Calemira Light Dragon | Female | Mentions: Vasuki, Rinecess
A soft chuckle, light and airy, almost melodic, left the dragon's lips as she shook her head slightly at the male's antics. "Oh never, my dear. Never," he was a bit of a show off when he wanted, though he truly preferred his solitude, away from the prying eyes of others. But when others were not around, why not give them a good show?
She remained settled in her normal place and nodded into the clearing, "I believe my human is over there, but I cannot tell for sure quite yet." Her voice trailed off the end in certainty, a bit wary that whoever she chose would not be pleased with receiving such a small dragon. There was nothing she could do about that though, so she forced herself to relax as Vasuki left the security of the force and entered the field.
As he rose onto his hind legs, she allowed her eyes to close for a moment, the glow of her scales increasing vibrantly until she mirrored the sun in it's brightness. Unlike the bright yellow glow of the sun, Mira's light was a white light with the barest hint of something pearlescent to it, a kaleidoscope of colors dancing in the light she produced. She remained hidden on his back as he posed, though the light framed the larger male, continuing to do so as he lowered himself to the ground, and giving her the ability to step down from where she rested.
Without much hesitation, the female shifted and gracefully slid from the male's figure, nudging him gently in the neck with her snout. "I will see you then," she purred, a soft rumbling in her throat, before she turned her attention towards the crowd. Any of them looking at her would see little more than the light surrounding her, and she preferred it that way for the moment as she sought out her human.
It took mere seconds before her eyes locked onto the petite woman standing against the boulder she had earlier been perched on. So it had been her. She thought to herself before beginning to walk towards the white blonde girl. As she did the light dulled, eventually fading altogether as she reached her, revealing her own petite alabaster form.
"Hello, there," she greeted quietly as the bond snapped into place as she made eye contact with the girl. She stared at her for a moment before covered eyes shifted in the direction Vasuki had gone, instinctively checking on him to be sure he, and everyone around him, were safe. A soft chuckle rolled from her at the sight she saw, before turning her attention back to the woman in front of her.
"I am Calemira, you may call me Mira though. And you?"

⸻「 Valine 」⸻ Female || Earth Dragon || 106 Years || Mentions: Mircea, Roxxane { ind. }, Dan { ind. } Other Riders { Ind. } Other dragons { Ind. } ⸻ In front of Valine, the human below her took notice to her voice, and turned around, looking up at her in awe. For a moment she didn't understand why the human was so excited to see her, however, she shortly began to answer her own question. Unlike some dragons, humans are more naturally excited when they see their own dragon. However, she certainly wasn't prepared for what was to come shortly. Measly? Weak? I am no such thing, I've seen bigger fire dragons than this one on my Aunt's expeditions. Your scales are super pretty! Oh my stars, I have my own dragon! Appreciative that the man spoke of the beauty of her scales, her lips had a slight curvature, hinting she was pleased with his praise. Indeed you do. Honestly, Valine was quite surprised the human was speaking so fluently through their connection. Some other students she had seen in the past struggled to truly speak through the connection, oddly. But she too was pleased along with that, it was nice she could communicate to someone rather than dung-beetle stinking dragons. I don't care if it seems foolish if I jumped in front of this dragon, I haven't seen this girl in ages. And she was scared for a reason - so I don't want her to be uncomfortable. It may not seem like it now but she'd do the same for me if the situation was reversed. Glancing over towards the girl, and the Fire Dragon, which seemed no doubt to be her dragon, she had a slight puzzled look on her scaled face. I don't seem to understand. Why would you think that is foolish? Protecting someone you dearly love is the opposite of foolishness. Unless you give her roasted rat when she wanted charred lamb, then that would be foolish. As the man looked towards his friend, or lover... he said friend- wait. No. He only had said "she". Gasp. Does he have a lover? Children? Future children? Oo! She would love to have a rider with children.. then she could coddle them till their last breath, ack! They'd be so cute... However, her little thoughts of squishing children was fun, she focused on other things as she glanced over towards the Fire Dragon, whom her rider began to apologize to. How earnest of him. But she could see that the Fire Dragon was not angry, or upset with the rider.. but.. upset? She couldn't tell if the dragon was upset with the girl, the boy, or herself. She began to grow concerned for the dragon, as she saw him shed a few tears or so. Poor fella. Valine's chest rumbled, a deep, soothing growl. She'd attempt to comfort the poor fellow, but before she could do anything, her rider began to move, away from them, towards someone else. Was that the human that collided with him earlier? Or was it someone else? Oh.. too many riders to tell. Oh. But she knew exactly what that angered, fiery dragon was doing. Chasing down that boy no less. But, her rider stepped in. Snorting, the dragon lifted her head up, staring her rider, and the other fellow down. Some may have taken it as an aggressive stance, but she was just keeping an eye on her human. She would refuse to let anything happen to him. "Come on, Roxanne and my dragon are over here." Tilting her head to the side, as would a dog questioning what their human was saying, she smiled faintly. 