Shadow | M | Alpha | SFP | M: Quilo, Bardou, Harry(ind)
Shalah | F | Medic | SUP | M: Bardou, Quilo
Icicle blinked slowly as the male gave a hesitant thank you to her. "Not a compliment sweetheart," she said, her tone a little snarky at the male. How he could be so carefree right now was beyond her. Granted. . .that was all the dogs. At his statement, Shadow frowned deeper. "A guard would do their job. Your not doing yours. Present yourself as friendly to a cougar and you'll be a dead dog in two seconds. It's your disadvantage, not theirs." Shadow said, his tone almost stating that this was not the first time he had done this.

Oh dear, he sounded like he did a few years ago when he was teaching Alha the ways. It took her a few months to finally understand. This mutt didn't have months to figure it out. "I suggest you go to your fellow guard and learn." He growled before huffing at the excitement that was coursing through the male. It was like talking to a puppy. At least the male was observant though and actually tried.

As the male grabbed his moss and took a position in the front of the two of them, Shadow waited a few paces before following. The dog might be big, but that didn't mean he was fast. Shadow resumed his pace before Icicle stiffened with a hiss on his back as a figure came into view. Shadow came to a halt and waited in the trees while Quilo went out of his way to be friendly. When Quilo moved past her, Shadow moved forward before stopping again, the female in plain sight. Bardou.

Bardou. Here. Bardou here. Shadow blinked, remembering Night had said something about her disappearing. She seemed to have a good reason why though. She looked like she had come back from the dead. Half of her face, including an eye, was gone and her normally white pelt was stained with blood. Shadow turned his head to peek behind her and found an annoyed Shalah watching the beta female. Turning back to Bardou, he said gently as he was only a few feet away now, "Bardou, it's me Alpha Shadow. Alpha Night has been worried. I will take the news to him that you are alive as soon as I check with the pack. As for now, your making Shalah very itchy over there and need medical attention."

Shadow waited for a response but Shalah was not waiting any longer. She had been annoyed when Bardou left her den, but that seemed to be the normal with the dogs. Never staying put. Alha stayed in sight, keeping her eyes on the female but they softened as Quilo came back. "Thank you Quilo, and visitors?" Alha said, her ears flicking back. They weren't due to have visitors were they? Realization flooded in as a familiar voice was carried to her ears. That's right, the newest addition to the pack had not met Shadow.

Shalah pushed forward, walking in front of Bardou and not caring about her personal space anymore. "Back to the den. You should not be walking period. You can fill Alpha Shadow in about your experience while I'm tending to your wounds." Shalah said in a stern voice, not moving or allowing her to get a word in edgewise until Bardou went back to the den. If needed, she would be there for support but the female had denied it last time.

Once back at the den, she muttered a quick 'thank you' to Quilo before shooing him out of the den. Too many wolves in the den at once. Alha met with Shadow outside and filled him in quickly, "Shalah found her by the river nearby. It looks like a big cat got to her before we found her." Shadow frowned slightly at the mention of a big cat before slipping into the den. Alha stayed outside so it wouldn't be crowded but also in hearing range so she could hear the news too.

Shalah quickly cleaned the rest of Bardou's wounds before starting to apply the herbs. Shadow waited until the wounds were cleaned before asking Bardou, "I would like you to tell me what you remember. Whether from where you went to begin with or what the cat looked like." His expression stayed the same but there was a note of concern within his voice, especially when the word 'cat' came out of his mouth.

Bardou // Beta // Raven // Mentions: Shadow // Shalah // Quilo

Bardous banner swayed behind her as her heart thrummed steadily within her chest. Her audits hummed with a steady murmur making hearing tedious as she stood her hackles fully risen at the begining of the camp. Paw steps could be heard as another approached, she noted it to be one of the dogs from earlier who mentioned.. being friends yes hmm... maybe more like mentor vs student at this rate.

