As many of you may know by now, courtesy of chat and me gushing about her, I have a pet spider. Her name is Mitzy. She is just nearly seventh months old, and I've had her for a little over a full whole month.

I absolutely adore her. She is so very precious to me, so I am dedicating this thread to all things Mitzy. Stories, photos, and yes, even artwork.

You may ask questions, draw her, etc. All posts by me will be pinned, and organized with a table of contents here!

Funfact one: Her name!

"Mitzy" was actually inspired by my almost-name. It was genuinely one of the options on the table for me as a baby. I did not end up being a Mitzy, or a Ricky, lol. When I got my lil girlie, I couldn't think of a name.
It took me about three days until it suddenly dawned on me; "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" playing in my head. I wanted that, but then realized Mitzy rhymed perfectly.

So thus she became "Itsy Bitsy Mitzy"

I am actually in love it's insane ;v;

Mitzy has retreated into her hammock. She's been there about two days, and was a lil sluggish the day before that. She gets like this when she's prepping for a molt. Sure enough, she's doing her silly little molting dance in her enclosure!!

I am misting her enclosure as needed, but she'll likely be in there for a while.