'My dragon.' It felt good to hear that, especially when he was referring to herself. It made her feel good. Making his way back over towards Valine, he had an excited expression, hyped up about something. My name is Mircea Crylor and this is my gift to you as your Rider. He spoke to her, and began to rummage through his bag, only to lift out a small collection of what seemed to be golden horn rings. They belonged to my grandfathers' and fathers' dragons, I hope you like them. Valine was silent, staring blankly at them. One would think she was confused, and or disappointed. For she was the opposite! Inside, she was worrying that she did not bring her own rider a gift as well! Damn it! Oh what could she give him... she thought, continually staring blanky at his hands, not even paying attention to what her expression could be saying in her place or the boy's sheepish face. That was until she had an idea for a gift. Blinking her eyes a few time, she smiled. Hello, Rider Mircea Crylor. I am your dragon, a dragon class of the Earth Dragons. And I too come bearing a gift. Turning her head back aagainst her shoulder, she extended her head as far as she could, latching her teeth onto one of her black armored spikes. She tugged a small bit, and with another forceful jerk, she held an armored spike in her teeth, and presented it to Mircea. She placed it into his open heads, then took a step backwards. She knelt onto her front knee, and held her head downwards so Mircea could reach her curled horns.

⸻「 Rinecess 」⸻ Female || Rider || 18 Years || Mentions: Calemira, Vasuki { ind. } Other Riders { ind. } Honestly, who could believe their eyes in this very moment? Came down a dark dragon, his graceful body movements were all so beutiful, yet his coloring had set off a different tone. By the colors, and his size, there was no doubt he was one of those.. what were they? Dragons of the Dark Class? They were rare, so whomever would be chosen by one of them would be quite lucky. It didn't take long until Rin took notice to a bright light behind the beast. It was blinding almost, you couldn't look directly at the light without a slight pang of pain in your eyes. It was bright, powerful and nonetheless admiring. As much as it would hurt, Rinecessa couldn't look away, it was much too attracting to look away from. But, she began to be confused... a Dark Class dragon emitting such a light, and so... lively of such light? Was there someone ontop of him, or behind him? He couldn't be the one doing that- could he? It wasn't long until something slid off of it's back, another dragon. Hold up. Was a dragon... riding yet another dragon? Could it not fly? Or was it afraid of flying? .. Or was it lazy. Lazy seemed more probable. It had nudged the dark dragon, and began to look around. It still had light surrounding her, not quite as blinding, but it was surely still there. And yet, Rin couldn't look away. However, she began to notice how small the dragon was, but she knew it wasn't abnormal for that specific dragon's race. The Light Dragon. It was amazing to see a Light on the back of a Dark, maybe they were friends, or closer. But, Rin was not interested in some dragons life, unless it was hers of course. Than she'd be more invested to learn more about its past. Not soon after, the Dragon glanced in Rinecessa's direction, only to have its eyes lock onto Rin. She didn't understand. Was she weird looking? Did she have something in her hair or something- then it all made sense. Just as the Light Dragon looked into her direction, it began to stride over towards her, the light surrounding it dulling as it neared. Its entire appearance was now visible while all that light was gone, and Rin was dead silent. Amazed. Appalled. A stem of joy peaked up inside her. The dragon's white scales were absolutely beautiful... it had golden accessories it seemed, but Rin couldn't get over how majestic this dragon truly was. Despite its short size, it was quite the sight. "Hello, there." Did it... speak to her? She couldn't see whether its lips were moving or not, and she became puzzled, and her face sure expressed that. It spoke once again, "I am Calemira, you may call me Mira though. And you?" Much too stunned to speak, Rin stood there silent. Her body was still, and quiet. All up until~ "Holy shit. Your- talking to me.. wait, are you the dragon whom has chosen me? Oh- I uh- am Rinecessa.. you can call me Rin for short, everyone does.- " Wait, did she just speak.. without speaking? Did her lips even move? How- wait, is this the linking of the Rider and Dragon's mind? ... this really was her dragon? She was too amazed to speak.