Bardous lips lowered as she stepped aside to allow quilo passage to the alpha. His words about being alone making her audit twitch... she was used to that. Though as Shadow stepped up her vision turned foggy causing him to appear distorted. His words seemed to rest upon deaf audits as she lunged swiftly.. far swifter then she should have been able to accomplish as she pushed past the pain. But, upon landing dangerously close to his front her canines barely grazing his throat she froze. Her pupil dilating as her mind seemed to rework the words he had spoken before like a clock running backwards. With a shocked whine she reeled back as if she had stepped upon a sharp object.

"S-shadow...."

As she rotated backwards Shalah managed between the two, Bardou had thankfully breifly returned to focus. Huffing sharply she nodded to the medics words, after her moment of insanity she didnt have the energy to talk back and turned back to the den where shalah had basically herded her to. Once inside her body collapsed with a series of harsh spasms, growling sharply she forced her limbs to still.

Once her body was calm Bardou rested her cranium upon her paws allowing Shalah to treat the deep gashes along her body. Her banner swayed seemingly calmly but, she was anything but.. calm. The pack was in danger, the human traps where probably already discovered... so much needed to be taken care of it made her whole body tense with nerves. She knew how to set the traps off and reopen them..

Though when shadow stepped inside and spoke her hellfire optic blinked twice before focusing upon him. His question causing the singular optic to narrow with a knowing look.

"You will not be going after it shadow, unless you bring back up. Tis not like our normal cougars."

Bardou growled out sternly, it had almost killed her which was saying something. She was not a weak nor small wolf.

"The cat attacked from the bushes though im sure came from the trees, its scent like the forest.. unlike anything ive ever smelled. It didnt carry the same stench. It attacked and then dragged me away only to leave me in a rather thick oak neighboring a rock face."

Bardou growled something about how wolves arent meant to climb trees before continueing.

"The cat was spotted in pelt pattern. Course I only found that out when it returned in day light for its not so dead meal."

Bardou flicked her tongue out before continueing.

"The pack... is not safe yet....."

Bardous voice died out with a hoarse weeze from her lungs before her crainium lolled limply off of her paws. Her frame shivering as if cold, her body finally succombing to the shock of her injurys. Her mind however was a whirl wind of panic she needed to wake up to warn the pack of all she had seen... but alas her vessel begged for rest and now demanded it from her. Shadow said he would report back to Night, but... really she would need someone she knew to be there when she awoke.

Xola || 6 || Female || Wolf || Eastern Medic || M: River, Astronomy, Killjoy, Aoife, Hondo (Ind)

Xola watches with careful eyes as the two other-pack wolves make their way into her den and to their respective areas – looking for any more telltale signs of possible injuries or ailments. Spotting none, she releases a sigh and angles her head towards the ground. This is going to be quite the paw full.

A quiet ‘thank you’ catches her ears, causing her to look up and towards the speaker. It was one of the newcomers. The white and silver female to be precise. This simple gesture was enough to catch a smile from the old medic. A gentle and motherly one at that.

“There is no need to thank me, my dear. I am simply doing my job.”

The night-pelted female observes as she turns to lay on her side, leaving her shoulder exposed and ready for treatment. Honestly, she could help but feel rather appreciative of the gesture – casting yet another smile on her maw. But she does not remain in this position for long. Dropping the smile temporarily, she moves towards her stash of herbs… Only to be called by a new yet familiar, questioning voice.

Repressing a small growl and grimace (not at being addressed, but having yet another unnamed wolf at her doorstep), she turns to glance at the newcomer. It was the scout from before. The one that had announced the presence of a cougar as well as the deaths of those wolves. Her head was dipped in a respectful manner, likely due to her position within the pack. Oh, how she hated that scout’s “respectful” action. Sure, the charcoal female wished to be respected, but not in this manner.

“Yes, dear, that would be me. And please, do not bow your head to me. There is no need for that here. We are peers, after all,” the gentle grin reforms on her face. Listening to the female’s statement, she couldn’t help but chuckle. “I’ll let you know if I need anything, dear. You have my word.”

The aging medic watches as the kind scout leaves, and for that childish alpha to enter. His head was bowed, much like the one before him. Though, she suspected that it was for quite a differing reason. Her ears pin back at his presence, ready to chew him out… but she stops upon his request – intrigued by his up and coming excuses.

