On the note of genders, this really bothers me:

Personality - Lily is a typical teenage girl. She is bubbly, bright, and incredibly vain. She will spend hours putting in her makeup and chasing after the guys. She doesn't really care about her parents at all, and has no problem sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night.

Ahh, these descriptions irritate me to no end. What about this is a 'typical teenage girl'? 90% of teenage girls I know aren't like this at all. I dunno :')

And then the same thing for the 'typical teenage guy' descriptions as well.

I've only had about five females characters I can think of off of the top of my head, but they're usually pretty good characters. It just seems like a lot of people who play girls will give them essentially the same personality of "nice, sometimes shy, empathetic, has a temper, gardens/bakes/sings/arts." Then again, the number of "rogusih and charming" boys is pretty high, so I suppose it's just those deep-set preconceptions about gender acting up again.

I usually tell people to just write whatever backstory the other characters would know, and pretty much 50% of what I reveal about my character's backstory on the character sheet is either already a lie or becomes I lie when I revise their backstory for the 50th time.

I once made a character where I literally wrote it from a woman's perspective and then changed all of the "she"s to "he"s and "her"s to "him"s just to see if anyone would notice. They didn't.
