The female snarled. "I'm capable on my own, but I don't think we're going to be finding him anytime soon." She stated bluntly. If Chaos was usurped, Nagasi would be eager to take the role of dominant lioness but as long as the male was ruler she had little respect for their authority.

The lovely cub perked her aqua blue eyes up to look at Naiti and she pinned her ears back. "I-i'm fine." She spoke in a quivering tone and stood up. "A queen doesn't need to be snuggled." In truth, Kesi wanted nothing more than to be loved by her deceased mother, Sanura. How she missed the females calm and loving dear, keeping her warm.

Chaos

Chaos stood up, "Nagasi!" he said in a warning tone, "You need to remember who you are talking to, and lose the bad attitude." He was getting tired of this bad tempered lioness. She was constantly critzing without doing anything helpful. "Obviously, if you felt like challenging the dominant lioness right now, it would be unfair, so I won't allow it that way. Why are you being so challenging? It's not like you try to be helpful or offer ideas, and you never tried to challenge before."

She snarled. "And it was fair when Chandra was close to death and indigo challenged her?" She barked at the male. "I just can't understand how quickly you love the lioness who killed your mate!" Without another look back, Nagasi stormed out of the den, her emotions taking over which was rare for the mild-tempered lioness. She released a sigh and plopped down.

Her face dropped as the words escaped ngasi's lips. Terror rushed through her as the thoughts of chandra returned. She was right. She killed her.

No. No she didn't.

Yes. Yes she did

Her thoughts continued to argue over Wetjer indigo was guilty or not. She didn't know she was that sick, how could she have known? She seemed perfectly fine when they were hunting and bickering.

Amara looked at Ajihad. "I'm sure even if she tried anything you could take her on yourself. She looked hurt from what I saw" she said calmly as she slowly climbed off the rocks. She nuzzled Ajihad before she allowed him to take lead walking over to the nomad.

He sighed softly and learned until his fur was brushed against hers."thank god.."He ran a a roast across his cheek and looked at it, seeing some blood stain his dark pelt."as long as you're ok I'll be alright..just a nick anyways."he said with a reassuring smile. It stung a little but he didn't pay it a lot of attention. As the herd finally passed he licked at her ch eek once more before making his way down the tree, waiting at the bottom for her." I suposse we should find Amara and Ajihad first and make sure they're ok." He said, knowing she would be worried over her sister.

Siku rolled his eyes at the cub.

'Get up already, you baboon brained cub (foolhardy in human language). Let's get back to den to check on others'.

Siku made a step forward and softly stepped on his crooked paw on accident. He winced and stood there in mid-step. Then he opened his eyes slowly and examined his paw. It hurt more than usual. That stupid zebra! That stupid cub! He looked at the cub angrily.

'Make a move on, you brat', he snarled, 'Because of you, my paw seems to be even more broken than usual'.

Siku has always found cubs annoying. But this was Karaz's cub, and he owes Karaz for being allowed to stay in the pride. He rolled his green eyes and nudged Jaytone.

'Go to the den, now', he said more softer.

Jasiri followed Ngasi submissively with his eyes. How dare she talk like that with Chaos? He glanced back at Chaos with Indigo and smiled. They will make a great couple together. And they might have a strong cub between them.

He coughed and made his way towards them.

'Chaos', he started, 'I need to ask you something. I will soon be 4 years old, but I would like to stay in this pride, instead leaving'. Jasiri bowed low in respect.

'I have no wish in challenging you, and only want to obey you'. He looked at Indigo.

'Both of you', he finished.