Aeolus | Air Dragon | 250 | Male | Mentions: Hartley, Other Dragons (ind.) , Other Riders (ind.) A young male dragon rested rather peacefully in his den. It was a den in the mountains - well above the clouds. It was large and spacious, and he loved it. While he enjoyed the den it also brought somber memories- memory that the den used to house other dragons with him and they were gone. He sighed a bit thinking about his mother and father who died by trappers and his older sister who just went missing afterwards. He was alone - and he didn't like being alone. Aeolus has flew miles upon miles to find his sister - earning a total of four scars : an angry claw mark lingered on his tail, a small laceration along his side, a rather inconspicuous crescent shaped scar on his chest, but his most prominent one was the three lined claw mark under his right eye. It was rather noticeable and the scar he was conscious of the most. He grumbled just at the thought of it. He was going to see if he could find his Rider today and he prayed to the stars that he did. He went over to his rather large stash, a large messenger bag caught his eye. He thought about how he had found it abandoned in a rather distant land. He used his snout to open it - and he began putting items in it : first two rather advanced books on the study of dragons their exquisite golden lettering glittering ( he wanted to see what humans thought of them - sue him) - he remembered how a scholar had exchanged those books with him for some directions. The next item was a sack of precious gems, jewels, and minerals he had found over the course of his quest to find his sister, he knew there were emeralds and sapphires in there with possible a garnet and jade stone. He noticed he had some rather fancy ink he hadn't opened and decided to put it in the bag, he wondered if his human would like the gifts. The gift that held his touch was a pristine fang necklace. He then proceeded to close his bag and took a deep breath. It was time for him to make his way to the Ceremony - he was already late as is. He then took the bag in his jaws, and as best he could got it around his neck. He then made his way to the cliff side and took one last look at his home, "Goodbye." He said softly before he took the step off the cliff. He folded his wings and let gravity let him plummet down, and the with grace he opened them and glided over the trees leaving a rather nice breeze in their wake. And he began to climb up into the sky and pumped his wings upwards. The soft tinkling of his jewelry could be heard. You see he had made an effort to look nice for his rider : he had placed a jeweled tail clasp on that was silver and had beautiful golden chains and three diamonds that dangled from them (he'd rather not say where he got it) , he had precious silver horn rings with blue stones engraved in them adorning a few of his horns (they belonged to his mother) along with the silver wrist cuffs and sapphire ring.
He was above the clouds before he knew it, and he took in the endless blue sky with a smile before flipping upwards to take a dive, and letting his ice breath release a bit - as he twirled in the air as he did so. He hoped it was a rather spectacular sight. The coldness of his breath probably falling down rather prettily and he swooped down and the cold air probably left a chill for the humans and dragons below. And he circled above using his keen eyesight to try and single out his human. Then he felt a tug and his eyes came upon a rather young boy with wild curls atop his head, and felt his heart melt with adoration and excitement at the sight. He noted there were two fire dragons and an earth dragon surrounding the group. A small growl of annoyance escaping him, but he made a decisive move and he quickly made his way to his rider and grabbed him by the back of his shirt and flew up with him just a bit , he didn't want to scare him off just yet. He was slow and gentle with his flight to ease the human and he gently out the boy down, they were not to far from his group but just enough as to not get him into a fight with the other three dragons. He wrapped his tail around the boy and used his wing to push him forward. He wanted to get a better look at the boy. The boy had warm looking eyes, ones that valued intellect and science- and this pleased him. He inspected the boys hair noticing the curly and wildness of it, and he even preened it a bit because it was too adorable to him. The big ears sold his look even more, and Aeolus's bright eyes brightened even more at the sight as he teasingly blew a small icy breath at him.
