Laan | M | 4 | Scout | Raven | M: Ore, Night, Brute, Sundown, Loki. >< Laan stepped out to look around again, back in to listen to Sundown's brief explanation of the recent events. "I understand." He glanced around, watching him walk around and attend to the wounded wolves as he contemplated the information. A lone wolf? He thought he smelled as much. Poor Loki. He wasn't quite the right wolf for getting into such trouble but he couldn't blame Loki for wanting to be helpful, or included in the protection of the pack. He tilted his head. "Would you like some assistance keeping one or both awake or should I go see if Night and Ore need some help?" He offered his help, not much better to do and feeling helpful at the moment. His ears twitched. He stepped in so he wouldn't block the faint light and sat down, his tail sitting crookedly. It shortly became uncomfortable and he let it splay out on the opposite side of the door so it shouldn't be stepped on. He was very relaxed, but alert. The thought of a lone wolf in or near the camp, let alone the territory was putting him on edge. But he remained calm so he wouldn't disturb the wounded wolves too much. |

River | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Sorrel, Killjoy, Aquila & Scouts(ind) River listened to Killjoy before chuckling, "My pack would be the same." She listened to the other part, tilting her head towards Sorrel before looking down at Aquila. The female looked to be asleep but River wasn't sure. She did know one thing, the female needed sleep. Although, so did she. "We will talk in the morning. Aquila needs sleep and to rest her wounds, as do I." River said before looking Killjoy up and down. "It looks like you need it too. I might not be your alpha, but I'll say this only once. You better not be up all night." River said, giving him a playful grin before shaking out her fur. She looked up at the sky, noticing the first spots of stars were showing themselves finally.
When she looked back down, Killjoy was moving out of the den. River called gently to him, "My alpha will most likely be here in the morning. I'll meet you at your den to talk." If I don't back out of it. She thought, letting out a sigh. She watched him head over to a group before her ears flattened slightly at his pose. Yes, yes, the alpha dominant pose. She could still remember him when he was first leading the pack back up here and she got in his way. Much had changed since then, he had earned a good bit of respect since.
River scanned the clearing again before meeting eyes with the scout that had come in. Whatever Killjoy was talking about did something because the female gave her a respectful nod. River flicked an ear surprised before the female turned back towards Killjoy. Interesting. To be thought more in depth another time. She was tired and she did need the rest. She looked out towards the forest, towards the river before giving an involuntary shudder. River looked back down at Aquila, her eyes closing. I could have lost you too. She thought, memories racing by before she opened her eyes. River laid down, pressing her fur to the female's before licking her ears. After a few licks, River laid her head down, falling asleep and hoping it wouldn't be filled with nightmares. |

Lily | f | loner | M: none Lily sneaked up behind a hot-dog stand. She hadnt eaten for a while and was really hungry. She krept closer as the man gave out his last hot-dog to his last customer for the night. When the hot-dog was getting transferred to the different hands Lily bolted toward the food. She jumped in the air but missed. The human who was buying the hot-dog kicked Lily in the side just as she was landing. She winced before tucking her tail and running. As she ran on the sidewalks people either jumped in fear, yelled at her or tried to kick her. Tried again Lily stopped at the sight of a fountain in a park. Water, she thought happily, slinking up to it. When she made sure no one was paying attention to her she quickly dipped her muzzle in the water, taking a big drink. After she had, had her fill she backed away and looked around. It was getting dark so barely anyone was out. Calling it good Lily trotted over to some planted flowers. She squeezed under them before falling alseep with an empty stomach, again. She hadnt eaten for almost a week and was starting to suffer the consequences. She was always tired now because she didn't have enough food energy to keep her going. Even that short run had her sides heaving. |

