Aderyn Devane Griffin Female | 17 | Gr. 12 | Mentions: Rhea (Ind.), Humans (Ind.) . A large shadowy figure flew down from the roof, shifting into a much smaller shadow before it climbed through one of the many windows on the 5th floor. Rin's bare feet touched the bedroom's floor, the girl returning from spending most of the night stargazing and reading up on the roof. She had barely managed to slip through the window before the sun could rise. She just couldn't sleep, too excited about the arrival of the human students. . She placed her book amongst the many books scattered on her desk. Her room was a somewhat organized mess, piles of books were located all around her room. It was her hoard of sorts. Her Hoard of Knowledge. The griffin took a moment to admire the room filled with her books before getting ready for the day. She didn't have to worry about waking her roommate or neighbors, grateful that she didn't have any. The girl often stayed awake, reading and/ or stargazing and this could keep her neighbors awake. . She opted for her favorite tie-dye hoody paired with light blue jeans and sneakers. She added her usual shinies- a few rings, a necklace, or 3. She may or may not have the greatest fashion sense, but as long as she has her shinies, she's happy. And she needed them to keep her grounded. The griffin was easily distracted. . By the time she was done, the clock read 9 AM. If it had been a normal day of class, Rin would've been late. Very late. But not today. Today, the humans arrive. And today she was meeting up with Rhea, her Kelpie bestie. She grabbed a book and her phone, texting said girl before heading down the flights of stairs. The text read: 'Hey girl^^ Meet up in the Cafeteria @10?' She headed for the cafeteria, grabbed a late breakfast, and sat down to read and eat. Soon the was transported to the world of her book, shutting out any and all noise from her surroundings.

Vikar Warg | Grade 10 | 16 | Mentions: Open The Sun rises over the horizon, forcing its way into the dorm room. However, one of them is already awake. A young teen was on his phone-playing an FPS game. Headphones in his ears to not disturb his roommate, Bernard. He sits up in bed, his eyes still set on the phone. Guess he has to get ready for school. Great. Vikar sighs to himself, and his eyes turn to the window where the Sun is stalking him. The Sun was waiting for him to step outside, eager to give Vikar bad sunburns. Begrudgingly, Vikar makes his way to his closet. He opens it up to reveal his beautiful collection of red sweaters, hoodies, and jackets. He only has four shirts, all of them white. Vikar doesn't know if they're clean, dirty, or what. His eyes turn to the clothing he's currently wearing: sweatpants and a t-shirt. Throw a hoodie over that, and it'll be perfect. For once, Vikar sets his phone down on his bed. Slipping on his hoodie and made sure his headphones were still in his ears. Luckily, a Fashion Club hasn't gotten established. If one of their members insults his clothing choice, he'll happily knock their teeth out. He gives a glance to Bernard, a slight growl in his throat. Humans. Why did they put him with a human? He's starting to hate this school more and more. Vikar grabs his phone, slipping on his socks and sneakers before leaving the room. He didn't care how loud he closed the door. His main priority is beating this level without trying to beat someone up. Vikar sticks to the side of the halls, his head down as he's focused on his phone. The students around him stayed clear from him-he prefers it that way. That was until someone bumped into him, and a loud growl rumbles deep in his throat. He was close to dropping his phone due to some person's carelessness. "Watch yourself, bird brain!" He hissed, glaring at the person that bumped into him. "S-sorry." The other replied meekly, but Vikar's anger never subsided. "Whatever, but if I see your face again, you'll be sorry." He spat before storming off to head outside. His words were both a threat and a promise. He will beat that kid up if he spots him again, and no, he won't feel bad afterward. He was aggressive towards everyone, even towards his fellow canine supernatural. It's something that cannot be helped-Wargs are naturally unsociable creatures and highly aggressive towards everyone unless they're related. The rest of the already terrible morning was uneventful, just his average day of enjoying isolation. His mind is busy with his game and if he should attend First Period. Would