“Very well. I’m listening.”

The male’s striking blue gaze meets her own after this statement, but she dares not budge. Not again. As much as she hated being the cause of any sort of negative emotion onto another soul, she would not budge in this instance. He had to learn. Now or never.

The honey-amber eyed female stares back at him with a stern and expecting gaze. She listens to every word, every shift in tone, all the reasons, beliefs, and all around excuses. Processes every ounce of information and emotion… She was not buying any of it, no matter how true it was to him. His actions were simply inexcusable. Taking a deep breath, she goes to speak.

“And what good would you serve, running off to save another when you can barely take care of yourself,” she stares the alpha straight in the eyes, holding nothing but seriousness in them, “You had multiple ways to handle this issue, and you chose the most detrimental one without hesitance. I admire your selflessness, Killjoy, but that is no way for any alpha to behave when you have other methods and an entire pack to lead. It was nothing but reckless in my eyes, especially considering that you seem to have only come back with a worsened sprain.”

Xola moves to slowly pace around him, surveying his entire form with her striking eyes, “What would have happened if you had gotten yourself killed? Where would that leave the rest of us? Without you, alpha, there is no pack. If you die, we’d become nothing more than a pile of gnashing teeth claws, tearing at each other’s hides for the vacant position. And those not fighting would be left to scrounge for the scraps. No matter how close the pack members may be. Is that any way to leave your pack? Your people? Your family? Nay, it is not. You are the lifeline and the heart of this pack, Killjoy. I believe that it is time that you start acting like it. For without you, we are nothing.”

She stops her pacing in front of the male, meeting his gaze with her unmoving one, “I do not wish to see any of this happen. I do not wish to see you hurt, and I do not wish to show you or anyone else in the pack disrespect. But, I cannot let such foolish actions slide on by. However, I do accept your apology. Just, please, think things through before acting on your thoughts? Oh, and listen to my medical orders. I do not take kindly to those who care little about my aid.”

The night-fallen female stares after him as she waits for a response. Though, it seemed as though she was only met with silence as of now, as the brown and black canine moved to sit near to her and eventually lay down to seemingly get some rest.

With a slightly agitated sigh, she makes her way over to the selection of herbs she had stuffed away at the back of her den. All completely organized, of course. Nosing through, the medic picks out her usual selection. Goldenrod, horsetail, and dandelions for the newcomers. She would have grabbed poppy seeds as well, but she did not wish to make either of the two drowsy before they made their way back to their own camp. So, dandelions would have to do. Some clover, again, was selected for her alpha in order to reapply what had been taking off of Killjoy’s leg during his journey. When he was dry enough, anyway.

Taking one last glance at her collection of herbs, she grimaces. Yeah, now she was low on stock. Goldenrod had only a few stalks left, horsetail was about to be completely depleted, clove had a single leaf left, and the dandelions had a scrap or two present in their respective corner that would be utterly useless to her. And, it was not enough to gather more in case she needed more. She would have to go out herb-hunting. Unless…

Padding out of the medic’s den, she looks about for that scout from earlier – ready to ask for her aid. Spotting her just to the side of her entrance, she speaks, “Miss scout, I do apologize, but it seems that I have run low on some plants. I should have enough for now, but would it be too much of a bother for you to head out and gather more in case I have underestimated the amount I need? Oh, and please. Do take someone with you. I do not wish to see another injured wolf in this camp today.”

Taking a second to think of anything else, a lightbulb goes off in her mind. There was someone that was not in her den that should be.

“Oh, and one last thing – if it’s not too much of an ask. Could you find that brindle fellow from before? The one who had helped Rags into my den? He came back injured, so he must be treated. Though, please, do not feel the need to escort him to my den. If he cannot move, I’ll come to him. I merely need his location.”

After listening to her reply, Xola nods her head in thanks and heads back in to treat what she could. Applying goldenrod and horsetail, and giving dandelions to both of the new wolves as carefully as possible.

