Chargin didn't do vigil. He went to sleep. It's just that it's unusual to see him like that, but other foxes can still feel that inside, he still has those vibes, his personality hasn't changed. And he was taking time to do funeral sorts of stuff, since a fox actually died for real.

i think it makes sense for chargin to do the burial since hes the most senior fox in camp rn