he go to class? It depends if he's motivated enough to attend. The answer is: He's skipping it. The only time he'll ever attend a class is for sleep or to grab the homework for the day. Hey, the classroom desks are better than a cave. Vikar looks up, closing out of his game to listen to music. He shoves his phone into the pocket of his hoodie, then his hands. He'll be damned if he accidentally touches someone, let alone someone grabbing his hands. Not just the disgust of physical touch but also holding back the urge to strangle someone. His hands are rated E for everyone. If someone looks at him wrong, he'll happily respond to a kick in the gut. Not to mention, he has to retrieve his bag that he stashed away somewhere in the woods. He needs to do something with his fingers that itch for violence-something that puts his hands to use and not bring chaos. Although, chaos is a tad bit fun to cause. Leaving the school grounds, Vikar heads deep into the woods. If someone snitches on him for doing it, they'll need to say a quick goodbye for their tongue before it's gone. Too many good-two-shoes showed up here, and now his fun is dwindling. He has to put some of them in line so they can quit ratting out the others. They're lucky they met him first and not someone else. Despite his temperament, Vikar would only throw hands if they're too cocky and stuck-up, touchy with him, or hates them in general. Scare the snitches first before putting them in ditches. He doesn't want that much blood on his hands at the moment. He'll wait until he either drops out of school or magically graduates. He kept on walking until he found his marker. It was a tree stump with a hole under it-the hole made by him. Vikar kneels in front of it and reaches his hand inside. Grabbing onto his bag by the arm straps and pulls it out. He plops down on the tree stump to check his bag for his knitting materials. Pulling them out and instantly starts working. His hands moved quick-forming a small cat plushie to add to his mass collection of stuffed animals. Edited at August 11, 2022 01:34 PM by Cereal

Lilith Dark Witch | Grade 9 | 15 | M: Vikar The blood curdling scream ad woken the essence of Lilith slumber. Though the screams were coming from her mouth. She darted awake with the blankets in smoking around her. Her pillow turned into ashes. She let out loud groan despise of the fire. Luckily the fire slowly dimmed to now smoke which she opened the window and poured cold water on her bed. She grumbled,"Looks as I need a new sheets, comforter, and pillow. Just what I need." Lilith looked at empty bed next to her. She could just swap beds and have maybe the new roommate get this now charred bed. She shook her head despite of the rudeness. Tye assembly and human students shall arriving today. Oh so lucky for this new tough crowd of humans. She grumbles,"An assembly. Yea definitely going. Seems fun my ass." Briar can give her lecture about her attendance later. She pulled some cool ranch domino's and starting two family size bags for her own enjoyment and well her energy levels were quite decreasing. She slowly got ready with her hair straightened. Her necklaces and rings. A black yin and yang crop top and white sweat pants. Then she pulls over her cloak to hide away. Lilith... The witch that will destroy all covers. Show us your real true self. Open the gates of the demons. She plugged her ears groaning at the shrill voices repeating the words of her doomed future. A muffle cry sounded from her,"Just leave me alone. I may use dark magic, but I will not kill my own kind.. Please Go away..." The words were pleading with desperation and fear. The voices did eventually calm to small whispers that she tuned out, but she knew they will be back for her. The escape to the woods away from everyone and scent of nature. Maybe escaping assembly was more than being a trouble juvenile. More as of to make an embarrassment of her acting out Maybe or uncontrollable powers. She closed her to picture the woods. The scenes of towering trees colored with dying leaves that were falling. The birds of flying in the sky for migration to the south. The soft hum of silence. Then a black portal on her right appeared with Vikar on the side. She shrugged with not even care of the world. She pulled her hood over head and she walked through Portal into the calling woods. Then it disappears behind her. She looks at Vikar and she says,"Skipping? Don't worry me too. Assemblies and humans not my thing. And no fun."