Shadow | M | Alpha | SFP | M: Bardou
Shadow watched as Shalah treated the wounds quickly but efficiently, working with several herbs that he had only a limited experience with. At Bardou's words, he refocused on her to listen to what she had to say. Of course he wouldn't go after a deranged cougar, he would let the foxes take care of it. Shadow blinked as Bardou finished, staying silent. He stayed quiet for several moments, which worried Shalah as his face took on a cold expression.

Spotted pelt pattern. Unknown to the forest. Strung up prey in trees. Icicle whined at his paws now, thinking the same thing. The humans were getting stupid. Dropping another jaguar into the forest. Thankfully, there was no family this time but it was dangerous. Last time, he had the advantage as he used the cave. Almost got crushed himself but that got rid of three of them.

Shadow got up to start pacing camp as he delved into his thoughts. Icicle sat nearby, covering her face with her paws. She hadn't fought the jaguars, rather stayed in camp with Flame while he and Frost dealt with them. And Killjoy had tagged along. Shadow winced slightly, remembering letting the male see his outraged side. He did not care himself for being angry like that. He had a good reason though.

Alha had joined Icicle and was now watching him worriedly. After a few minutes of pacing, Shadow stopped to look at her. She almost shrank from the expression on his face. There was a cold glint in his eyes but he ignored her concern as he said, "If Bardou awakes before I return, tell her I will be back for her soon. She is not to move a muscle until Shalah tells her to. I need to warn the packs about this cat." Alha quickly said before he turned, "Don't pick a fight with it. It's dangerous."

Shadow gave her an odd look before growling coldly, "I should know." Without anything else, he trotted out of the camp and started for the path. Knowing Night, he wasn't at camp anymore so it was best to go to Killjoy first. Loping down the riverside, he started up the narrow path that would lead him to the borders.

Brute l Male l Beta l Raven l M: Willow
.
Brute could tell Willow was feeling anxious. "Dont worry Willow." He said in a soft, reassuring voice. "The cougar wont come here. And if it does, it'll have to come through me first if it even wants to lay a claw on you." He finished with a smile, and licked her muzzle. When they got to Sundown's den he help her in and nodded towards an empty bedding. "You can lay there." He pointed with his muzzle, and settled down beside her. Once she layed down he asked her, with a smile on his face, "Is there anything you need m'dear?"
.
Hondo l Male l Beta l Eastern l M: Xola, camp
.
Hondo awoke groggy and disoriented. He squinted with his eyes, but the amount of bloodloss made everything blurry. The Beta stumbled to his paws, and half limped, and half hobbled out of the den. He looked back at the huge puddle of sickening red blood, pooling on the dirt floor, and looked down to see what was left of his leg. He looked back up, and tryed to figure out where the medic den was. If only Xola was around. Blurs of all different colors moved around him, and stumbled towards them. He breathed in heavily, exhaled, and before he had lifted a paw, the Beta was collasped in the middle of camp, unconscious.

Bardou // Beta // Raven // Mentions: No one

The world around her was cold.. dark silent. A perpetual shadow followed her around a constant reminder of what happened what had once been. Soft paws tapped the ground as a landscape unfolded before her... Home. Why was she back, howd she even get there? Hmmph.. the sights and sounds hadnt changed. She was walking the memory lane.

She only clued into that when she felt movement stir inside her. The lives she had been secretly harboring. A wolf goldish red in color ran up to her.

"Alpha Seeker requests your presence."

Bardou nodded and trotted into the heavily decorated alphas den.

"Daughter."

The large orange colored male adressed her. Audits flattening Bardou raised her cranium to look into her fathers optics.

"Ive noticed the changes, you know the rules of our pack. You either bring him here to take rule with you or you leave to keep the packs blood line safe."

Bardou lashed her banner behind her hating this memory but unable to escape it. Snarling she stood at full height.

"You care only about this packs sacred lines, yet you havent noticed all ive been doing. The territory? Larger then its been in 2 years. Your warriors far better trained then ever before. You should be honored I carry on the lines yet you stand here and scold me."

Bardou shook her cranium.

"Its your loss not mine, father. When you die Ill lead in your steps. You will allow me to for im the next in line, you know im an amazing leader."

Seeker shifted his muzzle bending to brush bardous audits.

