So, your w o l v e s have new gear? Your avatar is a meme? Your p r e y has turned into something new? You've been pranked (by the game / Eve)! I see a lot of players thinking they've been hacked every year, so I made this guide to help them.

Q: Why did this happen?
A: It's April Fool's Day. Every year, we get some sort of prank. You haven't been hacked.

Q: Why did my avatar change to memes?
A: It's part of the prank. Also, some years it changes if you refresh chat / the page!

Q: Why do my w o l v e s have different gear?
A: Again, it's part of the prank. Their real gear is still there, but the new things cover it. You won't have to reset anything.

Q: Why is my p r e y different?
A: Part of the prank again. There's will be a list below of which p r e y each thing is.

Q: Will I have to reset everything (avatar, w o l f backgrounds, gear)?
A: No! You won't have to reset anything. It's all still there. The only thing you might have to reset is your avatar.

Q: When will it stop?
A: The prank will end tonight / tomorrow. Everything will be 100% back to normal tomorrow. This only lasts for April Fool's Day.

Changes

Usually, avatars, p r e y, w o l f gear, certain words, and w o l f backgrounds have been affected by the prank.
Here's what I know so far:

Avatars:
This is usually what concerns people the most, since it's the first thing most people notice when they log on. Your avatar is a meme. Actually, it's more if you refresh chat / the page a few times. You won't have to reset it tomorrow.
This year, we have squirrel memes.

P r e y:
Your p r e y sometimes changes, too! Here's a list:
Squirrels - ?
Rabbits - ?
Deer - ?
Pheasants - ?
Elk - no change
Moose - no change

Gear:
Your w o l f has different gear? Don’t worry, it's regular gear is still there. It's just hidden for now and will reappear tomorrow. You won't have to reset this. For those of you that like the gear, I'm pretty sure it's not in Barter, but it might be added tomorrow or sometime in the near future. P u p s don't have gear, even in different poses. W o l v e s that are 2 years old don't have it, either.
This year, each pack's w o l v e s do not have gear!

Backgrounds:
Your w o l v e s may have different backgrounds today, too. The background currently isn't available anywhere on site, but like the gear it might be later on. As of right now though, it isn't. Your w o l v e s will have their normal backgrounds and gear again tomorrow. You don't have to reset them.
No background changes this year.

It doesn't seem like this happens in chat, but certain words change in the forums.