Avalynn Lycan | Female | Grade 10 | 15 | M: Humans(ind.) Small steps, whispers, and talking filled Ava's ears, waking her from her sleep. Her clock read 8:17, around the time she'd wake by herself, clock free. The sun barely peaked through her window, shining off of her phone and the mini fridge handle. The wind whistles through the window that Ava had left open. Sounds from outside rang in the lycan's ear. Birds chirping, leaves blowing, whispers from someone. The sounds were calming but perfect to wake to in the morning as Ava says. . The lycan rose out of bed, stumbling toward her dresser. She pulled a pair of black shorts and a blue shirt out of the top drawer, contemplating wether or not to where a hoodie today. Ah whatever. Just grab it. She thought to herself. She took her clothes to the bathroom, taking a quick shower before thinking about breakfast. As she shook her head, water flew from her hair. She didn't really care to dry it with a hair dryer because it seemed unnatural to her. She threw on her hoodie and headed toward the mini fridge. She'd stocked it with some freeze dried fruit and some lunch meat. She looked at everything and chose a bag of freeze dried strawberries and opened the bag. Walking back to her bed, she grabbed her phone and started checking her notifications. . A thought pops into the lycan's mind too many times. Humans. Ava wonders if she'll get a roommate that is a human. It is quite possible since she has not had a roommate yet this year. She curiously looks out the window from her bed, wondering how they act. Her hands then start twitching. "Dammit." She mumbled. She set her phone down on the bedside table and got up towards her desk. Papers littered the sides and drawings of animals, plants, highways, you name it gathered around the walls. She grabbed a pencil with her twitching hands and sat down. She had two dice and a piece of paper with numbers from 1-12. This decided what she would draw when she'd been uncertain. 7, a fox. Ava took a breath and started drawing, becoming deeply focused in her drawing. . At the end, a pencil fox face looked straight toward the proud lycan. Ava smiled, proud of her creation. It was only two hours from the assembly. Humans filled her thoughts once more. She looked at the papers, "I have time for one more drawing." She smiled, picking up her pencil once more.

Thaddeus Kircen Falker// Male//Lich Supernatural//G10//Sixteen//Mentions:open Thaddeus shuffled around amidst his comforter, groaning at the tenderness of his back. At the night-riding hours of yesterday, when the entities of people were calmed amongst their quarters, Kir, bright-eyed and persistent, had fallen, no, was slammed on his back. And it protruded such an earth quaking tremble in the floorboards, one would be surprised how he was able to stand without splitting from everything above his torso. The perpetrator? A back flip. Or what was supposed to be one. . .now Kir certainly has an admirable type of pain tolerance but that? Well it felt like the despicable, most thorniest spawns of satan were repeatedly tearing at his wake like they were searching for gold. His chambers were pitch-black. Whether you opened or closed your eyes would make no difference. And should a person receive a glimpse of light upon entering his domain, something is terribly, terribly wrong. For a moment, Kircen stilled in his bed, blankly dispatching his two-toned gaze from the dwells of sleep until it landed on the other mattress. Of course, it was uninhabited, preferably so- but as the wake of morn approached, it would later be claimed. Pessimistically, he doubted it’d be anyone of his kind. Toiling amid his sheets and radiating a presence so dark and vile that one would think he was woken by night-terrors every day,- was Thaddeus as soon as he found out that a pack of humans would be encroaching. .ahem, enrolling in Dunhurst Prep He clenched his jaw, turning himself towards the wall where he proceeded to stifle his urges of rage. Trembling atop his mattress and thrusting his limbs on and off of the bed, Kir couldn’t obtain a wink of sleep thus far. Nonetheless whenever the gentle raps at his door crooned in his ear, a string of drowsy incoherencies would mumble from his lips, following the tightening of his many, many blankets around his body. Thaddeus certainly wasn’t exhausted. . .lazy? Yes. Well, when it came to leaving his sanctuary anyway. He moaned, slapping his forearm over his eyes and allowing the comforter to sheath his bare back, albeit listlessly. In a second, Kir shot up from his bed, gritting his teeth as an intake more or less the hiss of a snake jolted from between his fangs. With his face contracting a most