My starter wolves just gave me a boosted hero wolf. I feel like the older a wolf is the more likely it is to give something cool, but maybe it’s just because older wolves have been bred more so they're more likely to be seen than with wolves that haven’t been bred a lot

In Shai's defense, he does a lot out of spite. If someone tells him not to do something, 9/10 he will end up doing it.
Just re-read the RP posts, Vas is free to drag Shai to med-bay if he needs an assistent. He's got some knowldege but he ain't anywhere near Vas's medical knowledge
