If you aged her to be older than Aether and she was Illyrian her bat wings would likely be clipped and what could have complicated her relationship with him would be primarily based on the changes Aether enforced on the Illyrian's past culture/old practices (wing clipping of females and refusing to train them for battle).
If anything, perhaps if you aged her closer to Sabela she could have some form of anger for Aether not choosing her over Sabela to be the face of his movement to stop wing clipping and enforce giving female's the opportunity to fight/battle and train.
Just throwing some ideas out there.
Yeah, true. I might age her up just abit so she just a little closer in age. I think she might have a friendly teasing with Sabe, just as she likes to mess with others. Lmk if you have any other ideas, I'd like her to have partial friendships with Aether and the group. While she may be prickly Maeve is very skilled warrior to have around. |

@East MountainClan, would you be able to explain more about why you want Aether to have a complicated relationship with her? Because I'm not understanding you correctly I don't think. I don't understand why they would have a complicated relationship. |

The night court borders on the winter court too so do we want Aether to like snow or no? I'm just thinking because what if he keeps the night court summer-spring-y all year? |

what if he loves winter, but because he was set to marry the day courts high lady he keeps it very summer-y because her territory would be like that? it could cause the night court to be more upset with him too, because they liked the snow as well |