terribly painful wince, he leapt hesitantly from his bed sheets with a mildly arched back. “Shit, shit, shit, screw this.” He ripped his tank top off from around his shoulders, hopping up and down like the floor was soaked in fire. Making his way quickly towards the bathroom, Thaddeus thrusted himself towards the mirror, hoisting his bottom atop the counter and analyzing his flesh meticulously. It looked. . .inflamed. .not too bad he supposed? Kir groaned and thoughtlessly shrugged his shorts to the floor. Then came his boxers and then. .well, he was naked. But not naked where he was supposed to be. “Oh shit.” Jerking his gaze towards the other door, the door that belonged to the other dormies, the door that made this shared bathroom shared, Thaddeus, frustrated, urgent, and faintly amused, yanked his garments up off the floor and swiftly jogged towards the bathing stall with nervous laughter spilling from his lips. Once the showerhead began to spew ice cold liquid, Kir stood almost vacantly beneath the cooling water, doubling his arms behind his head with a loud ass sigh of relief. It was quick but all the more refreshing shower. Habitually, Kir wrapped a milky white towel around his waist, watching as the wetness pasted to his skin slipped down his legs and biceps and thus shattered messily towards the floor. His discarded clothing was hooked onto his fingers, sagging weightlessly at his side. Sliding his damp, scarlet tresses away from his eyes, Kir sauntered from his stall, patting and ruffling his doused head aimlessly, gaze drifting. It wasn’t until he locked eyes with another being that Thaddeus’s gaze hardened, lips curling in a half-hearted snarl. “Is there a problem, short stack?” Passively, the other dormie shook his head, sharply averting his gaze whilst milking the creamy substance of blue paste onto his toothbrush. Thaddeus huffed, eyes trailing further along the elfen man’s body. “Nice tat.” <|||||> Garbed in a black graphic tee, like, a truly graphic tee printed as a corpse gleefully ripping a man's heart from his chest, but comically blurred and pixelated as if its too inappropriate for the innocence of a person's gaze, it is, and a pair of slightly baggy, buckle-belt trousers pelted in a dark tan, Kircen was more or less ready. Ready for what exactly? To sit his ass down and consume, no, inhale all of the breakfast in the cafeteria. Semi-grouchily, Thaddeus strolled from his chambers and dispersed into the labyrinth of halls, his hands husked inside his pockets. . .and then later clasped tightly around the outer edges of a tray of, well, food. Food that went together, and food that just. . .didn’t. Nonetheless, he seated himself in the far, far corner of the cafeteria, close beside a window should the sun decide to bake his locs dry.

Tsuki Azeria || Grade 11 || 16 || Kitsune || M: Open Dim morning light filters through a window, faintly illuminating Tsuki’s bed. She recklessly tosses and turns under the thick white covers, her black hair sprawled out over her pillow. Finally, she stops, laying on her back as her eyes open to reveal a dark sea of blue. The girl’s vision is groggy, but she can see what time it is as she turns on her phone, the small device’s screen glowing white. 7:01am. Tsuki sits up, opening her jaws wide in a yawn before dragging herself out of bed. She stares out the window for a brief moment before her mind starts to drift off, thinking of what she was going to do today. Since she was supernatural, she could do what she wanted until 12pm, when everybody was scheduled to meet in the Main Gym. Maybe she’d pull a prank on an unsuspecting victim. Yeah, that sounded fun. She just had to do it without getting caught. Otherwise she’d get in trouble. Walking over to her dresser, Tsuki looks through her clothes, trying to decide what she wants to wear. She picks up a red, long sleeved shirt, tossing it onto the ground. No, she didn’t want to wear that. The girl noisily searched for something to wear, but, by the time she was done, there were clothes scattered all across the floor. Oops. She hoped that her roommate wouldn’t mind. Well, at least she’d decided what she’d wear today. A faded black sweatshirt with a red fox on it and long, black leggings. Perfect. Walking over to the shared bathroom— loudly, Tsuki twists open the door and slams it shut behind her. She pulls on her sweatshirt and leggings, all the while her thoughts linger on what kind of trouble she wanted to stir up. A prank, obviously. But, what kind? Maybe she’d fill the corridors with confetti. That was kind of boring, though. And somebody might catch her doing it. Or, she could set traps above people’s doors, watching as they fell victim