"That you will be, have your pups outside the borders. Bring them back well trained and reclaim your throne."

Bardou shivered inwardly as she nodded. Her father wasnt heartless but to allow her to stay would lead to questions about his rules.

Turning she left the den wolves stopped to bow their craniums, she wasnt exiled no. She was simply taking her leave for a short time....

Bardous body tremored violently her claws sinking into the dirt as she growled lowly as her mind spun her forwards several moons.

Soft growling could be heard as a brother and sister wrestled within a den gaurded by a snow colored mother. The scent of deer soon reached Bardous nostrils... hmm so it had infact been lured into the trap. The tang of blood was also easily detected. Grinning dangerously Bardou stood up.

"Evening, and creek. Get in the den and do NOT come out till im back."

The pups where old enough to listen, but also needed her milk still so she needed meat as did they given her milk was only half their diet. Traditionally the male would help hunt and provide... but, she had fallen for an unreliable brother. The other brother had been power greedy, and attempted to use their relationship to help get him closer to her father... which of course landed him running off with his banner tucked. The other brother being the older brothers shadow said good bye to bardou and flaked off... so now she was doing this alone.

Trotting to the deer she grinned, the humans traps where working swell for her. Catching deer with berries in the traps made for an easier hunt. Lunging forwards she sank her canines into the deer ending its life swiftly before staring into its optics to thank it. Though her hunt was short lived as the screams of pups reached her audits. Bardou abadoned her kill and raced to the den. The scene that greeted her would cause any normal wolf to crumble, but it caused her to eyes to glaze as her intelligent mind got to work on how to kill the male before her.

Creek... her son hung from the males jaws as he let out muffled laughter.

"This is what you get bit** for ruining my chances at leading such a strong pack."

Bardou snarled the sound powerful. The snarl transfered to her living form it rattled through her frame holding the promise of death to the one that crossed her years before.

"The pack would fall under the lead of a tyrant such as yourself... now welcome to the hell ill be taking you to for killing my family."

Bardou lunged forwards her action knocking Creeks limp form from the males mouth as she piveted and stood protectivly infront of creek and evening.. she had failed. Yet she could still prevent her pack from meeting this brute.

The male laughed again blood running down his chin before Bardou lunged causing the males laughter to bubble into gurgles as she grasped his throat. He shifted his weight and slammed her down upon her back ripping his neck from her clamped jaws. Leaning down he snapped at her audits.

"Join me then little doe."

Bardou growled and lunged.

"Not a chance."

The male moved as she lunged and sank his fangs into her neck. Basically saying wrong choice. Bardou took a deep breath and rolled her jaws wrapping around his scruff. Taking him with her. The momentum and a poorly placed stick ended the fight swiftly. The male promptly bleeding out on a string of curses and Bardou weakly crawling towards her pups. Gently she gathered a faintly breathing evening into her paws humming a song to the dying pup as she tucked creek against her belly caring not of her own ripped open neck....

