I don't have too much an issue with characters being stubborn and holding grudges and whatnot, likely because I'm incredibly stubborn myself. It does get annoying, but it is part of their personality. At that point, someone may need to just force said character to move on.

yeah, i feel like most people are stubborn, but i literally can't stand it so i just avoid arguments with stubborn people. if a stubborn character is making me that angry then i'll purposefully try to piss them off lmfao

Truth be told, all real life people have that trait which is seen as annoying.

i do that with my class. we're all stubborn and i have a calendar that i mark off each day to make sure i annoy them. it's actually fun

yeah, i think i'm more passionate than stubborn. i wouldn't really know anyway since i avoid arguments. i just see it as childish but i started writing more stubborn characters just to see it was like and i found myself even becoming annoyed by them x)

I'ma be honest. But I can't help but feel as if I should change my characters with stubborn traits after this, and I know that stubbornness can be a annoying trait as I share it. I probably shouldn't be making such a big deal about this for myself. >_<

eeehhh, unless you make them that stubborn trope where they absolutely won't let anything up, then i wouldn't say you have to change it lol. it has the potential to be super interesting to interact with

Oh, no. My stubborn OC's aren't like that, and there's always the possibility to change their mind. Or they can change their own mind, once they realized they've goofed up. Like with the new OC I'm working on that you read the personality of. Robine. Someone she cares about could fall ill and she could be the only one able to get them the cure. She'd take it seriously, becoming fiercely determined to ultimately complete this goal. Shes partly a character that has the tendency to act on her good intention, while being able to be strongly stubborn and dead-set on something, especially so for another person that means something important to her.

Edit: She obviously has breaking points, as well. Points where she can be more fragile. :P