|Illusion|M|Lead Hunter|Eastern|M:Torrin, Killjoy, Justice| Illusion was in a nice, peaceful sleep when he heard Killjoy bark his name. He lifted his large head and blinked his two colored eyes. What now? "Does he ever sleep?" He grumbled as he began the walk down the steep pathway to the ground. "Do you know what time it is?" He growled, fighting to keep his eyes open. "Don't get snappy with me." Killjoy snarled. Illusion bowed his head at his Alpha. I wasn't snappy. Do you want to see snappy? He thought, bitterly. He stalked over to where he was. He saw Sorrel nearby. He sighed when he saw Justice. It wasn't like he didn't like her, but it was dark, and he should be asleep. How is it that she can't keep track of her own apprentice? It's her job. He thought, sourly. "I'm sorry, what can I do?" He asked, clearly pissed about being woken up from a nice dream. He couldn't even remember what it had been about now. Such a shame. "You can go and find Torrin." He looked at his Alpha in disbelief before nodding and heading out of camp. "It shouldn't be my job to go and find a loose apprentice all because her mentor can't keep a leash on her." He growled as he picked up Torrin's scent outside of camp. He let out a sigh. First, he had to go through all that mud to get home. Then he had to go and find Brecken and Marbled, now a stray apprentice? What was he, the packs errand boy? He picked up a lope, following the scent. "Torrin?" He called out, stopping in a clearing where her scent was fresh as day. |

Flame | F | Elder | Shadow Forest | M: Anya Flame listened to the female as she had difficulties before chuckling. It had been a while since she had an apprentice. "Close your eyes again. I would like you to listen and listen alone. Listen to the object before you tell me how big it was and where it went." Flame said, feeling around before finding an acorn. Acorns would work perfectly for this exercise. She tossed it up, counting the seconds hearing it brush gently against the branches and leaves once before brushing against them again on the way down. She counted the seconds before opening her jaws to catch the acorn as it came down.
Flame found a pebble around the same size before doing the same thing. She heard the slight whistle on the way down before catching it. Placing the pebble next to the acorn, she asked, "Now, what was each item and where did it go?" She knew this was a difficult question as acorns was as big as pebbles. However, due to her honed hearing, she could tell the difference between a pebble and an acorn. |

|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M: Sorrel| Killjoy's attention flicked having been zoned out watching River lick Aquilas ears, thinking about the morning Patrol back to Sorrel as she spoke. "That would be lovely. I do believe that River said that Night might be here in the morning, so we will give him until sun high tomorrow to reach come and get them, if not, we can walk them back, and make sure that they both make it back safely." He nodded at the thought of the plan. In his tired mind it sounded good. "How would you like to join morning patrol with us?" He asked, closing his eyes. He could feel himself starting to drift off, just from that so he shook his head slightly. That helped a bit. After her response he nodded. "Well, I will see you in the morning. I am going to my den to sleep." He said, trying hard to keep his soft blue eyes open. He got up from his sitting pose and walked over towards his den. He looked over his shoulder at the camp entrence. He was sure that Illusion had Justice and Torrin under control. He stepped into his den, and was hit by all of the wolves different scents that had been in there. It was almost overpowering. He walked over to his nest and circled twice before laying down. He watched the stars for a bit outside of his cave before, finally laying his head down on his outstreatched legs. He sighed happily at the relief of laying down before drifting off into a light sleep. |

Anya| f | SFP | M: Flame Anya did as she was told and closed her eyes again. She listened as Flame threw something in the air, that much she knew. As she listened to it come down Anya got the feeling it was more of a game than learning so she listened intently, wanting to win this game. As Flame threw the second item Anya pricked her ears forward and her face was laced with determination. When Flame put it down Anya could tell it was heavier than the first because it made a slight thud sound. Anya thought for a moment before answering Flame. "You threw the things in the air. I dont know what the first thing is but i think the second one is maybe a pebble or something?" If Flame could see her face she would see the most focused look. "Did i win?" Anya asked after she gave her answer. Her tail wagged slightly making the leaves move slightly. |