Storm-Male-Wolf-Eastern-M: Malicia (Dir), Hondo (Dir), Veracious (Ind), Eastern Camp (Ind)
~
Storm carefully lifted the wolf off of the queen, and was shocked by the unexpectedly heavy weight as he placed the wolf across his back in a way that he was laying on his belly with his head hanging over the black wolf's shoulder, and his legs limply dangled down. Then, he smiled at the queen when she thanked him before following her, feeling the wolf's head loll around every time he stepped. The two traversed through the forest, Storm keeping one eye on the wolf's face, finding it creepy how his eyes were pale and lifeless. Then, he used his snout to nudge the wolf's head so that it would be resting across his neck, and then looked back towards where he was going, seeing the camp faintly in the distance. He prepared to run, but remembered the wolf on his back and forced himself to have self-control and not. Looking back at his shoulder, he saw the wolf's head dangling there again after sliding off his neck, which made him sigh in defeat and just allowed it to hang there.
~
He turned his head back to the sight of the camp, and pinned his ears back against his head nervously. I don't want to see the reactions of everyone... He gulped, dreading the moment he'd enter the camp. It seemed to be getting closer so fast, but so slow at the same time. He shook his head and looked back at Malicia, who looked exhausted. He was tempted to offer to carry the elder too, but he didn't think even he'd be able to do that. He just admired her by how she could carry that even while she was exhausted. Then, he looked away and noticed that they were right at the entrance, and he stopped with a nervous expression. Shaking his head, he continued to walk into the camp. Following Malicia to the center of the camp, he gently rolled the wolf off his back and laying him on his side. He dipped his head in respect to the dead wolves. "Have a good journey, fellow packmates." He said, managing to keep his voice straight and powerful. The alpha, Killjoy approached and said his goodbyes before returning to who he presumed was the medic. He quickly walked, or trotted away returning to his normal corner with Veracious, his ears pinned against his head before looking around for Veracious, who was nowhere in sight. "...Veracious?" He gasped when he looked around everywhere, not seeing even a bit of her fur. "Veracious?" He barked a little bit louder this time.
~
Then, he heard a plopping sound and turned towards it, seeing a bloodied wolf. He let out a gasp and ran over to the wolf, stopping next to him, leaning down and looking at him. "Hey are you okay?!" He yelped, gently nudging the wolf with his nose, but he was obviously unconscious. Trying again, he nudged the wolf a little rougher, but was unsuccessful. He's loosing so much blood right now! He started to panic, and began to try and think of what to do. I'm not a medic! Maybe I can just call for the medic to come? "Hey! Whoever's the medic here, this wolf needs help!"
-[~|~]-
Veracious-Female-Wolf-Eastern-M: Storm (Ind)
~
Veracious watched as Storm placed a wolf on his back, struggling to get the wolf's lower half on him. She was tempted to go help, but decided not to. Instead, she turned toward the river and sat down, watching the waters rush and listening to it's peaceful gurgling. Her eyes were narrowed as she stared at it before she squeezed her eyes shut, then opened them with a new expression. Exhaustion. Pack life was new to her, and was a difficult change to just up and have happen. Storm seemed to enjoy it a lot, but his somber expression as he stared at the dead wolves was not even the worst about to happen. He would lose close friends to creatures such as that. Pack life isn't easy. It's full of sorrow, pain, fear, but last of all, acceptance. Acceptance is never something Storm learned, and he definitely won't accept the death of the friends he'll make. She let out a sigh, closing her eyes. I worry for him.

Scout | Eastern Pack | Mentions : The Injured [ Rags, Killjoy, Malicia, Vervacious, River ] Xola, Storm, Hondo & Others

The young male wasn't happy with how crowded the medic den was becoming - his ears pinned in an annoyed matter, he was quite unsure of all these new wolves, especially the strangers. And he had to admit, he didn't appreciate some of their attitudes - especially the ones that seemed annoyed with his mother's help. They could rot for all he cared, they should consider themselves lucky that his mother even had such a big heart to help them

out. And he had to frown in disappointment at their Alpha, who had childishly ran off to help the pack - and their Beta Female seemed to have a similar annoyance as she gave a slight huff at his return. The obsidian colored male, silently made his way towards the entrance - to give enough space for all these crowded wolves. He hadn't even manage to give a playful tease back to his mother before all hell had broken loose, and it seemed even more injured were coming over to their camp - all these stranger wolves and their problems, it was quite annoying and he wasn't sure why they were even here. Didn't they have their own medic? Why should his pack deplete their resources for their neighbors. He gave a soft growl of annoyance and looked at his mother with a worried expression as she asked a fellow scout to gather some herbs.

"Mother, do you need me to help gather some herbs as well? It would be foolish of me to do nothing and you need assistance - you know I know a lot about herbs and such, I can help you if needed." He said in a rather uncommonly gentle tone to her, "besides, why are we helping these strangers. " he said with a bit of distaste, not caring if he got scolded, "don't they have their own medic to attend to them, it's quite annoying they are depleting the recourses needed to help our fellow pack members." He said with a bit of a grumpy tone, " and before you lecture me, I know we should do to others as we want to us, but I don't want you to run yourself ragged, Mother. And don't give me no : "it's the life of a medic " bullshit, you have the authority to not help or take a break," and he gave a deep sigh of annoyance and in a way to try and calm himself before saying more unnecessarily harsh things, " just, please don't overwork yourself, I will help you tend to the injures of others after I find some appropriate herbs."

