also has questions about Ariadne in general. like if she stuff cheekss a lot would he be able to see it in her tail like he can with normal snakes? at what point does one stop being a naga and become a mermaid since one portion of her is a watersnake? are there even organs in her snake portion or is it just A Big Leg?

Ok so I actually made answers to these because I like developing races, and maybe it'll help me work on her sheet and figured you fellas should also know.

stuff cheeksing a lot: No, most of the digestion happens in the human portion of her body. Also, since it happens in the human half she doesn't really have the ability to stuff cheeks massive amounts at once. She cannot unhinge her jaw to swallow fish whole and it's a tragedy indeed.

Mermaid: Mermaids typically have fins and their tails are more fish-like, meanwhile Nagas have snake tails. Eel Mermaids/Nagas are where the line is really blurred because they're basically just fucking fish snakes, so who the hell knows. Both species also copy the "abilities" of whatever their tail is. Like how Ari is based on a Cottonmouth, so she has venom. Nagas typically can't brstuff cheekshe underwater, and most Mermaids can. Some mermaids can have the tails of whales/dolphins and therefore need to surface in order to brstuff cheekshe, though they can hold their brstuff cheeksh for extended periods of time.

Organs: I'd say it's probably like a centaur type thing, however they work in this world. How I'm choosing to say it works though, is she does have some organs in her tail, though it's mainly just intestines and shit. Idk about the reproductive situation, whether it'd be snake anatomy and it'd be in the tail or if it'd be human anatomy, and I don't want to think about it because it's not important <3

I wish. Venom in food doesn't do much unless you have wounds in your mouth/throat, you know? It really only works if it gets in your bloodstream. Trust me, I thought about it.