He cranes his neck to remove his satchel. Hello, young one. I am Aeolus, your dragon and I come bearing gifts. I hope this link doesn't hurt very much. His voice was rather soothing he hoped and held a coolness to it. He nudged the bag towards him, Now what's your name curlytop? You are rather adorable for a human, I have only known you for 1 minute yet I would watch the world burn for you. And he gave a small cooing whistle as he nuzzled the young boys hair. The boy smelled of baked goods and warmth to him and it was comforting and inviting. Edited at May 29, 2022 05:48 PM by Spellbound

Roxanne Monroe Rider || Eighteen || Female || Mentions: Lira, Mircea, Dan, Michael, Dragons, Etc So very much was happening, that the poor girl could hardly keep up. What once was a composed woman, now lay a trembling girl. It wasn't the dragon that implemented fear in her, but the idea of fire. Oh, such a phobia she had of it! The girl couldn't even rest alongside of a measly stove fire without being reminded of the cruel one that took her home! Had there been a dragon of a different element, Roxanne wouldn't be as afraid, but fire? Fire? She couldn't bear it! Instead, she sat there, helpless, stuck, and surrounded by dragons. Her eyes had rested on Mircea and Mike (was it Mike? No matter, it was now). She was about to speak to them, demand help, however, she had briefly forgotten her little.. predicament. Predicament as in, she had a large dragon staring at her and he was.. tearing up? Good god, she had made her dragon cry? Could they even do such a thing? Obviously so, for one of his paws had lifted, wiping away at his eyes. She had almost felt.. bad for him. Actually, she did. Goodness, she had made a dragon cry! Was he that sensitive? What part of her words made him tear up? "Oh." She spoke (she was never good with emotions). "Oh no, uh, I'm sorry," she began, "it isn't you, it's the fire." How was she supposed to unoffend him? Would her words only make it worse? Why her? Why, oh why did she decide to come today? If she hadn't, would this have happened? What a foolish, foolish girl she was. She hadn't wanted a dragon, simply wanted to look. As a child she had wanted one, but not now. Pausing, she had heard him speak once more.. in her mind. It was odd. It was a voice, but the voice held emotion in it, something she didn't think she'd be able to hear. She expected him to be offended at first, angry even, but he was.. forgiving? Saddened? Deflated? "I will never burn you." Well, that was certainly a relief. A very large, large relief, however, not entirely. What if he accidentally set her on fire? Could she tell him to find another rider? Was it possible? What if she made him cry again. Roxanne may be cold, but was she that cruel? Dan the dragon? She suddenly questioned him, eyes widening for a moment at the telepathy. That was his name, truly? Dan? Dan the dragon? Why Dan? There was genuine confusion in her tone. It was such a simple name. So easy. It was truly his? Pausing, she glanced at his scales, to which he pointed at. Can you.. turn it on and off? The hotness? It was crucial to know. Roxanne would not have herself accidentally burning herself or catching.. fire. Dan didn't seem like a dragon. No, not at all. Dan looked like a dragon, but he didn't act like she expected one to be. In truth, she relished that thought. Maybe Dan wasn't too bad. So long as he didn't burn her or anybody she cared about, she'd be fine! He was more like a.. like a large dog, given his tail wags and the way he sat. Alright, she could handle Dan. Would she touch him? Most likely not, but she didn't mind his presence in the meantime, that is, until Mircea got involved. When he had spoken next to Dan, a chill ran down her spine. Was he mad? He was going to anger him! She couldn't have him succumb to fire.. "Sit down, you fool," she hissed at him. Had the compass been lifted from her, she would have shoved him aside, however, she was currently trapped. "You," she began, pointing to the man that had bothered Mircea earlier. The one she called Mike. "Stop gawking and get him to stand down. He's going to upset Dan." They were useless, the lot of them. If she didn't have the compass on her- Hm? What was this? Out of nowhere, an earth dragon had appeared. Then, another fire one. What was this? Who were they