Depends on the meds and the person. For me meds that knock most people out or at the very least woozy, such as benadryl have a greater chance me feeling awake and energized. And some things that make most people be awake and energized, like caffeine, make me take the greatest nap of my life

Guards, healers, leaders and second in commands tend to know when someone is lying even other Colony members which is why they tell the truth even if they are not believed (see Ember and Chasm). Ember is being everyone in her Colony except leader and omega. It's not that Okami is bad at lying. It's just some ranks are hard to lie to.

Okami could easily lie to another loner or someone who is not of those ranks listed. Hex might not believe the lies as she spends time with Ember.

Lying is a quick way to get kicked out of the territory if you are a loner or in trouble if you are in a Colony. Ember herself can't lie to Summer.

In other words: No Okami is not that bad at lying. It's just some ranks know when you are lying.

Hope that explains it a little. So to anyone if a guard, leader, healer or second in command catches your character in a lie. Don't worry because your character is not bad at lying unless you said in the form they are bad at it.