to her prank. That’d be entertaining. She could randomly unscrew things around the school, too. But who’d notice that? Should she put more thought into this? Tsuki decides to think about pulling pranks later. For now, she had to get ready, and she'd probably come up with more ideas later, anyway. After putting her clothes on, she steps out of the bathroom and throws her pajamas onto her bed before making her way over to the sink. She picks up her toothbrush, which is dark blue in color, and quickly brushes her sharp, fox-like teeth. But, Tsuki’s hair was still a mess. It must’ve gotten that way from her tossing in her sleep. She grabs her brush, struggling to untangle her long black hair. But, when she was finally done, she thought that she looked rather nice. Setting her stuff down, Tsuki slips her phone into her pocket before exiting her room. She can feel her appetite start to arouse— and decides to head in the direction of the cafeteria for breakfast, her fox ears perked as she strolls down the hall with a smile on her face. Constance Wolfe Human Female | Grade 11 | Sixteen | Mentions: Open
Nervous fingers sank into the fuzzy fur of her steering wheel cover as she directed her car into the Western Parkinglot of Dunhurst Prepatory. She was early, of course. Refusing to show up to her new, albeit temporary, school as a straggler. She would make a good impression, on the students and the falculty. She had to. But she also wanted to get all settled in and get an understanding fo the layout before she was supposed to attend the pep rally today. So here she was: early.
Pulling her Hyundai Kona into an space, Cosntance let out a soft sigh before putting the car in park and drumming her fingers along the steering wheel as she took in the school. It looked like any other school, except bigger. There were more buildings perhaps, with many of them seeming larger than any of hers had been. It was more intimidating, but perhaps thats because it's occupants weren't human.
The supernaturals had never bothered her, and they still didn't now. However, she had no experience with what they were like at school, how they acted. And, judging by her own human peers, she didn't exactly have a lot of hope. Now putting the two together? That and the unknown intimidated her, as she didn't anticipate that everyone would get along.
Shaking her hair so that mocha waves fell down her shoulders, Cosntance grabbed her bag and pushed her way out of her car. She had bags that she brought with her, but didn't want to lug them around while she went to the Main office since it was just her who came. Her parents hadn't elected to come, both apparently to busy at work, but that didn't surprise her. Madeline and Arthur Wolfe rarely ever chose anything else over their worl. She didn't really mind it though, but the idea of carrying all her bags by herself wasn't exactly thrilling either.
She tugged at the pleated skirt that reached to her mid thighs, defusing any wrinkles or rumples within from the car ride. She hadn't dressed much different from her normal outfits for school, despite the fact that there weren't any classes today. Constance, though, wanted to keep up a good image, and since she was going to be on campus and in view of others, she would wear her normal school attire. Today that included a white button down with an argyle pattern, crop sweater vest, which was one of her favorites with how it fit and the deep green color incorporated into the pattern of the design. This was combined with the black pleated skirt that she picked out, along with the black thigh highs [to keep her warm of course] and the chunky, lace-up oxford platforms that were also black. It was a pretty standard outfit for her, having a more "preppy vibe" as her friends had once called it. She had never minded though, and it helped make her feel confident even on her worst of days. Which is probably why after only a moment's of hesitation she walked straight for the main office with her head held high.
____________________________
The introduction with the main office and it's staff had gone pretty well, albeit it a bit rushed and uncoordinated due to her early arrival. Still, it had gone well, and that's all that really mattered to her. Now she had her schedule, the school map and her dorm assignment, so she had grabbed one of her larger bags and a smaller duggle, and headed into the campus.
Her heels clicked along the pavement as she went, her eyes glancing up and around before darting to the map and her dorm assignment to make sure she was going the right way. Once she found the dorm room she headed for the stairs, glaring at them as she glanced at her suitcase. Right. Stairs. Wonderful.
