i've definitely been guilty of saying I have writer's block, but I don't let that impact my literatcy standards. you'll get the four paragraphs but they'll be poop :') I also must confess to being guilty of writing ,,, conventially attractive characters - though I do try to give them physcial flaws that detract. but i often create characters that reflect how I wish i looked - not that i'm not smokin in real life ;) - so I think that's why |

I also despise when people completely ignore the discussion and have chats in the Sign-Up and Thread. like,, no- we have a discussion for a reASON _ Or if someone doesn't reply to their post in the next page they have to quote it and clog the thread |

also, i can't be the only one that noticied it, but there is a massive lack of actually good punk OC's. not like the "i'm 17 and edgy and my parents are dead" type of punk, but actual punk culture, beliefs and clothing. i dress scene goth/perky goth and i only recently noticed i have no alternative characters x) i have a (singular) cottagecore and a Y2K character, but those are my only characters that dress in subcultures. i'd really like to make a romantic goth character since i've never seen one, but then again, i only make OC's if i have a personality in mind :( |

You know, I don't think I really have very many alternative characters either. Definitely not punk - I know nothing about punk. Or goth. Or clothing, which is why all of my characters either wear leather, suits, or T-shirts. I'm not that great at describing what my character wears. I guess it's better than people who completely leave it out of the description. |

I think I'll try that out soon! Mind if I PM you? It won't be for a while (hopefully), because this RP addiction is getting out of hand and I have way too many RPs right now. But one more could never hurt, right? If I see a place for this goth character, maybe I'll give it a go. |

Speaking of attractive characters. I've been creating this Kelpie male OC on the side, and I was contemplating that when he touches the water or vice versa, that he turn's into this carnivorous humanoid water beast. Like if he puts his hand in water, instantaneously will a webbed scaly hand with claws replacing his pale hand. It'd be the same for his equine form. From a big, strong build heavily resembling the Clydesdale on land, to a more aquatic horse with a smaller skinny build built for agility in water but appears so skinny that you can see it's bones, even of the skull. Like someone sucked the life out the stallion. Of course, due to some of the depiction of Kelpie devouring their drowned victoms, it'll have fangs being carnivorous. To me it'd be a spin on the usually attractive mythical creature that's depicted, even if it mean's I'd have a lot of typing to do. |