Hymir then noticed the panicked shouting of someone and he gave an exhausted and rather annoyed sight, " What in the bloody hell could it be now?" He said with a renewed agitation, and he made his way to the source to find a fellow pack member, Storm, shouting for a medic. Imbecile, he snarked inwardly as he gave a sharp glare to the male, " Oh, yes, yelling for a Medic to magically appear, is just, oh, so helpful. Especially when the Medic is currently tied up with more wounded." He said snarkily, his golden eyes holding agitation and he look rather annoyed at the unconscious wolf and then to the panicking one.

"If you want to be useful, help me get him to my mother and stop barking like a damned pup with their tail tucked between their legs. It's not very becoming . " He said sternly as he attempted to get the wolf on him to lift on his back. He managed to actually get a good portion of his body on his back.

The young male began slowly walking back to camp with the injured wolf and pack mate in tow, " We have yet another injured party. " he announced sarcastically to his mother .

Malicia // Eastern // Queen // Mentions: Storm. Hymir

The Pregnant queen watched as the beta collapsed and storm rushed towards him. Shifting she hauled her frame up cursing the added weight as she moved forwards audits perking she listened to the young male hymir adress her pack mate in a rather rude manner. Its not like hymir was in a higher place then the wolf he was addressing.. and while sure storm was acting silly he had also just helped her carry two dead wolves back. So, she imagined seeing one in her betas condition would be rather shocking.

With a dangerous snarl she whipped her cranium and nipped Hymir sqaurely on the flank her hackles partially risen. Not hard enough to draw blood or cause him to drop the beta but enough to scold him. She didnt take kindly to others speaking like that to anyone.. it also wasnt the time to be making another feel inferior.

Malicia leaned and picked Hondo up, letting storm recover from the shock of all the blood. Malicia was indeed tired but, her stormy gaze once more held fire to them. Storm wouldnt be helping as it was time hymir learned some humility.

"For one, its the beta we carry, And two watch your tongue when speaking to others. This is a high stress time so barking around like you are is of no assistance. So either be respectful or hold your tongue, because as far as im concerned the only pup here is you."

Malicia stated firmly, her tone holding a dont f*** around and find out edge to it. Her banner lashed as she moved forwards at a steady pace her audits shoved forwards. Her dark colored pelt rolled over her muscles as she moved.

Night | M | Alpha | Raven | M: Ore, Sundown, Willow(ind), Brute, Anora
Night trotted through the forest at a fast lope, making sure Anora was keeping up. After quite a few minutes, he made it to the river. Sniffing around the edge, he caught traces of the cougar from earlier but no sign of any fresh scent. Nodding to Anora, he plunged in swimming strongly to the other side. Pulling himself onto shore, he shook off and waited for Anora to join him before taking off towards camp.
~
Making it to camp, he walked over to the medic's den. Catching sight of Brute with one of the queens, he said, "As you mentioned before, we need to be wary of traps. When Alpha Shadow returns, let him know of them. For now, both of you rest and Sundown will take care of you." Night turned back to Anora before saying, "Stay with them and make sure no wolf goes out by themselves. We have enough injuries as it is."
~
Night then turned to go find Ore. When he found her, he said, "I understand that you had a long journey but unfortunately, we are putting you straight to work. I need you to grab the herbs that is needed to help gashes, tears, cuts and infections. We need to assist the Eastern medic with our wolves and her own. The cougar attack was worse than normal due to starvation." Night frowned, remembering an old smell of milk on the female cougar although he had pushed it away when he was fighting. "We need to be on the lookout for cougar kits as well." He said, his words directed more towards his pack than just Ore.
~
Night waited patiently for Ore to return to him so they could go. He would have to make a mental note to keep an eye on his hunters for a few days as well. Now that she was lead hunter, she just kept getting in trouble. If River was getting in this much trouble, he could only hope the hunters that was out was okay.