She supposed for supernaturals who likely had super strength or could fly or jump, the stairs weren't a feat. They probably never imagined that anyone attending the school would struggle with the stairs, so things like elevators hadn't been needed. It made sense, but still, Constance found herself wishing they had just so she wasn't struggling to lug her suticase up them to get to the third floor [or the fourth, however you look at it]. The worst part was, Constance knew she likely had to make at least one more trip, but probably two. Curse her for not making her younger sister come to help her.
Constance shook her head and focused more at the slow task at hand. It wasn't necessarily that she was going step by step, but trying to go up stairs in pumps carrying a backpack, duffle bag, and a suitcase wasn't necessarily fast or easy. She could only hope that anyone who saw her chose to ignore her and would take mercy enough on her not to make her the topic of the conversation for the day.

Kyros Eros || Grade 12 || 18 || Male || Werewolf || M: Briar, Humans (ind) Kyros woke with a start, drenched in sweat. He'd had another nightmare, though he didn't remember what about no matter how much he racked his brain. He never remembered the dream, just the feeling. He shook his head, get over it. Sitting up, he felt his skin sticking to itself in the familiar clammy way it did most mornings. For the reason of his nightmare condition, he never slept with a shirt in order to preserve the laundry. "Yuck," he said in disgust, feeling the sheets beneath him were as soaked as if he'd sprayed them all down. He quickly stood up and got out of bed, waving his hand towards the sheets to rid them of smell with a simple spell. It didn't clean them, but he was only willing to do that every month. Looking around, he pulled a pair of grey pants off his dresser and pulled them up, then scoured his drawers for a dark blue fitted button up. He promptly rolled the sleeves up to right below his elbow before walking over to his bed to make a feeble attempt at pulling the covers up neatly before pulling on a pair of white sneakers. He took a glance at his clock, wondering how late he'd slept in since he hadn't set an alarm due to the occasion. Fortunately, his body had allowed him until 7:45. "Where is my..." he murmured to himself, patting his pockets for his phone. Discovering it on the foot of the spare bed. Kyros felt a wave of dread come over him as he wondered whether he would be getting a roommate today. Upon second thought, however, he realized this was an entirely good thing. He would have access to somebody even during off hours, and he'd always be entertained. A smirk broke out on his face as he thought about it. He wasn't very curious about humans, they were rather boring for the most part, but he couldn't help but wonder. Dragging himself out of his thoughts, he got up and made himself a cup of coffee. While the water dribbled through the filter, he went to his dresser and scooped up his usual ear piece and put it in place. Sauntering back over to the coffee pot, he poured it into his "I don't have a dirty mind, I have a sexy imagination" mug and began to slurp heartily. He plopped down onto the edge of the spare bed and pulled up his messages, deciding Briar would be giving him attention. Clicking on the contact labeled "Sweet Cheeks" and texted with one hand - as he was balancing his coffee carefully in the other - 'You up, sweets? I'm feeling hungry and you can help me with that ;) Meaning we can go to breakfast together. I'll be at your door in a minute.' He chuckled at his message as he hit "send," picturing the item of his affection sprouting a beautiful bouquet and turning a lovely shade of red. He swung his feet up and stood, walking out his door, mug in hand, and stood waiting for Briar to come out and see him. Edited at August 12, 2022 11:51 PM by Meian