Alha | F | Alpha | Strays United | M: Harry, Lily Alha chuckled at his enthusiasm before turning towards the exit. She broke into a sprint after they cleared the alley before slowing down to a trot as they came out to the plaza. She weaved in between the humans before pausing at a corner. Alha looked over at Harry before saying playfully, "I didn't wake you up from a good dream, did I? You'll have plenty of time to sleep later." She let her tongue hang out before starting back up into a trot. Soon though, her smile faded. She stopped at the edge of the construction site, noting immediately that several humans had bandages on.
She also noted that they had expanded the lot but not as much as she thought. She flicked an ear at Harry to be quiet as she stalked forward towards a tree on the opposite side. Finding nothing of interest, she turned back towards the town when the stench of fox hit her nose. She growled before catching that known scent of Shadow. Alha put two and two together before her ears flattened. She was going to have a long talk with Shadow about attacking the humans. Again. Growling, she headed back into town before saying icily, "Let's head back. Dog catchers will be out soon."
Alha did spot a paper bag on her way out and waited a moment before snatching it. Yummy, it smelled like turkey. Must be a lunch. Oh well, it was her pack's now. She was going by the park when another scent hit her nose. Wolf yet not wolf. Alha flicked her tail at Harry, who she hoped was near her before stalking towards some flowers before pausing as she saw the female inside the ring. She waited a moment before dropping the bag in front of the female and sat down. "You look a bit lost and hungry. Welcome to my territory, my name is Alha. Who might you be?" Alha said gently, not wanting to scare the female. |

Others(Ind) >< Sorrel watched him struggle to keep his eyes off River, slightly amused, but sshe wouldn't let it show, he'd had a long enough day. "Sounds good, I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled for then." Her tone gentle, but serious. She gazed off to the den, the she-wolves seemed close. River? Which one is that? She thought to herself, quickly correcting herself, it was most definently the one her Aplha had spoken to. She tilted her head at the suggestion of morning patrol, her tail waggled slightly. "I'd like that very much!" She paused, noticing him waver a little on the spot. "You should get some rest sir." She suggested, gladdened by his answer. She Stood up and bowed her head. "Rest well, Alpha." She spoke softly and turned away, sttanding and trotting off toward her den. She glanced around the camp, sweet sweet silence. She yawned and dove into the den. Circling a few times before she plopped down on the hard, cool floor. She narrowed her eyes, struggling to sleep and feeling a bit embarassed by how she'd treated River. Or even thought of River. If Night didn't show up she would personally see to it that these she-wolves made it safely. She tucked her feet, loafing on the spot. She would possibly even escort then toward the river, and if needed, help them swim. Considering both- she thought- had some kind of injury. She shut her eyes and rolled over onto her back, her legs twitching and her head stretched out flat. She huffed and rolled over her side, looking quite dead in the position she'd chosen. Finally, peace! She sighed, comfortable. She knew the nest wouldn't help as she preferred to sleep upon the floor. It wasn't like it would make a difference. That wasn't entirely true. She just would like to think that. She drifted off to sleep peacefully after her tossing and turning for too long. Her chest waxed and waned as she slept, her floppy, bent ear straight for once. She had a conspirecy about herself that she was only comfortable when she slept with her ear straight. True or not, she was glad she could have some rest finally and put that day out of her mind. She found herself in a dream sleep, sound. |

|Harry|M|Guard|Strays United|M: Alha, Lily| Harry picked up a lope behind Alha. It was one like he'd watched the horses nextdoor do. He slowed to a stop at the sight, and took in a breath of the humans scent. He didn't really like the smell of humans anymore. It suprised him since he'd been raised by them. He watched Alha's ears flatten, and thought bitterly to himself. The wolf with the foxes have been around again. What was his name? Shadow or somethin'? He could hear the faint sound of the dog catcher and quickly turned to start their normal patrol route. He found it strange to find a new stray in their terriory. He was skeptical that this new dog would be a threat. While Alha spoke to her, he stood on watch duty. He looked around, looking for any signs of ambush. Why would there be a single dog alone? He questioned, feeling over protective of his territory. He growled when he realized that she had almost the scent of wolf on her. He flattened his standing ear back, and his floppy ear went back as well. He was now more alert then before. He took a step forwards, and gently spoke to his Alpha. "I'm not sure if we should trust this... mutt." He said, eyeing the dog, well aware that he was also a mutt, but a well-bred mutt that had been born with a purpose. He wanted to sit, but refused to. He wasn't to sit, it would put him in a bad place if the stray did decide to attack. |
