the longer they squirmed, struggling to get out from her grasp, the more they would have bled out and the easier it was to drink their blood. Regardless of their taste, Ava was no longer on the edge, her thirst was finally replenished.

"Hopefully you weren't anyone important," she muttered as she licked her blood stained lips.

The Harem sat back in the chair, draping her arm over her forehead, taking in a few breathes to calm herself down. She could feel an itching pain to just go out and about and cause absolute chaos just for the hell of it, but the Hypnosis back there was right. There was a meeting they all had to attend to, and Ava planned on making an appearance.