And well the other specimen that he loathes that he can not joy to be around. Not since his father caught him with his best friend Rizzo. His hand tightened the wheel pressing the gas. The speed reaching 110 on the country road, but climbing. Cassie growled, " Jax! Slow the hell down.. Please. I can't read without feeling I want to die." Jax rolled his eyes at his young sister and slow a bit enough for her comfort. Jax spoke up,"Alright Cass. I'm going to tell you this now and only one time. So get it in that little brain of yours. You are not my sister when I get there. I'm not protecting you this time, not in this school. You are nothing to me anyway. I only promised to take care of you for your freshmen year, since Dad promised me too. So make friends or just be the same. Be a little low life like your mother and stick to yourself. Our secret little life we had was perfect until you ruined it. I can not just be open about everything. Now if you speak about him again. I will actually kill you Cassiopia!" The siblings came to screeching halt at a stop sign and Jax narrowed his eyes. He blasted the song, 5% Tint by Travis Scott. As they continued their way to the school into a parking lot. Cassie hid her face turning down the awful song quickly and getting out of the car before Jax could say another word. Cass looked around at the beautiful environment around her. As she grabbed her suitcase and backpack. And her brother taking a duffel bag and backpack as well running his hand through his hair. He sharply whispers," Remember what I said! You don't know me." Ryan Human | Male | Grade 10 | 15 | M: Supernatural(ind.) An alarm blares, seeming to be the sound of an approaching ambulance. It comes and goes, awaking Ryan along the way. His clock, which wasn't supposed to ring for another hour, now says 5:39. The birds chirp right outside and he can hear the sounds of his mother in the kitchen. Ryan's vision is blurry and dark. He sits up, mumbling about woken up so early. He turns over to his side and flicks on his lamp. "Mornin' Liz." He tells his lizard in a large cage on a desk to his right. Ryan sits up and sighs, "School," he chuckles slightly. "Great." . Standing up, he walks toward his dresser, blinking his tired eyes. E scarmbled through his drawers finding a pair of blue and black stripped shorts, a gray shirt and his favorite hoodie with his country's flag on the back. Then, he picked up a small bow tie. "Maybe?" He said. He walked towards the bathroom, turning on the shower to a neutral temp. . After coming out of the shower after 30 minutes, he put on his clothes and walked back towards his room and picked up the tie once more. Walking towards his lizard he held it up. "Tie...or not." He waited a moment before he nodded his head, tossing the tie aside. He had always felt a deep connection to his pet and believed he could understand her. Picking up his clothes for the dorm rooms, he walked toward the kitchen. "Why you're up early!" His mother exclaimed. "Mhm" Ryan replied. No thanks to that ambulance. He thought. Ryan walked towards the cabinet and poured a bowl of cereal for himself. He thought about the school while eating and wondered how it would be. He didn't think it would be much different from his previous school. Then, his thoughts were interrupted by a voice. "You need me to take you to your new school?" His mother asked. Before he could answer, his brother replied, "I'll be takin' him Ma." Ryan looked at his brother. "Ten." He said. He was telling his brother that he wanted to be there by ten-o-clock without saying it. It was there brotherly bond he liked to say. "Alright. Just remember to collect eggs before you go and feed the hogs." His mother reminded, casually cleaning a pot for later. Ryan nodded. "Load your things in the car. We best be going soon." Ryan's brother said. Ryan again nodded, heading out to the hen house. . Chores were quite easy in Ryan's opinion. Collect eggs and feed the hogs. Today, 7 eggs appeared in the coop and the hogs gladly ate their food. Living on a farm gave a bit of confidence to Ryan but he still stayed out of the way of being social. Then, a moo sounded from the barn. The family cow, Bess, seemed to be giving Ryan a farewell. Ryan smiled and patted the cow's head. "I'll miss you ol' girl." Ryan said kindly. He raced back to the house, careful with the eggs and set them on the table, grabbing his things and headed to the car to load them up. "Have fun and try to make some friends." His mother yelled before they left. Ryan nodded although this was probably not going to happen. . As Ryan watched the farmhouses go by, he started to wonder if the house would be fine without him and if his family would be good. He was so focused in his thoughts that they arrived at the school in what felt like five minutes. "I'll do you're chores while your gone and I'll watch Liz." Ryan turned to his brother and looked him dead in the eyes. "Promise?" He asked sternly. If anything happened to Liz while he was gone, somebody would be hurt. "Promise." His brother replied. . Ryan dragged his things toward the main office, watching the car leave. He took a shaky breath and managed to get through things smoothly and got his full schedule.