for? Mircea? Mike? What were the odds? Then, out of nowhere, another familiar face emerged from the crowd. This one was easier to recognize, and for a moment, she had forgotten the situation she was in. "Barns?" She had spoken under her breath before glancing to Mircea. Hartley and Mircea were here? Of course, why wouldn't they be? After all, Mircea had told her that he wasn't alone. Given the situation she was in, it must have slipped her mind, but now? She had almost waved at him. Well, she would have, had her hands not been under the compass. "Thank you," she mumbled to Mircea when he finally decided to come to her aid. It was about time, too. Her legs had begun to grow numb. "Oh, I'm wonderful," she added on, watching as he helped her lift the compass. However, her sarcasm had paused when he spoke once more, mentioning of not wanting to lose her again and whatnot. "Alright, alright, no need for the.. mushy stuff," she responded, shrugging him away, though within, she felt rather.. relieved? It was almost like old times, which she relished in.. Had very nearly smiled. That is, until Mircea spoke once more. "What'd I say about the mushy stuff?" Swatting him away, she had hauled herself onto her legs, which were rather wobbly given the weight they had on them. Friends? He still considered them friends after all of that time? It wasn't something Roxanne had expected, even as Mircea had walked off. Only for moments later to tackle Barns. She would have followed, was tempted even, however, Dan had asked her a question, to which she turned to him. What kind of question was that? Could a bad human later be a good human? "I.. Suppose. If the bad human apologizes or makes up for their mistakes, they can become good." Was that good enough? Eh, it would have to do. Of course, it depended on how bad of a human someone was, but she could explain that later. Regardless, the conversation didn't last long, for moments later, Dan had offered to hold the compass in the meantime. "Thank you." She had then noticed how pitiful the dagger looked in Dan's hand. What did dragons even like? Was she meant to get him something else? By glancing at Mircea, she had watched him hand his dragon gold. Pure gold! And she? She had offered Dan a small dagger. "I.. I can get you another gift. Something else? Er, what do you like?" How was she meant to please a dragon? It seemed her fear had turned into hopelessness.

Ryu||150||Water dragon||Male||M:Theo, Other riders and dragons(ind) Ryu looked at Theo as he move his hand. He noticed something a dark and light dragon maybe. Ryu turned his neck to look at Theo and said "Are you scared?" He noticed the smell of fear coming for the kid but wasn't sure why. He spotted many dragons but one element he hated the most was fire. Ryu sighed and looked back scanning the place. To Ryu it seems that everyone has bonded but he could be wrong. He turned to face Theo and said "Get on kid i need to check something. I will not leave you here either." Ryu laid down tucking his legs under him so Theo could get on.

He stood up shaking his body and walked up to Theo. Ryu looked him straight in the eye and said "Your going have to ride me when the announce. Also if you won't tell me what is wrong then i may have to figure it out myself." Ryu got closer to the male until he was backed up on a tree. He wasn't letting Theo out of this one easily. Ryu remembered something and said "Also dragons can't choose a different rider for their life." Ryu was growing impatient and annoyed which is normal if you test him to long. Terra Wild-Heart | 17 | female | Rider | Isabel | Lira, Isabel, Vasuki + Calemira (ind) Terra was so focused on the strange fog and light that she didn't see as her sister tackled her. Terra fell to the grass, and the wind was momentarily knocked out of her. Terra just stared wide eyed as Lira laughed and stood up. Terra smiled when Lira offered her hand. Terra took the hand, but didn't pull herself up. Terra hooked her foot behind Lira's leg, and pulled as she pretended to sit up. Terra rolled onto her sister, held her down for a moment, then sprung up. Now Terra was laughing and picking grass out from her hair. She glanced over at the beacon, only to find two dragons splitting up. Dark and light, it made sense. Terra offered her sister a hand, but was mindful of retaliation.
