Zura/Karaz Pride, lioness 5

Zura was about to join Ukuta and Siku, when she noticed Naita walking across the den even sadder. Jackal padded beside her before running off somewhere, probably to see his friend or something. Naita flopped down, not even making her bedding, which was unusual.Zura squinted her eyes and walked over to the grieving lioness. She was about to call her name when she suddenly caught a whiff of a dead cub. Oh no.....Zura sniffed again. Maybe it is stale smell from Jaytone? Even if it smells different? No, Zura can't lie to herself: It is the smell off Amra. And not a fresh one.

Zura lowered her ears and backed away. 2 cubs. 2 cubs lost in a day. What kind of day is this?

He yawned lightly and shook his pelt out."well, I guess I'll get down to business. Are we bedding with you two atleast for tonight? And im about to do a sweep or our area, scent it to keep others out as well as check to see if any fresh scents are around us as well. As a side job I'll also keep a look out for any herds we could hunt over time. "He said as he stood, speaking mostly to Ajihad who was now his dominant, though he wasn't weary like he was with chaos, he was more comfortable and would make sure he did anything Ajihad needed him to do.

Ajihad nodded, "Thank you for reminding me. Since this is our first night here, we should probably take turns keeping watch. I can go first if you want. We'll have to go out together tomorrow and choose spots to make scent markers. Thank you for volunteering to check out the area," he thanked him. "We can all sleep together if you want to. I don't care," he said.

Astrid/Ajihad Pride

Astrid laughed, because Nanuk laughed. She wasn't sure what he was laughing about though. She liked the place. It looked cool and comfortable. She lay down beside her sister. She was excited about setting up a new territory. They would even to get to pick the scent markers. She closed her eyes, because she wanted tomorrow to come faster.

Amara looked at them. "I can take the shift after you Ajihad" she said with a smile. She was glad they were able to work together. They were all close to the same age, but that seemed to really help them, and thats what she was grateful for. *Maybe we will be able to find a few lionesses to join to not stress out everyone so much* she thought as she gave a yawn. She realized how tired she was after that walk and sighed a bit. She licked her paws a bit before she looked back at the others.

Astrid volunteered to take whichever turn she was assigned. She told them with her eyes still closed. She was glad that they had gotten to eat before they were banished. Chaos had been surprisingly nice about that. She remembered Jasiri watching them leave. She wondered if he would miss having lions and lionesses around his age.

He nodded and smiled." Not a problem. We've been friends this long, I don't see a point in letting our new titles change how I act with you for the most part. " he said and nodded as he discussed the eventing tomorrow."sounds good. I can take the shift after or last whichever." He said as he followed then in. He may close to Astrid but still far enough away that she had her own space. They had agreed to get to know each other first and he didn't want her to feel like he was going to crowd her or rush. He let out a big yawn and licked his paws for a few minutes before laying on his side with a soft grunt, closing his eyes.

Chaos heard someone limping up. He turned and felt Indigo leaning on him. "Are you sure you should be walking?" he worried. He continued to worry, "Do you think it was right that I banished the young lions?" he asked. He hadn't felt confident about that decision.

Ajihad/Ajihad Pride

Ajihad didn't feel like a dominant the way Chaos was. He just was the one who made executive decisions that they would carry out unless his decisions were bad. He felt like he was the leader, because no one else wanted to. They were used to following. "Amara will just randomly pick one of you to wake up," he decided. Ajihad moved away from the group. He didn't want to be tempted to go to sleep.

Astrid/Ajihad Pride

Astrid noticed that Nanuk left space. She was relieved, because she didn't feel pressured, but she sort of wanted to be closer. She decided that she might move things too fast, if she moved closer, so she stayed where she was.

A soft chuckle left rhe lioness' lips as she heard chaos' words. "the pain stopped so I'll be fine unless I move it properly" she confirmed. A light sigh escaped her lips as chaos continued to worry, this time about the departed lions. "it was obvious they wanted to leave and start a family together" she reissue Ed and nuzzled into his mane once more.
