Khaleesi heard Zura's warning, but it was too late. She knew for a fact that the lions had come up after she tried to talk to Lilacia. She began shrinking away, because it didn't seem like Lilacia was going to be willing to join the pride, that Khaleesi wanted to create. She went to go hide. She wasn't comfortable asking Chaos to join his pride. She heard Ajihad's announcement, and she cursed. Another pair of lions had cornered her. She wasn't sure what to do or where to go. She didn't know who this pride leader was. She realized that he smelled like Chaos pride. She realized that this must be a young lion, that had started a new family. She hissed to Zura, "Do you want to join any of these prides?" She didn't want to join Chaos pride, because she didn't trust him, but she was thinking about checking out Chaos' son's pride.

Chaos

Chaos watched as a normal lioness went to talk to a cream lioness. He slowly approached, and wondered why he smelled so many lion scents on this border. There was another lioness nearby. He could smell it, because the wind had stopped blowing for a moment. He looked to see Jasiri's reaction at the young lioness mocking him. He wondered if he should try to recruit these lioness to join his pride. He decided to sit there and wait to see if they would request to join. The normal lioness slunk away when the cream lioness didn't respond. He realized that he could smell Ajihad's and Nanuk's scent nearby. That meant that new lion scent hadn't taken over the pride. He watched as Ajihad appeared on the other side of the lionesses. Ajihad nodded his head in acknowledgement of his father.

Ajihad/Ajihad Pride

Ajihad finally made it to the border. There were many lion scents. Three lionesses, two Chaos pride lions, and Ajihad and Nanuk. He decided that he wouldn't waste any time. "If any of you lionesses are looking for a pride, my pride is open," he announced. He would kick them out, if they weren't a good fit for the pride.

Astrid/Ajihad Pride

Astrid had been laying still. She needed to go check on the lions, because they still hadn't returned. She was getting nervous. She didn't know where her sister was her the lions. She went to the border and smelled that a new lion had helped them mark the borders or at least that's what she thought. She followed the scent trail until she saw him sitting beside a dead bull. She left before he saw her, and went back to the den. She hoped her sister was alright. Her sister was inside growling. She rushed to her sister's side, "What happened? Are you okay?" she asked.

Amara clawed the ground. "i-i think the Cubs are coming" she said. She didn't know what to expect. She knew most lionesses went off on their own to have the Cubs, but Amara felt she didn't have that luxury with the pride being so small. She let out a pained roar before she closed her eyes.

After about an hour, three cubs were born, but one lay still. Amara's ears were back, wondering what she did wrong for a cub to not make it.

Astrid knew that lionesses normally had their cubs by themselves, so she backed away and let Amara do her business. When Amara finally had her cubs, she approached cautiously. "Is it okay if I come closer?" she asked. She saw a stillborn cub, and she could feel her grief for her sister's loss. She didn't say anything though.

Amara looked at Astrid and nodded. "Yes" she said. She started to groom and clean off the Cubs. She tilted her head. "Am I seeing things, or is this cub pure white" she asked. She saw the female as pure white and never thought cubs would be white before. She was glad at least two of the Cubs survived.

Astrid leaned over to gaze at her little neices or nephews. She smiled at them, "They're beautiful." She noticed one cub was pure white, "Woah," she breathed. She wondered if that was an albino or just white. They probably wouldn't know until the cub's eyes opened. She asked her sister, "Are you okay?"

Amara sighed. "I think so. I just don't know what I did wrong for this one cub to not make it" she said as she looked at Astrid. "Do you know where Ajihad is" she asked as she thought of names for them. *Luna is perfect the the little girl* she thought. She looked at her newborn son and smiled. *Ajaylen for my little boy* she thought with a smile.

(Ajaylen is the name Alpha picked for the boy)

Astrid wondered where Ajihad was, "Do you want me to go find him?" she asked. "What are you going to name them?" she inquired. She leaned closer to figure out their gender. One male and one female. Astrid was excited. The first new lives in their new pride.

Amara nodded. "If you wouldn't mind, I would be grateful" she said. "I'm thinking Luna for the girl, and Ajaylen for the boy" she replied as she nuzzled the cubs. She stiffened up when Luna gave a startled cry smelling her mother, aunt and brother there. Amara pulled Luna and Ajaylen close so they could latch on and nurse.

The only reason Astrid felt comfortable leaving her sister was because it was the normal way of a lioness. She went to go find Ajihad. She hoped he was okay, because he had never sent word. She followed his scent trail to the Chaos border. She smelled Chaos', Jasiri's, Nanuk's, Ajihad's and three lioness's scents. She wondered what they were all doing. She stayed out of sight range and waited for something to happen.
